Edgardo Rebagliati Martins National Hospital (Spanish: Hospital Nacional Edgardo Rebagliati Martins), formerly known as the Central Hospital of Lima (Spanish: Hospital Central de Lima) and as the Employee Hospital (Spanish: Hospital del Empleado) is a Level IV (category III-1) public hospital in Jesús María District, Lima, Peru. Named after its promoter, Edgardo Rebagliati, it is the most important social security hospital complex in Peru.

Heroes of Independence Park (Spanish: Parque Próceres de la Independencia), originally known as Matamula Forest (Spanish: Bosque Matamula), is a public park next to Salaverry Avenue in Jesús María District, Lima.

Jesús María is one of the most centrally located districts of Lima, Peru. It is an upper class, high-density district and it usually ranks in the top districts with the best quality of life in Peru with an HDI of 0.8372 (2019), only behind the districts of La Molina and Lince. Jesús María is located 103 meters above sea level and bordered by the districts of Pueblo Libre and Breña District on the west, downtown Lima on the north and east, Lince District on the southeast, and San Isidro and Magdalena del Mar on the south. Until 1963, when it was made into a separate district, Jesús María was attached to Lima District.

The Natural History Museum (Museo de Historia Natural) in Lima, is Peru's most important museum of natural history. It was established in 1918 and belongs to the National University of San Marcos.

The Medicinal Botanical Garden of Lima (Spanish: Jardín botánico de Plantas Medicinales de Lima) is a botanical garden for medicinal plants in Jesús María District, Lima, Peru. It is located next to the headquarters of the Ministry of Health, with another garden located at Chorrillos District.

Universidad del Pacifico (UP) is a private university in the Jesús María District of Lima, Peru.It was established in 1962 by a group of Peruvian entrepreneurs supported by the Society of Jesus. Ranked as the most prestigious higher education institution in its fields of specialization in Peru (especially in economics), it's also one of the leading institutions of its kind in Latin American and is the first Peruvian university to be AACSB accredited in both undergraduate and graduate degree programs. It's also AMBA accredited.

The Apostolic Nunciature to the Republic of Peru is an ecclesiastical office of the Roman Catholic Church in Peru. It is a diplomatic post of the Holy See, whose representative is called the Apostolic Nuncio with the rank of an ambassador. Papal representation was established in Peru by the Apostolic Delegation to Peru and Bolivia, a single office resident in Peru. As a delegation, it had no diplomatic status but acted on behalf of the Holy See with respect to the Catholic Church in the region. This was then divided to create a nunciature for each country, a diplomatic office. Archbishop Angelo Giacinto Scapardini was named Apostolic Delegate to Peru and Bolivia in 1910. When he was assigned to his next diplomatic post in December 1916, he was described as Internuncio to Peru and Bolivia. Apostolic internuncio is a title given in anticipation of the establishment of diplomatic relations and the exchange of ambassadors. The Nunciature to Peru was established on 20 July 1917.

Rospigliosi Castle (Spanish: Castillo Rospigliosi) is a castle and museum in the neighbourhood of Santa Beatriz in Lima District, Lima, Peru. Since 1959, part of the castle is occupied by the Aeronautical Museum of Peru (Spanish: Museo Aeronáutico del Perú), previously housed at Las Palmas Air Base.

The Campo de Marte is one of the largest parks in the metropolitan area of Lima, capital city of Peru. Similar in size to Parque de la Exposición and Parque de la Reserva. Campo de Marte originally was part of Exposición and later a horse racetrack, the Hipódromo de Santa Beatriz (before Jesús María Ward was split from downtown Lima Ward), in operation from 1903 to 1938. A new racetrack, San Felipe, was built further south in Jesús María ward but the stand was allowed to remain; the track was paved over with asphalt and given the street name Avenida de la Peruanidad (Peruvianness Avenue). The stand is currently used for spectators watching the Grand Military Parade, done every year on July 29, the day after Independence Day. Area: 68,850 m2

The Monument to the Defenders of the Border (Spanish: Monumento a los defensores de la frontera) is a commemorative sculptural complex located in the Campo de Marte in Lima, Peru. Its author was the Peruvian sculptor Artemio Ocaña. It was erected between 1944 and 1945 in honor of those who fell during the Ecuadorian–Peruvian War of 1941.

The Eye that Cries (El Ojo que Llora in Spanish) is a memorial that was born as a private initiative designed to honor the thousands of victims as a result of terrorism in Peru, to strengthen the collective memory of all Peruvians and to promote peace and reconciliation in the country.The Eye that Cries is part of a larger project called The Memory Alameda which will incorporate other art pieces, large extensions of green areas and the Museum of Memory (Yuyanapaq).
