Ellinor Village was the largest family resort in Florida in the 1940s and 1950s. It was built in Ormond Beach, Florida, by Byron Ellinor and his brother Merrill, and comprised 660 “cottages” and apartments. Ellinor Village resort opened on May 1, 1949, with triplexes, duplexes and single-family units for rent. The resort was a real family destination with plenty of activities for kids and adults alike; however, Jews were not welcome, or "for restricted clientele", as the brochure explained in euphemistic terms. Ellinor Village had its own shopping center and amusement park and was just steps from the beach. In 1951, Merrill Ellinor purchased what is today the golf course at Oceanside Country Club. The golf course was originally part of the Ormond Hotel (owned by John Anderson) and adjacent to John D. Rockefeller's winter home; "The Casements". In 1954 the Mrs. America contest was held at Ellinor Village, which attracted nationwide publicity. The opening of the Rockefeller Memorial Bridge was also in 1954. It has since been replaced by the Granada Bridge which was built in 1983. Today the Ormond Hotel is gone; the Ormond Heritage condominiums now sits on the site. The original cupola from the hotel sits in a riverside park across from the condos. The history of Ellinor Village is rich, and the duplexes and triplexes that the Ellinors built have been modernized and renovated into beautiful homes and rental units. Ellinor Village was sold to Milton Pepper, a local developer in the late 1950s. Pepper was also the man who bought the Ormond Hotel and then built the Ormond Heritage after the city of Ormond Beach would not let him restore the historic hotel. Pepper sold Ellinor Village in the late 1970s and it became a housing development.

The Ormond Fire House is a historic building located at 160 East Granada Boulevard in Ormond Beach, Florida. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 15, 2010.

St. James’ Episcopal Church is an historic church located at 38 South Halifax Drive in Ormond Beach, Florida.

The Nathan F. Cobb was a three-masted schooner named after the shipbuilder and founder of Cobb's Salvaging Company whose many rescues of stranded ships help lead to the formation of the United States Life-Saving Service. Despite its namesake's history of shipwreck rescues, the Nathan F. Cobb capsized in heavy seas on 1 December 1896 en route from Brunswick, Georgia to New York with a cargo of timber and cross ties. The cook and a shipmate drowned when they were swept overboard in violent seas. The crew righted the vessel by removing the three masts and they drifted for four days until they became grounded on a sandbar off Ormond Beach, Florida. Rescue attempts led to the drowning of volunteer Fred Waterhouse, whose body was never recovered, but no other crew members were lost. A plaque commemorates Fred Waterhouse's rescue efforts. The Cobb Cottage, a structure built using materials salvaged from the ship, is part of Ormond Beach's Historic Trail.

Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens is in Ormond Beach, Volusia County in central Florida. Exhibitions include artwork from regional Florida artists and national artists as well as an annual student exhibition, and programs for veterans. The art museum includes "spiritual oil paintings" by Malcolm Fraser and a botanical garden that is home to the 1885 Emmons Cottage. The museum and gardens were founded as a memorial to veterans of World War I and World War II, and there is an American flag and monument to soldiers who served in World War I as well as a bronze plaque inside the Museum listing Ormond Beach residents who served in World War II, including an honor roll recognizing those who died in the war. There are also sculptures in the Memorial Gardens dedicated to American soldiers who fought in the Korean War and Vietnam War.

The Casements is a mansion in Ormond Beach, Florida, U.S., famous for being the winter residence of American oil magnate John D. Rockefeller. It is currently owned by the city of Ormond Beach and is used as a cultural center and park. It is located on a barrier island within the city limits, overlooking the Halifax River, which is now part of the Florida Intracoastal Waterway.

The Ormond Hotel (also known as The Flagler Hotel) was a historic hotel in Ormond Beach, Florida, United States. It was located at 15 East Granada Boulevard.

The Anderson–Price Memorial Library Building (also known as the Ormond Beach Woman's Club) is a historic library in Ormond Beach, Florida, United States. It is located at 42 North Beach Street, and was named for the City of Ormond Beach's co-founders John Anderson and Joseph D. Price. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. Now run by the Ormond Beach Historical Trust, this building is the site of many events throughout the year.

The John Anderson Lodge was an historic home built around 1886 at 71 Orchard Lane in Ormond Beach, Florida, United States. It was built for Ormond Beach promoter John Anderson (1853–1911), who was one of the first owners of the Ormond Hotel. The lodge was originally used by employees of the hotel and to host parties. In its later years it became a single family residence. The lodge was built on pilings and featured vertical palm tree wall construction.

Talahloka is a historic site in Ormond Beach, Florida, United States. It is located at 19 Orchard Lane. On September 6, 1989, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Rowallan is a historic site in Ormond Beach, Florida, United States. It is located at 253 John Anderson Highway. On October 6, 1988, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

The Granada Bridge is a high-clearance bridge that spans the Halifax River and Intracoastal Waterway, linking the mainland and beach peninsula parts of Ormond Beach, Volusia County, Florida. Granada Bridge carries four lanes of State Road 40 and Granada Blvd. The Casements, along with City Hall Plaza, Fortunato Park, and Riverbridge Park reside at the four corners of Ormond Beach's Granada Bridge, which give their collective name to the annual "Four Corners Festival" in Ormond Beach.In September 1999, the bridge was crossed by about 24,000 cars every day. By January 2007, that number increased to approximately 35,500 vehicles per day.
