Uptown Janesville (formerly Janesville Mall) is an enclosed shopping mall located in Janesville, Wisconsin, United States. Opened in 1973, the mall has more than 68 tenants. The anchor stores are Dick's Sporting Goods, Ulta Beauty, and Kohl's. There are 3 vacant anchor stores that were once Sears, Boston Store, and JCPenney.

The Rock County Fairgrounds, also known as the Rock County 4-H Fairgrounds, is an 18.5 acre fairground located in Janesville, Wisconsin. It is the home of the Rock County 4-H Fair. It served as the home of the Janesville Cubs, a minor league baseball team, from 1941 to 1953.

The James B. Crosby House is a historic house in Janesville, Wisconsin. It was built in the 1850s, and it became a hospital in the 1880s, only to be converted into apartments in the late 1930s. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Joseph A. Craig High School is a public high school located in the city of Janesville, Wisconsin. Craig, a part of the School District of Janesville, has a student enrollment of approximately 1,800. Located on the east side of Janesville, it is named after Joseph A. Craig, who was instrumental in attracting the General Motors Janesville Assembly Plant to the city.

TAGOS Leadership Academy is a project-based charter school in the city of Janesville, Wisconsin. The school, affiliated with the School District of Janesville, is housed in the former Parker Pen Company facility, now known as the Arrow Park Complex. Al Lindau, the Dean of Students, TAGOS Leadership Academy was founded in 2007 by Al Lindau; he served as the Dean of Students at that time. The current Dean of Students is Nic Manogue. The school name, TAGOS, is Greek for "leadership". The name is also an acronym for Tailoring Academics To Guide Our Students.

Rotary Botanical Gardens is a non-profit 20-acre (81,000 m2) botanical garden located in Janesville, Wisconsin that is open to the public.

It is a principal municipality of the Janesville, Wisconsin, Metropolitan Statistical Area and is included in the Madison–Janesville–Beloit, WI Combined Statistical Area. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 65,615.

The Peter Myers Pork Packing Plant and Willard Coleman Building, in Janesville, Wisconsin, United States—also known as Koutsky & Berg—is a packing house that was built in 1851 in Italianate style. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.It consists of two original properties, now three buildings, on North Main Street: 117 North Main Street - Willard Coleman, Painter (The Bear Trap Saloon), which was built c.1858-60, was renovated c. 1870–75, and modified 1900–02. It is a two-story red brick building with a cast iron front. 119-123 North Main Street - The Peter Myers Pork Packing Plant, now split between 119 North Main Street - Legal Action of Wisconsin and 121 North Main Street - The Main Waye - Women's Apparel and 123 North Main Street - Midwest Prosthetic-Orthotic Center. This was built c. 1857 and c. 1868. It is a two-story complex of two buildings, with Italianate architecture.

Court Street Methodist Church, which for a time also was known as Rock County Appliance and TV, is a historic church at 36 S. Main Street in Janesville, Wisconsin, United States. It was built in 1868 and was renovated by Masonic organization during 1905–1906. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. Its NRHP nomination states:The Court Street Methodist Church is one of the most unusual commercial buildings in downtown Janesville. It is significant not only for the quality of its architecture, as the best preserved of two remaining Second Empire commercial buildings in the city, with a fine two-story raised sanctuary, but also for its unique function as a combined commercial and religious building, which represented a Victorian bringing-together of worship and commerce. It was constructed with retail store fronts on the ground story, and the sanctuary on the second and third floors. This arrangement was not unlike that utilized for the four story Methodist Church Block in Chicago, built on the southeast corner of Clark and Washington Streets in 1872 and razed for a new 21 story edifice in 1923. This Gothic style successor continues the combination arrangement to this day; its sanctuary is perched 20 floors up on top of a small skyscraper, and surmounted by an eight story spire. It is 50 by 138 feet (15 m × 42 m) in plan, designed in a restrained Second Empire style.

The Lappin-Hayes Block is a 4-story commercial building in Janesville, Wisconsin, started in 1855 and expanded in 1899. It housed a public hall called Lappin's Hall and the early offices of Northwestern Mutual Life. In 1976 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

The Janesville Public Library in Janesville, Wisconsin is a large Neoclassical-styled structure built in 1902. It was one of the first Carnegie libraries in the state, while also supported by local businessman F.S. Eldred. In 1981 the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
