Feucht station is a railway station in the northwest of the municipality of Feucht, located in the Nürnberger Land district in Middle Franconia, Germany. The station is located at the junction of three Deutsche Bahn railway lines: Feucht–Altdorf, Nuremberg–Feucht, and Nuremberg–Regensburg.

Schwaig is a municipality in the district of Nürnberger Land in Bavaria in Germany. In 1979 the municipalities Schwaig and Behringersdorf were merged to form the current municipality. Behringersdorf has a railway station on the Nuremberg–Cheb railway.

Feucht is a market town and municipality southeast of Nuremberg in the district of Nürnberger Land in Bavaria, Germany. The name Feucht (German pronunciation: [fɔʏçt]) is derived from the Old High German noun "viuhtje" - "fichta", which is the spruce tree (vernacularly Féichdn). As of 31 December 2019, Feucht had a population of 14,050. Hermann Oberth (1894–1989), one of the early fathers of space travel, lived for many years and died in Feucht.

Pfinzing Castle or Mornek Castle is one of three preserved castles of the Nuremberg patriciate in Feucht, along with the Tucherschloss and the Zeidlerschloss. The Castle has been owned and used by the market town of Feucht since 1988. Concerts and art exhibitions are held in the entrance hall.

The Hermann Oberth Space Travel Museum (Hermann-Oberth-Raumfahrt-Museum, or Hermann-Oberth-Museum for short) is a museum of space technology in the Franconian city of Feucht in Bavaria, Germany. It commemorates the life work of the famous visionary and rocket pioneer Hermann Oberth. Exhibits include a Kumulus rocket and a Cirrus rocket, which were developed at the beginning of the 1960s by the Hermann Oberth Society and launched near Cuxhaven, Germany. A Swiss Zenit sounding rocket is also on display in front of the museum. The long-time chair person of the museum, Karl-Heinz Rohrwild, served together with Oberth's daughter as expert and interview partner on early rocket and spaceflight technology for the documentary "Das RAK-Protokoll" on Opel RAK, the world's first rocket program, and Oberth's influence on key Opel RAK people like his student Max Valier and Fritz von Opel.

The Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg (German: Akademie der Bildenden Künste Nürnberg) was founded in 1662 by Jacob von Sandrart and is the oldest art academy in German-speaking Central Europe. The art academy is situated in Nuremberg. Classes include studies in fine arts, sculpture, visual arts, painting, artistic concepts, art education, gold- and silversmithing, as well as graphic design. There are master courses in Architecture and Urban Studies, and Art and Public Space. Teaching takes place today in an ensemble of transparent pavilions that were designed by German architect Sep Ruf and have been classified as an historical monument. Located at the edge of the city, the campus offers an intensive work atmosphere. In the exhibition hall of the Academy and in the Gallery of the Academy, young artists publicly present their work. In addition to the main location in Nuremberg's Zerzabelshof district, the college has been using space in the historical imperial castle in Lauf since 1985 as a branch location in which to accommodate the art education and art pedagogy classes. Partnerships with art-universities in Western and Eastern Europe—Hungarian University of Fine Arts, Academy of Fine Arts, Helsinki, Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts-Cracow, Palermo, Riga, Sassari, Urbino, University of Applied Arts Vienna, Academy of Fine Arts Vienna—make it possible for students to complete part of their course of study abroad.
