The German Church is a historic church building in Cumberland, Indiana, on the east side of Indianapolis. It is located on the northeastern corner of the intersection of Washington Street and German Church Road; it gives the latter its name. Sometimes described as a gateway to Cumberland, the building was the subject of a controversy regarding its preservation in the early 21st century.
