Anna Maria College is a private Roman Catholic college in Paxton, Massachusetts. It was founded in 1946 as a women's college, but has been coeducational since 1973. The school offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees.

The Eagleville Historic District encompasses a historic mill village in northwestern Holden, Massachusetts. The area, now part of the village of Jefferson, was developed beginning early in the 19th century, although no industrial structures from that period survive. The main dam and mill complex that now stand there were built c. 1850, and extended or modified into the early 20th century. The village also includes significant tracts of surviving mill worker housing. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

The Willard-Fisk House is a historic farm property at 126 Whitney Street in Holden, Massachusetts. The farmhouse, built about 1772, is one of the oldest houses in Holden, and one of its oldest brick houses. The property also includes a 19th-century barn and several 20th-century farm outbuildings. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996, where it is listed at 121 Whitney Street.

WSRS (96.1 FM) – branded 96-1 SRS – is a commercial radio station licensed to Worcester, Massachusetts, and serving Central Massachusetts. Rutland is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Rutland in Worcester County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 2,111 at the 2010 census.

The Rutland Heights State Hospital was a state sanatorium for the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis located in Rutland, Massachusetts, USA built for the purpose of treating Tuberculosis patients. The facility was the first state-operated sanatorium in the United States, opening in 1898 and operating for around 93 years before its closure in 1991. Rutland Heights opened under the title “Massachusetts Hospital for Consumptives and Tubercular Patients,” to which it operated until 1900, where it was renamed to “Massachusetts State Sanatorium.” In 1919 it was renamed to “Rutland State Sanatorium,” which was the longest operating name of the hospital, effective until 1963. In 1963, it was renamed briefly to “Rutland Hospital,” and successively in 1965 to “Rutland Heights State Hospital,” which was the final title of the hospital until closing. In 2004, the hospital was demolished.

The Holden Center Historic District encompasses a significant portion of the historic village center of Holden, Massachusetts. When first listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the district included only nine buildings, including the 1836 town hall, the 1789 First Congregational Church, the 1835 First Baptist Church, and the 1880 Old Post Office, as well as the 1759 Old Burying Ground. The district was enlarged in 1995 to incorporate the historically significant residential portions of the village.

WJZB-TV, UHF analog channel 14, was a television station located in Worcester, Massachusetts, United States. The station was on the air from 1953 to 1969, with a hiatus from 1955 to 1958.
