Crickhowell (; Welsh: Crucywel pronounced [krɨkːəu̯ɛl], non-standard spelling Crughywel) is a town and community in southeastern Powys, Wales, near Abergavenny, and is in the historic county of Brecknockshire.

The Bear Hotel, formerly the White Bear, stands on Beaufort Street, Crickhowell, Powys, Wales. A coaching inn from the mid 18th century, the building has older origins from the 17th and 15th centuries. It is a Grade II* listed building.

Crickhowell Market Hall (Welsh: Neuadd y Farchnad Crucywel), formerly Crickhowell Town Hall (Welsh: Neuadd y Dref Crucywel), is a municipal building in the High Street, Crickhowell, Powys, Wales. The structure, which accommodates market stalls on the ground floor and a café on the first floor, is a Grade II* listed building.

St Edmund's Church is located in Crickhowell, in southeastern Powys, Wales. Built in the early 14th century, the church is dedicated to Saint Edmund the king and martyr. It has been known by this name from its establishment in 1303. In a will dated 1576 in the register office at Brecon, it is termed the parish of Saint Edmund. It is a Grade II* listed building.

Crickhowell Rural District was a rural district in Brecknockshire (or Breconshire), Wales from 1894 to 1974, covering an area in the south-east of the county around the small town of Crickhowell.

Upper House, the Malt House and Little Malt House, form three elements of a former large mansion, Rumsey Place, on Standard Street, Crickhowell, Powys, Wales. They date from the 17th and early 18th centuries. All three buildings, a granary, and a gazebo which stands on the garden of the Malt House, have Grade II* historic listings. A further granary and a pigsty are listed at Grade II.

Crickhowell Castle (Welsh: Castell Crucywel) is a Grade I listed building in Crickhowell, Wales, now largely ruined. An alternative name, "Alisby's Castle", is sometimes used; this is thought to be after a former governor of the castle, Gerald Alisby.

Crickhowell High School is an English medium co-educational secondary school situated in the town of Crickhowell in the county of Powys, Wales, within the Brecon Beacons National Park. The school was built to meet the needs of the growing community and opened as a new school in 1983. It now has about 920 pupils, but was only originally intended to hold 550. The school attempted to meet the potential overcrowding issues by expanding the main building, installing new IT devices throughout the complex, and building a larger, more modern "6th Form block" for the 180 students studying A/AS levels.

Crickhowell Bridge is an 18th-century bridge that spans the River Usk in Crickhowell, Powys, Wales. The main A4077 road to Gilwern crosses it. The bridge is claimed to be the longest stone bridge in Wales at over 128 metres (420 ft). It is a Grade I listed building and a Scheduled monument.

Llangattock (Welsh: Llangatwg) is a village, community and electoral ward in the Brecon Beacons National Park in Powys, Wales. It lies in the Usk Valley just across the river from the town of Crickhowell. The Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal passes through the village en route between Brecon and Pontypool. It is in the historic county of Breconshire. According to the 2011 UK Census the population of the community was 999, with the village itself having a population of around 660.Llangattock elects a community council of ten members who, amongst other things, are responsible for the running of Llangattock cemetery. Llangattock electoral ward also elects one county councillor to Powys County Council.

Crug Hywel is an Iron Age Celtic hillfort, with a clearly visible earth and stone ditch and rampart. Crug Hywel is approached by a couple of public footpaths across farmland from Crickhowell and Llanbedr and visited by the Beacons Way. It lies within an area designated as open country over which the public have the right to roam. The name is sometimes given to the flat-topped hill itself, which is also called Table Mountain in English. Located at the southern edge of the Black Mountains in south-east Wales, it rises to 451 m above sea level, from the southern flank of Pen Cerrig-calch (701 m), and overlooks the town of Crickhowell, whose name derives from Crug Hywel.The Welsh name Mynydd y Begwn is also used for this summit. As a result, it has been suggested that the name Crug Hywel (which means 'Hywel's mound') may originally have referred to the castle mound in Crickhowell.

Cwrt-y-Gollen ("Hazel Court") is a British Army training base, 2 miles (3 km) south-east of Crickhowell and just north of the A40 road and the River Usk, in southeastern Powys, Wales.
