Paya Lebar Office Centre

The Masjid Wak Tanjong is a mosque located in the Geylang township near Paya Lebar in the East Region, Singapore. It was established in 1837 by Wak Tanjong, a foreign Muslim merchant from the city of Malacca, who is also the namesake of the mosque.

Paya Lebar MRT station is a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) interchange station on the East West line (EWL) and Circle line (CCL) in Geylang, Singapore. Despite the name, this station is not located in Paya Lebar but rather along Paya Lebar Road, near the junction with Sims Avenue. It is located among the developments of the Paya Lebar Central commercial hub and near the Geylang Serai district. The station opened on 4 November 1989 as part of the MRT eastern line extension to Tanah Merah station. The EWL station exterior has the characteristic dome-shaped segmented roof also seen on other elevated EWL stations. The station later interchanges with the Circle line on 17 April 2010, and was the first MRT station to serve both an elevated line and an underground line.

Tanjong Katong Complex is a shopping complex in Geylang Serai, Singapore. Constructed in 1982, the complex was the first air-conditioned shopping complex built by the Housing and Development Board and has since become known for servicing the Malay community in the area.

The Former Queen's Theatre is located at the Geylang Road, opposite Lorong 41 road. The theatre had been one of the main entertainment places in Geylang from 1930 to 1982. The building was named Wembley Cinema from 1930 to 1933, Ritz Cinema from 1933 to 1939, and Queen's Theatre from 1939 until it was closed in 1982. The front facade of the building is now conserved and becomes part of the GrandLink Square.

The Institute for Adult Learning Singapore (IAL) (Chinese: 成人学习学院) is an autonomous institute within the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). IAL provides training for adult educator (or AE) and undertakes research in adult learning within the Training and Adult Education industry.

Foo Hai Ch'an Monastery (Chinese: 福海禪寺), is a Buddhist monastery in Singapore. The foundation was originally set up by Venerable Hong Zong of Taiwan. The present premises are located, adjacent to Sri Sivan Temple, in front of Paya Lebar MRT station, exit C at Geylang East Avenue 2, Singapore.

Sri Sivan Temple (Tamil: ஸ்ரீ சிவன் கோவில்) is a Hindu temple in Singapore for the god Shiva. The temple was originally located in Potong Pasir from where it was moved three more times before finally coming to the present location, adjacent to Foo Hai Ch'an Buddhist Monastery, in front of Paya Lebar MRT station exit C at Geylang East Avenue 2.

Madrasah Al-Ma'arif Al-Islamiah is an all-girls' Islamic school, commonly known as madrasah, in Singapore. Al-Ma'arif has students at primary, secondary and pre-university levels. It is one of six full-time Islamic madrasahs in Singapore. Unlike most of the other madrasahs, Al-Ma'arif's curriculum places equal emphasis on Islamic religious studies and secular subjects from the Singapore Ministry of Education curriculum.Like other madrasahs in Singapore, Al-Ma'arif has a Management Committee whose members are appointed every two years by the Ministry of Education in consultation with the Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS).

Certis is one of the five commercial auxiliary police forces authorized to provide armed security officers to government organizations as well as private companies or individuals in Singapore. Certis originated from the Guard and Escort unit of the Singapore Police Force (SPF), which was separated from the SPF as the Commercial and Industrial Security Corporation (CISCO) in 1972 as a statutory board with a monopoly over most areas of the local private armed security industry. From 1 June 2005, the statutory board was dissolved and Cisco Security Pte Ltd was formed upon its corporatisation as a fully owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings, and inaugurated on 5 July 2005. The abbreviation of the former statutory board, "CISCO", was retained due to its reputation in the local market. The company was renamed as Certis CISCO Security Pte Ltd on 13 September 2007 and as Certis in 2018. As the oldest Auxiliary Police Force with a monopoly over most of the private armed security sector in Singapore for 33 years, Certis maintains a visible presence in many key establishments, including the private residences of VVIPs. They were deployed in major events such as the Singapore 2006 IMF Meetings, the New Year Countdown at Marina Bay in 2007 and 2008, the Chingay Parade and the Thaipusam processions. They also continue to dominate some services such as the transportation of valuables, most visibly in the form of delivering cash to automated teller machines.

Masjid Khadijah (Jawi: مسجد خديجة; Khadijah Mosque) is a mosque located in Geylang within the Central Region, Singapore. It was built in 1920 and contains the headquarters of the Religious Rehabilitation Group (RRG), a society dedicated to combating religious extremism. The mosque is built under a waqf scheme.

Kong Hwa School (abbreviation: KHS; Chinese: traditional Chinese: 光華學校; simplified Chinese: 光华学校; pinyin: Guānghuá Xuéxiào), is a co-educational primary school in Singapore. It is one of the six Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan schools, along with Tao Nan School, Ai Tong School, Chongfu Primary School, Nan Chiau Primary School and Nan Chiau High School. Kong Hwa School has been offering the Bi-Cultural Enrichment Programme (BiCEP) since 2007, which encourages students to be bilingual. The school is currently situated along Guillemard Road.
