Stary Imielin

The John Paul II Park (Polish: Park im. Jana Pawła II) is an urban park in Warsaw, Poland, within the district of Ursynów, between Romera Street and Molodyjna Street. It was opened in 2000.

Ursynów (pronounced [urˈsɨnuf] ) is the southernmost district of Warsaw. With a surface area of 43.7 km2 (16.9 sq mi), it is the third largest district in Warsaw, comprising 8.6% of the city. The district has a population of over 150,000, and is one of the fastest-growing neighbourhoods in Warsaw. Nearly 25% of its inhabitants are below 18 years of age. The eastern section of Ursynów is heavily built up with blocks of flats, while its western and southern sections are often referred to as Green Ursynów due to its lower population density and broad open spaces and green areas. The neighbourhood is considered the bedroom of Warsaw, and is home to nearly a quarter of the city's post-1989 construction. Ursynów's southern extremity comprises Kabaty Forest, covering more than 9.2 km2 (3.6 sq mi). Other popular attractions include the Vistula river escarpment, Natolin palace and Służewiec horseracing track (built in 1939), used not only for its original purpose, but for open-air exhibitions, pop concerts, etc. Ursynów is served by the Ursynów, Stokłosy, Imielin, Natolin and Kabaty stations of the Warsaw Metro. The Kabaty depot is located in the south of the borough.

Metro Stokłosy is a station on Line M1 of the Warsaw Metro, located in the Stokłosy neighbourhood of the Ursynów district in south Warsaw at the junction of Aleja KEN, Herbsta Street and Jarzębowskiego Street. It is situated between Imielin and Ursynów stations. The station was opened on 7 April 1995 as part of the inaugural stretch of the Warsaw Metro, between Kabaty and Politechnika.

Imielin is a neighbourhood in Warsaw, Poland, located within the district of Ursynów, in the City Information System areas of Stary Imielin and Ursynów-Centrum. The area is divided into two multifamily housing neighbourhoods, Imielin and West Ursynów.There are located numerous medical facilities, including Maria Skłodowska-Curie National Research Institute of Oncology, the Institute of Hematology and Transfusion Medicine, and the Southern Hospital. There is also Imielin station of the Warsaw Metro rapit transit system.The oldest known records of the village of Imielin come from 1422 It was incorporated into Warsaw in 1951. Between 1976 and 1981, there were constructed two residential neighbourhoods, Imielin and West Ursynów, mostly consisting of the multifamily housing. Between 1979 and 1997, there was constructed the medical complex of the Maria Skłodowska-Curie National Research Institute of Oncology.

Two largest neighbourhoods, which make up most of its area, are Jary, and Stokłosy. There are also two urban parks, the John Paul II Park, and Roman Kozłowski Park. Additionally, there are also the Vistula University, and the Służewiec Horse Racing Track. In North Ursynów are also located two stations of the Warsaw Metro rapid transit underground system, which are Ursynów, and Stokłosy.By the 1930s, within the modern boundaries of North Ursynów was located a small settlement of Imielin Nowy. In 1939, there was opened the Służewiec Horse Racing Track, which at the time was the largest, and most modern horse racing venue in Europe. In 1977, in North Ursynów was completed construction of the neighbourhoods of Jary, and Stokłosy, which consisted of the highrise multifamily housing.

Jary is a neighbourhood in Warsaw, Poland, located within the district of Ursynów, in the City Information System of North Ursynów.By the 1930s, within the modern boundaries of North Ursynów was located a small settlement of Imielin Nowy. In 1951, the area was incorporated into the city of Warsaw Jary was constructed between 1971 and 1977, together with Stokłosy, as neighbourhoods of the North Ursynów residential area. Within the boundaries of Jary were also constructed a few smaller neighbourhoods. They were: Koński Jar-Nutki between 1971 and 1977, Surowieckiego 2, 4, 6, 8 between 1986 and 1996, and the Neighbourhood of Techniczna Construction and Housing Association between 1993 and 1999.Jary mostly consists of highrise multifamily housing. There are located two urban parks, the John Paul II Park, and Roman Kozłowski Park. Additionally, there are two stations the Warsaw Metro rapid transit underground system, which are, the Ursynów station, and the Stokłosy station.

Vistula boulevards (Polish: Bulwary wiślane) form a continuous riverside promenade on the left (west) bank of the River Vistula in Warsaw, Poland. The section between Poniatowski Bridge and Śląsko-Dąbrowski Bridge is named after Bohdan Grzymała-Siedlecki, and between the bridges of Śląsko-Dąbrowski and Gdański after Jan Karski.The reconstruction of the boulevards began in 2013. The opening of the boulevards was planned for the July, and then autumn of 2014. Later dates of the opening of the boulevards at Podzamcze was estimated to be April 2015, and the segment to Copernicus Science Centre in mid-2015.The first segment of the Vistulan Boulevards was opened on August 2, 2015.

Arena Ursynów is an indoor arena located in Warsaw, Poland. It is used as an exhibition complex, theater and sports arena. In a sports setting, the arena has a capacity of 2,000 people. Sports that are being played at the Arena Ursynów include basketball, volleyball and badminton.

Stokłosy is a residential neighborhood in the Ursynów district of Warsaw, Poland. Stokłosy is located within the area of the Municipal Information System of Northern Ursynów (Ursynów Północny). According to the State Register of Geographical Names, the residential neighborhood is a part of the city with the ID number 131429. Its area is run by, among others Jastrzębowski, Stokłosa, Zamiany, Béla Bartók, Bacewiczówna and the Union of Youth Struggle (Związki Walki Młodych) Streets. Stokłosy is an area with a predominance of multi-family housing.

The Silent Unseen Paratroopers of the Home Army Park, also simply known as the Silent Unseen Park is an urban park in Warsaw, Poland. It is located in the neighbourhood of Natolin, within the district of Ursynów, between Perkalowa Street, Belgradzka Strewt, Moczydłowska Street, and Gminna Street. The park was established in 2016.
