Pearl Bank Apartments (Chinese: 珍珠苑; pinyin: Zhēnzhū yuàn) was a high-rise private residential building on Pearl's Hill in Outram, near the Chinatown area of Singapore. As the tallest and densest residential building in Singapore when completed in June 1976, Pearl Bank Apartments was one of Singapore's pioneers of high-rise high-density living and influenced urban development in Singapore and other cities across Southeast Asia.

Pearl's Hill City Park is a 9 hectares city park in Singapore built around a reservoir on top of Pearl's Hill. It is located behind Outram Park MRT station. Entry is from Pearl Bank, Pearl's Hill Terrace, Pearl's Hill Road and Chin Swee Road.

Pearl's Hill, briefly Mount Stamford, is a small hill in Singapore. Located in the vicinity of Chinatown, it is one of the few surviving hills in the city area.

Rediffusion Singapore (Chinese: 丽的呼声), started in 1949, was the first cable-transmitted radio station in Singapore. It was a Singapore subsidiary of the Broadcast Relay Services (Overseas) Ltd. It was also Singapore's only subscription radio service. Due to decreasing subscription, it closed in 2012. On closure, a former Rediffusion Singapore deejay, Eva Chang Mei Hsiang, bought the radio station and in 2013 re-opened the radio station as an online radio station.Rediffusion Singapore was founded in 1949 as a result of the success encountered in radio broadcasting in Singapore, particularly in the post-World War II era. The cable radio service was seen as a remedy against poor reception which affected certain housing estates until then. Rediffusion Singapore was operated by Overseas Rediffusion, a subsidiary of the Rediffusion broadcasting business based in the United Kingdom, from the former's foundation until the late 1980s, when the British-owned Rediffusion conglomerate was broken up. Since 2000, Rediffusion Singapore provided digital radio services in Singapore. On 15 April 2005, the Media Development Authority issued a five-year licence to Rediffusion Singapore for a subscriber-only Digital Audio Broadcasting service, making it the world's first.Rediffusion went off-air on 30 April 2012 but it resumed broadcasting on 11 November 2013 using the internet to transmit their programs.

Qi Tian Gong (simplified Chinese: 齐天宫; traditional Chinese: Qí Tiān Gōng), commonly referred to as the Tiong Bahru Monkey God Temple, is a Taoist temple in Tiong Bahru, Singapore.Reportedly the first temple in the country dedicated to the Journey to the West character Sun Wukong (also known as the Monkey King), Qi Tian Gong was established in 1920. It was originally located in an attap dwelling but relocated to a rented shophouse at 44 Eng Hoon Street in 1938. In 1985, the temple's trustees bought over the shophouse. The temple houses more than ten statues of the Monkey King, some of which date back to the 1910s.As part of the temple's yearly festivities, devotees will walk around Tiong Bahru with Monkey King idols. Joss paper will also be burnt while the burning area is purified with a snake-headed whip. Until 2018, the temple also had a medium who would be possessed by the Monkey God.

Outram Secondary School (OSS) is a co-educational government secondary school in Outram, Singapore. Founded in 1906 as Outram Road School, then Outram School by gazette notification, Outram Secondary School is one of the oldest schools in Singapore. It is the only government school in Singapore with a swimming pool.It educates deaf students who do not need to use sign language to communicate.

Outram Park MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) interchange station on the East West line and North East line located on the boundary of Bukit Merah and Outram planning areas, Singapore, near the junction of Outram Road, Eu Tong Sen Street and New Bridge Road. It is the nearest MRT station to the Singapore General Hospital and is also close to the Police Cantonment Complex. It is also located near Singapore General Hospital, the Health Promotion Board, Pearl's Hill City Park and Pinnacle@Duxton. Outram Park station is slated to become a triple-line interchange in 2022, joining Dhoby Ghaut MRT station and Marina Bay MRT station when Stage 3 of the Thomson–East Coast line opens.

Jiak Chuan Road (Chinese: 若铨路; pinyin: Ruò quán lù) is a two-way road in Chinatown within the Outram Planning Area in Singapore. The road links Teck Lim Road to Keong Saik Road, it is home to several budget hotels and rows of shophouses. The place was formerly part of the Keong Saik Road red light district, home to numerous brothels.

The Duke–NUS Medical School (Duke–NUS) is a graduate medical school in Singapore. The school was set up in April 2005 as the Duke–NUS Graduate Medical School, Singapore's second medical school, after the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, and before the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. It is a collaboration between Duke University in the United States and the National University of Singapore in Singapore. Duke-NUS follows the American model of post-baccalaureate medical education, in which students begin their medical studies after earning a bachelor’s degree. Students are awarded degrees from both Duke University School of Medicine and the National University of Singapore.

Bukit Pasoh Road (Chinese: 武吉巴梳路: Malay: Jalan Bukit Pasoh) is a road in Tanjong Pagar within the Outram Planning Area of Singapore. The road starts from Neil Road which is one way, but becomes two ways, when the road forks out into two parts, with one becoming Teo Hong Road, with both roads ending at New Bridge Road. The road is mainly lined with conserved shophouses and houses a high-end boutique hotel known as the New Majestic Hotel.
