The Vokes Theatre, also known as Beatrice Herford's Vokes Theatre, is a 1904 miniature of a London theatre in Wayland, Massachusetts built by and named for Beatrice Herford. The theatre is located on the estate of Herford and her husband, Sidney Hayward.

The Old Connecticut Path was the Native American trail that led westward from the area of Massachusetts Bay to the Connecticut River Valley, the first of the North American trails that led west from the settlements close to the Atlantic seacoast, towards the interior. The earliest colonists of Massachusetts Bay Colony used it, and rendered it wider by driving cattle along it. The old route is still followed, for part of its length, by Massachusetts Route 9 and Massachusetts Route 126.

Reeves Tavern is a historic colonial tavern (now a private residence) in Wayland, Massachusetts. Built in 1762–63, it is one of the town's best preserved examples of an early tavern. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.

The Wayland Center Historic District encompasses the predominantly 19th-century village center of Wayland, Massachusetts. Located at the junction of United States Route 20 and Cochituate Road (Massachusetts Route 27), it includes fifteen well-preserved 19th-century buildings that form one of the best-preserved village centers of that period near Boston. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

Broomstones Curling Club is the largest curling club in the Boston area, with a membership of over 400 active curlers, four sheets, and curling leagues every day of the week during the winter curling season. Broomstones is affiliated with the Grand National Curling Club. A unique feature of the club is its origin by and separate maintenance of three separate curling clubs in the area that combined to share resources, but maintain individual identity for national competition purposes.

Wayland is a town in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States. The town was founded in 1638, and incorporated in 1780 and was originally part of neighboring Sudbury (incorporated 1639). At the 2020 United States census, the population was 13,943.

Wayland station is a former railroad station in Wayland, Massachusetts. Originally operated by the Central Massachusetts Railroad, it was later part of the Boston and Maine Railroad. The MBTA subsidized service at the station beginning in 1965. It was closed in 1971 when service on the Central Mass Branch was terminated due to poor track conditions. Since 1980, The Wayland Depot, a charitable women's consignment craft shop, has operated out of the station, which is now owned by the Town of Wayland. The Wayland Depot's mission includes preservation of the historic station.

The Noyes-Parris House is a historic First Period house located in Wayland, Massachusetts.

Weston Observatory is a geophysical research laboratory of the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Boston College. The Observatory is located in the town of Weston, Massachusetts, about 13 miles (21 km) west of downtown Boston.The Observatory, which has been recording earthquakes since the 1930s, conducts research on earthquakes and related processes, delivers public information after significant earthquakes occur, contributes to earthquake awareness to help reduce the tragic effects of earthquakes, and educates. Weston Observatory houses seismic instruments for the New England Seismic Network (NESN) and for the World-Wide Standardized Seismograph Network (WWSSN), as well as office and lab space and a geophysics library. The Observatory monitors earthquakes around the world, with emphasis on the Northeast United States (and particularly New England), disseminates information pertinent to any seismic events that are recorded, and is also a center for education and public outreach about earthquakes and related phenomena.

The Golden Ball Tavern is a historic tavern, now a museum, located in Weston, Massachusetts. Built in 1768, it is one of the town's finest examples of Late Georgian architecture. It also played a pivotal role in local activities during the American Revolution, due to its Loyalist tavern keeper. The tavern was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, and was included in Weston's Boston Post Road Historic District in 1983.

The Hopestill Bent Tavern is a historic First Period tavern (now a private residence) in Wayland, Massachusetts, United States. The oldest portion of this 2+1⁄2-story building was built on this site c. 1710, and consisted of two rooms with a central chimney. Around 1800 a second First Period structure was moved to the site and attached to the first, giving the building most of its present form. The building is also unusual for the period in that some of its rooms have no fireplace, and that the upstairs exhibits evidence of significant reuse of older building materials, a practice that was generally restricted to the attic or basement. The building exhibits modest Federal styling, in keeping with the c. 1800 alterations. Its builder and first proprietor was Hopestill Bent (1672–1725). Hopestill Bent fought in King William's War (one of the French and Indian Wars). Hopestill Bent was the great-grandfather of Silas Bent Jr. and great-great-grandfather of Charles Bent, the trader and first territorial Governor of New Mexico during the Mexican-American WarThe building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
