KANG MINCHUL Restaurant (Korean: 강민철 레스토랑) is a fine dining restaurant in Seoul, South Korea. It serves French cuisine. It received one Michelin Star from 2023 through 2024. The owner-chef and namesake of the restaurant is Kang Minchul. Kang studied cooking in Korea until university. At age 24, he worked in hotels and restaurants in the United States. He then moved to France. He reportedly received training from French chefs such as Joël Robuchon, Alain Ducasse, and Pierre Gagnaire. A kimchi dish that he created reportedly appeared on the menu of a three-starred Pierre Gagnaire restaurant in France. He returned to South Korea in the early 2020s and started his restaurant. The restaurant's menu is reportedly not fixed. The restaurant is also reportedly small, and serves three tables at a time by 2024; it originally served only one table at a time.

Muni (Korean: 무니; Japanese: 無二, lit. 'no two alike') is a fine dining restaurant in Seoul, South Korea. It specializes in Japanese cuisine, specifically kaiseki (multi-course meals). It first opened in 2018. It received one Michelin Star from 2021 through 2024. Its head chef is Kim Dong-wook. Kim fell in love with Japanese cuisine in high school, after reading the Japanese manga Shōta no Sushi. He graduated from the Hattori Nutrition College. He began working in the kaiseki restaurant Kikunoi, under owner-chef Yoshihiro Murata. He also studied to become a sake sommelier: a kikizakeshi. According to a 2021 article, the restaurant reportedly attempts to emphasize seasonality of ingredients. The menu reportedly changes every month, and there is no fixed signature dish. The restaurant serves an array of dishes from Japanese cuisine.

Kwonsooksoo (Korean: 권숙수) is a fine dining Korean restaurant in Seoul, South Korea. The restaurant opened in July 2015, and received two Michelin stars in the 2017 Michelin guide. It has maintained that rating through 2023. The head chef is Kwon Woo-joong (권우중). Kwon reportedly learned cooking from his mother. His family reportedly cooked extensively at home; they reportedly made 20 types of kimchi at once. The restaurant's cuisine takes inspiration from Korean royal court cuisine. Dishes are served in Korean ceramics.

Mingles (Korean: 밍글스) is a fine dining restaurant in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam District, Seoul, South Korea. It first opened in 2014. It serves contemporary Korean cuisine mixed with elements of other cuisines. and It received two Michelin stars for 2024. The restaurant was named the best restaurant in Korea by Asia's 50 Best Restaurants in 2024. A 2018 list by The Guardian ranked it in the top 10 best restaurants in Seoul.

Sushi Matsumoto (Korean: 스시 마츠모토) is a fine dining restaurant in Seoul, South Korea. It specializes in sushi, of Japanese cuisine. It received one Michelin Star from 2022 through 2024. According to a 2021 article, the restaurant was led by chef Matsumoto Mizuho. Matsumoto worked at the restaurant Kyubey in Japan, as well as in the Westin Chosun Seoul's Sushi Cho. He became head chef of Sushi Matsumoto in 2011.

L'Amitié (lit. 'friendship'; Korean: 라미띠에) is a fine dining restaurant in Seoul, South Korea. It specializes in French cuisine and first opened in 1999. It received one Michelin star for 2018 (the first year the guide was offered in Seoul) through 2024.

Muoki (Korean: 무오키) is a fine dining restaurant in Seoul, South Korea. It received its first Michelin star in 2019. Its name means "oak tree" in Afrikaans. Its executive chef is James Park (박무현; Bak Muhyeon). Park worked in a number of international restaurants, including in the Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C., in The Fat Duck in London, and in Quay in Sydney. Park previously worked in The Test Kitchen in Cape Town, South Africa for five years. Over time, he reportedly became no. 2 in the kitchen. He also worked in a French restaurant and led a food lab in a restaurant on Jeju Island in South Korea. He returned to Seoul in 2017, and opened Muoki. The restaurant reportedly explores creating dishes using ingredients in multiple different ways. The restaurant was reviewed positively by Lee Geon-gu (이건구) of The Sommelier Times in 2022.

Kojima (Korean: 코지마; Japanese: 小島, lit. 'small island') is a sushi restaurant in Seoul, South Korea. As of 2023, it has two Michelin stars. The restaurant first opened in 2014. The head chef is Park Kyung-jae. Park was born on the small island Uido (the restaurant's name refers to his home island). His father was a fisherman, and he grew up eating much fresh seafood. He moved to Seoul in 1989, just after graduating from high school without knowing what career path he would take. By chance, his friend worked in a Japanese restaurant, so he joined his friend. From then on, he worked in the industry. He worked in Ariake in the Josun Hotel and Sushi Chohee at Hotel Shilla. Sushi chefs serve sushi to guests directly on the surface of the bar; the bar is constructed from 500-year-old hinoki wood from Japan. Park reportedly sources the fish from Garak Market every day. The restaurant is owned by a proprieter, Won Jin (원진).

Exquisine (Korean: 익스퀴진) is a fine dining restaurant in Seoul, South Korea. The restaurant first opened on November 1, 2016. It received one Michelin Star beginning in 2018. Its owner-chef is Jang Kyung-won (장경원). According to a 2019 article, the restaurant has no wait staff; Jang and three other chefs reportedly cook and serve customers in a small and intimate setting. The restaurant is reportedly intentionally laid back, with customers interacting with the chefs closely.

Cheongdam-dong (Korean: 청담동; Hanja: 淸潭洞) is a ward of Gangnam District in Seoul, South Korea. The area is best known in South Korea as an affluent neighborhood populated by a disproportionately high number of high-income individuals and for having some of the most expensive real estate in the country. It is known as an upmarket shopping area, with the main shopping street dubbed Cheongdam Fashion Street. Along with Apgujeong's Rodeo Street in Apgujeong-dong and Garosu-gil in Sinsa-dong, which are connected by the main Apgujeong-ro, they are seen as fashionable and trendsetting destinations.

SMT House (stylized as SMT HOUSE), commonly referred to as SMT Seoul, is a restaurant in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, owned by SM F&B Development, a subsidiary of SM Entertainment. The restaurant has five stories, each of which has different style and concept. The first and second floors offer a space for lunch, deserts and café in the daytime and for Spanish tapas restaurant at night. On the 3rd and 4th floors (which require reservations) diners can order a one course specialty called, "Seoul Tapas Style."

Chungdam High School (Korean: 청담고등학교) is a public high school located in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea. It was opened in 1990.
