Salt Lake High School East or simply East High School is a public high school in the Salt Lake City School District in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. It serves grades nine through twelve in general and special education. East High School was founded in 1913 and currently has an enrolled student body of around 1,900. It is located at 840 South 1300 East in the East Bench neighborhood. The original building was completed in 1913, and the current structure was built in 1997.Most of the Disney Channel film High School Musical was filmed at East High School. The opening scenes of its first sequel High School Musical 2 (including the film's opening number, "What Time Is It?") were also filmed at East High. Additional filming took place in St. George. The filming of the second sequel High School Musical 3: Senior Year began at East High on May 3, 2008.

Judge Memorial Catholic High School is a private Catholic high school located in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. It is one of three high schools in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City serving students in grades nine through 12. Founded in 1921, the school draws students from across the Salt Lake Valley and beyond. Judge Memorial shares its city location with Our Lady of Lourdes parish and school.

Red Butte Creek is a small stream whose headwaters are found in the northeast part of Salt Lake County, Utah, United States. It flows west through the Red Butte Garden and Arboretum, by the University of Utah, Fort Douglas and flows southwesterly to Salt Lake City’s Liberty Park. Despite 7.25 sq mi (18.8 km2) of the watershed, Red Butte Canyon is the smallest canyon of the seven canyons in eastern Salt Lake County. Its elevation ranges from 5,000 to 8,000 ft (1,500 to 2,400 m) above sea level.

The Lefler-Woodman Building is a historic building in Salt Lake City, Utah. The building was first erected as the Lefler Flour Mill for John Marshall Lefler, an immigrant from Canada, and completed in 1878. It was later joined by the Woodman Building, built for John A. and Frank H. Woodman and completed in 1911. The structure was designed in the Late Victorian style by architect George S. Walker. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since December 17, 1992.

Central City is the main core of residential and commercial areas in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. The neighborhood includes the area east of downtown along South Temple to the University of Utah campus and south to approximately 1300 South. South of 600 South, the neighborhood extends west to about 300 West. The UTA TRAX University light rail line serves the neighborhood along 400 South. Several condominium developments have been built in the neighborhood in recent years, which have convenient access to downtown nightlife and art venues as well as government facilities, the city's new main library and the university. Significant commercial activity has developed along 400 South, especially directly north of Trolley Square.

The Keyser–Cullen House, at 941 East 500 South in Salt Lake City, Utah, was built in 1879. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.It is a brick two-story cross-wing house. Its original section, a west-facing two-room-plan building was built in 1879; the wing extending to the west from that was added in the mid-1880s. It has a gabled roof, with bargeboard trim in the cross wing gable. It has some elements of Gothic Revival style.It was built by and home of Aaron Keyser, a cattle baron and brewer, c. 1879–1883. Subsequently, it was home for 35 years for Matthew Cullen, silver miner and owner of Cullen Hotel in Salt Lake City.

Mount Olivet Cemetery is a cemetery in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was established on May 16, 1874, by an act of the U.S. Congress which granted 20 acres of land for public use as a cemetery. The first use of the cemetery was in 1877. The cemetery land originally consisted of exactly 20 acres and was part of the U.S. Army's Camp Douglas military reservation. Since that time, the allotment has been expanded and contracted; the present cemetery is approximately 80 acres.

IDFL Laboratory and Institute, (originally known as International Down and Feather Testing Laboratory) is the largest down and feather testing laboratory in the world with over 8,000 clients in 80 countries. IDFL provides testing services for filled-textiles like: down and feather material and products, textiles, synthetic fills, and natural fills. IDFL also offers audit and inspection services. IDFL is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah and has offices in Frauenfeld, Switzerland, Taipei, Taiwan and Hangzhou, China.IDFL has over 150 employees, the majority of which work as testing analysts. IDFL's laboratories are certified by various quality regulation institutions such as IDFB, EDFA, and DPSC. IDFL also conducts tests and research according to quality standards established by AATCC, ADFC, ASTM, CFDIA, DAC, EDFA, IABFLO, IDFB, and TDFA.

Stadium station is a light rail station serving the Rice–Eccles Stadium on the campus of the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States, served by the Red Line of the Utah Transit Authority's (UTA) TRAX light rail system. The Red Line provides a service from the University of Utah Medical Center to the Daybreak community of South Jordan.

The Doll and Dare is a 1978 bronze sculpture by Dennis Smith, installed in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. The sculpture measures approximately 6 by 4 by 4 feet (1.8 m × 1.2 m × 1.2 m) and rests on a concrete base which measures approximately 6 by 5 by 5 feet (1.8 m × 1.5 m × 1.5 m). It depicts two figure groups: a young girl standing on one pedestal and holding a doll, and another of two young boys on another pedestal, with one pulling up the other. The artwork was surveyed by the Smithsonian Institution's "Save Outdoor Sculpture" program in 1993.

900 East is a light rail station in the Central City neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah, United States serviced by the Red Line of the Utah Transit Authority's (UTA) TRAX light rail system. The Red Line provides service from the University of Utah to the Daybreak community in South Jordan.

The Olympic and Paralympic Cauldron Plaza is located outside the southwestern corner of Rice–Eccles Stadium on the campus of the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. During the 2002 Winter Olympics and Paralympics, the stadium was known as Rice-Eccles Olympic Stadium and hosted the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. Currently, the plaza contains the 2002 Winter Olympics cauldron surrounded by several plaques displaying photographs and information related to the 2002 Games. In 2003, the "Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Cauldron Park" was opened at the southern end of Rice-Eccles Stadium, near where the cauldron had stood during the Games. The park contained the cauldron, the Hoberman Arch, and other features such as a visitor center. Overtime, features of the park became disused and some were removed. In 2018, the University of Utah announced it would be expanding the stadium south, requiring the park to be eliminated and the cauldron relocated. The cauldron was removed for refurbishment in 2020, before being installed in the new Olympic and Paralympic Cauldron Plaza, which was unveiled October 29, 2021.
