The Alexandra, commonly known as the Alex, is a theatre on Suffolk Queensway in Birmingham, England.

The Orion Building is a 90-metre (295 ft) tall high rise residential building on Navigation Street, Birmingham 5, England. Construction of the tower began in 2004 with demolition of the previous building on the site, and was completed in 2007. As part of the development, the original façades of some of the previous buildings have been retained and incorporated into the lowrise sections of the complex. The complex consists of a 28-storey tower with five basement floors. It includes the city's first penthouse which was sold for £1.65 million. The fourth and final phase of the building, being marketed as 'Sirius', is nearing completion.

10 Holloway Circus (also referred to as the Holloway Circus Tower or Beetham Tower) is a 400-foot (122 m) tall mixed-use skyscraper in Birmingham city centre, England. It was originally named after the developers, Beetham Organisation, and was designed by Ian Simpson and built by Laing O'Rourke. The entire development covers an area of 7,000 square feet (650 m2). It is the second tallest building in Birmingham and the 74th tallest building in the United Kingdom.

Birmingham New Street Signal Box is a railway signal box in Birmingham, central England, situated on the corner of Brunel and Navigation Streets and at the west end of the platforms of Birmingham New Street railway station. Opened on 3 July 1966, the brutalist structure is a grade II listed building for its architectural value and a prominent city centre landmark. It closed on 24 December 2022.

Henry's Blueshouse was a regular live music night that ran in Birmingham, England from 1968 to 1970, promoted by Jim Simpson through his Big Bear Music company.

St Jude's Church, Birmingham was a parish church in the Church of England in Birmingham.

The Crown is a former pub on the corner of Station Street and Hill Street, Birmingham. It has been called the "birthplace of heavy metal", and hosted Black Sabbath's first gig.It was built in 1881, and many bands have been played there including the Who, Status Quo, UB40, Duran Duran, Thin Lizzy, Marc Bolan, Supertramp, Judas Priest and several of Robert Plant's bands before he co-founded Led Zeppelin. The bands played upstairs in what was known as Henry's Blueshouse. It has been empty since 2014 and was given Grade II listed status in March 2024 on the advice of Historic England.

New Street is a street in central Birmingham, England. It is one of the city's principal thoroughfares and shopping streets linking Victoria Square to the Bullring Shopping Centre. It gives its name to New Street railway station, although the station has never had direct access to New Street except via the Grand Central shopping centre through Stephenson Street.

The Chinese Pagoda is a landmark in Birmingham, England. It is a 40-foot (12 m) granite carving of a Chinese pagoda, carved in Fujian, China and donated to the city by the Wing Yip brothers, founder of a local Chinese supermarket chain, in thanks to the city and its people for providing a home for them and their families and for the city's support over the years.The pagoda was erected in 1998 and the surrounding area turned into a Feng Shui garden with a large Taijitu embedded in the pavement.Located in the centre of the Holloway Circus roundabout on the Inner Ring Road, it forms a landmark for the nearby Chinese Quarter of the city and is seen by over 60,000 motorists a day.

The Golden Eagle was a 1930s public house in Birmingham, England, which became known as a venue for live music. The pub stood on Hill Street, in Birmingham City Centre, between Victoria Square and the western end of New Street Station. It closed in January 1984 and was demolished soon afterwards.

The Severn Street Synagogue, founded in 1809 and opened in 1813 as a synagogue in Birmingham, England, is now the Athol Masonic Hall.

The Sentinels are two 90 metre tall residential tower blocks on Holloway Head in Birmingham, England. The two towers, called Clydesdale Tower and Cleveland Tower, are both 31 storeys tall and were part of a major regeneration and council home building scheme following World War II which in the 1960s and 1970s saw the construction of hundreds of tower blocks. Originally built and operated by the City of Birmingham, the buildings were part of a stock transfer from Birmingham local authority to Optima Community Association in 1999, and today the buildings are owned by Citizen housing association (itself an amalgamation of several West Midlands housing associations). The Sentinels were the tallest purely residential tower blocks in the city until the completion of the 102 metre tall skyscraper Bank Tower 2 in 2019. They are also surpassed by the 132 metre tall residential tower known as The Mercian located on Broad Street with 42 floors.
