Takeshita Station (竹下駅, Takeshita-eki) is a railway station on the Kagoshima Main Line, operated by JR Kyushu in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan.

Higashi-Hie Station (東比恵駅, Higashi-Hie-eki) is a train station located in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka in Japan. The station's symbol mark is Hie's initials "ひ" looks like earthenware, because Hie remains, and "ひ"'s each edges circle mean Hakata and Airport.

Hakata Station (博多駅, Hakata-eki) is a major railway station in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka, Japan. It is the largest and busiest railway terminal in Kyushu, and is a gateway to other cities in Kyushu for travelers coming from Honshu by rail travel. The San'yō Shinkansen from Osaka ends at this station. The station was rebuilt in 2011. The main building was demolished and a new, larger station building, as well as office buildings and new platforms, was constructed. The station reconstruction project was initiated specifically for the Kyushu Shinkansen extension from Hakata to Shin-Yatsushiro Station which continues southward through its existing route to Kagoshima-Chūō Station. The new station building has a Hankyu Department Store, its first branch store in Kyushu, as a tenant, as well as other first-in-Kyushu branch retailers including Tokyu Hands.

Fukuoka Daiichi High School (福岡第一高等学校, Fukuoka Daiichi Kōtōgakkō) is a secondary school located in Fukuoka, on the Japanese island of Kyushu. The school's Department for International Education is well known for its Tsuzuki International Scholarship/Exchange Program which allows Japanese and overseas students to live and study alongside each other in the Fukuoka Daiichi High School Guest House. The establishment of the school was approved by Fukuoka Prefecture in April 1956.The Tsuzuki International Scholarship Program (都築国際奨学金制度, Tsuzuki Kokusai Shōgakukin Seido) is a scholarship allowing secondary school students to live and study alongside Japanese students in the Fukuoka Daiichi High School Guest House for girls, and Troubadour for boys, a dormitory primarily for the baseballers, in Fukuoka, Japan. The program is administered by the Department for International Education of the Fukuoka Daiichi High School.

Sumiyoshi-jinja (住吉神社) is the Japanese Shinto shrine at Hakata in Fukuoka Prefecture on the island of Kyushu.

Daiichi University of Pharmacy (第一薬科大学, Daiichi yakka daigaku) is a private university in Fukuoka, Fukuoka, Japan, established in 1960 and contributes to wide variety of medical research within Japan. It is part of the Tsuzuki Educational Group.

Rakusui-en (楽水園) is a garden in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka, Japan. It was originally built in 1906 for Shimozawa Zenemon Chikamasa, a Hakata merchant. In 1995, Fukuoka City overhauled the structure and reopened it as a Japanese garden where visitors can experience a tea ceremony; with four tea rooms (two of which are available for use by general visitors) it is often used for tea ceremonies and related training.

Minami-ku (南区) is one of the seven wards of Fukuoka City, Japan. As of 2004, it had a population of 247,913 people and an area of 30.98 km2. As of 2016, the population had increased to 255,000 people with 8,200 per km2. Its name literally means "south ward." It is bordered by the central, Hakata, Jonan, and Sawara wards of Fukuoka city, and also by the cities of Nakagawa and Kasuga. Sasabaru Station within the ward is on the JR Kagoshima main line. It also has three stations on the Tenjin Ōmuta Line.

Kyushu Institute of Design (九州芸術工科大学; Kyūshū Geijutsu Kōka Daigaku, KID) in Fukuoka, Japan, is one of Japan's prestigious national universities and was founded in April, 1968. The university combines the disciplines of Architecture, Industrial Design, Visual Communication Design, Acoustic Design and Art and Information Design. In October, 2003, Kyushu Institute of Design became Kyushu University's Graduate School of Design. Until 2005, however, all KID graduates have been issued diplomas from Kyushu Institute of Design.

Hakata-ku (博多区) is a ward of the city of Fukuoka in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. Many of Fukuoka Prefecture and Fukuoka City's principal government, commercial, retail and entertainment establishments are located in the district. Hakata-ku is also the location of Fukuoka's main train station, Hakata Station, Fukuoka Airport and the Hakata Port international passenger ship terminal.

Ōhashi Station (大橋駅, Ōhashi-eki) is a train station located in Minami-ku, Fukuoka. The station opened on April 12, 1924.
