The Palacio de Torre Tagle is a building built during the colonial era of Peru that currently serves as the main headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru. It is located in the Jirón Ucayali in the historic center of Lima, two blocks southeast of the Plaza Mayor de Lima.It comprises a built area of 1699 m². The materials used in the construction of the Palacio de Torre Tagle were brought from Spain, Panama and other Central American countries.

The Casa Goyeneche, also known as the Palacio de Goyeneche, the Casa Cavero or Casa Rada, is an 18th-century historical building located at Jirón Ucayali, part of the historic centre of Lima, Peru. The 959.20 m2 two-storey building is named after the family that formerly owned it.

The National Library of Peru (Spanish: Biblioteca Nacional del Perú) is the national library of Peru, located in Lima. It is the country's oldest and most important library. Like the majority of Peruvian libraries, it is a non-circulating library. It has two branches. The old building is on Abancay Avenue (Lima District) and the modern building is on Javier Prado Avenue (San Borja District). Both are open to the public.

The Museum of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (Spanish: Museo del Banco Central de Reserva del Perú, MUCEN), known also as the BCRP Museum or simply Central Museum (Spanish: Museo Central), is an archaeological, numismatic and artistic museum of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru, located at the corners of Lampa and Ucayali streets, in the historic centre of Lima, Peru.

Simon Bolivar, also known as General Bolivar, is a bronze equestrian statue of Simón Bolívar by Adamo Tadolini. There are three casts. The original is located in the Plaza Bolívar in Lima, the first copy is in the Plaza Bolívar in Caracas and the second copy is in United Nations Plaza in San Francisco, California. The statue in Lima, which was made in Italy in the 1850s, is the oldest of the three. It was cast in Munich and the replica in Caracas was cast by the same foundry after the sculptor's death. The copy in San Francisco was engineered by Miriam Gandica Mora, cast by Victor Hugo Barrenchea-Villegas and dedicated in December 1984.

The Basilica Metropolitan Cathedral of Lima and Primate of Peru, otherwise Lima Metropolitan Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic cathedral located in the Plaza Mayor of downtown Lima, Peru. This third and current Cathedral of Lima was built between 1602 and 1797. It is dedicated to St John, Apostle and Evangelist.

The Museum of Congress and the Inquisition (Spanish: Museo del Congreso y la inquisición), also known as the Monumental Museum of the Inquisition and Congress (Spanish: Museo Monumental de la Inquisición y del Congreso), is a museum located at the former headquarters of the Tribunal of the Holy Office of the Inquisition in the neighbourhood of Barrios Altos, part of the historic centre of Lima, Peru. Located at the fifth block of Jirón Junín, next to the Plaza Bolívar, it is dedicated to the histories of both the Tribunal and the Congress of Peru.

The Casa Arenas Loayza is a historic residence in the Cercado de Lima, Peru. Located in the historic centre of Lima, it forms part of the Cultural heritage of Peru. It is located a block away from the Government Palace.

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Lima (Latin: Archidioecesis Limana) is part of the Roman Catholic Church in Peru which enjoys full communion with the Holy See. The Archdiocese was founded as the Diocese of Lima on 14 May 1541. The diocese was raised to the level of a metropolitan archdiocese by Pope Paul III on 12 February 1546. One of its archbishops was the saint Torribio Mogrovejo.The suffragan dioceses are: Callao, Carabayllo, Chosica, Huacho, Ica, Lurín, and (Territorial Prelature) Yauyos. From 1999 to 2019 the Archbishop of Lima was Juan Luis Cipriani Thorne, made Cardinal in 2001. The Archbishop's Palace of Lima is the headquarters of the archdiocese.

The Casa de Pilatos, also known as the Casa Esquivel y Jarava, is a building located in front of the Basilica and Convent of San Francisco in the historic centre of Lima, which currently functions as the de facto headquarters of the Constitutional Court. It was declared Cultural heritage of Peru. Highlights include its stone doorway, the only one of its kind in the city, the two-section hallway and the imperial staircase, which separates the main patio from the backyard, placed in the central axis of the house.

The Archbishop's Palace of Lima, the capital of Peru, is the residence of the Archbishop of Lima, and the administrative headquarters of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Lima. It is located on the Plaza Mayor of Lima, in the Historic Centre of Lima.

The St. James Cathedral (Spanish: Catedral de Santiago) Also Moyobamba Cathedral Is the main Catholic church of the Prelature of Moyobamba and of the Region of San Martín, is in the Center of Moyobamba a city of the South American country of Peru. The Moyobamba Cathedral occupies the north side of the Moyobamba Plaza de Armas, in Jirón Callao, on the corner of Pedro Canga. Formerly occupied the north-east side of the square, where it was its real location, but because of the earthquake that struck the city was built in the current location, and in the old cathedral was built a monument dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
