The BMW Headquarters (German: BMW-Vierzylinder, lit. 'BMW four-cylinder'), also known as the BMW Tower (German: BMW-Turm or BMW-Hochhaus), is a high-rise building located in the Am Riesenfeld area of Munich, Germany. The building has served as the global corporate headquarters of German automaker BMW since 1973. It was declared a protected historic building in 1999, and it is often cited as one of the most notable examples of modern architecture in Munich. Extensive renovations commenced in 2004 and were completed in 2006.

Luitpoldpark is a public park in the Schwabing-West borough of Munich, Germany.

The BMW Art Car Project was introduced by the French racecar driver and auctioneer Hervé Poulain, who wanted to invite an artist to create a canvas on an automobile. In 1975, Poulain commissioned American artist and friend Alexander Calder to paint the first BMW Art Car. This first example would be a BMW 3.0 CSL which Poulain himself would race in the 1975 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race.Since Calder's work of art, many other renowned artists throughout the world have created BMW Art Cars, including David Hockney, Jenny Holzer, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Rauschenberg, Frank Stella, and Andy Warhol. To date, a total of 20 BMW Art Cars, based on both racing and regular production vehicles, have been created. Frank Stella also made one unofficial art car at the behest of race car driver Peter Gregg. The most recent artist to the join BMW Art Car program is Cao Fei in 2017 with her M6. Artists for the BMW Art Car Project are chosen by a panel of international judges. According to Thomas Girst, who has been in charge of the BMW Art Cars project since 2004, the purpose of the project has changed over time: "In the beginning the cars were raced. There wasn't much of a public relations effort around them... Since then, some of the Art Cars have been used in advertisements to show that BMW is a player in the arts. With the Eliason work, part of what we are doing is raising awareness of alternative and renewable energy sources."

Schleißheimer Straße is the second longest street in Munich after Dachauer Straße (11.2 km) with a length of 8.14 km. It starts in the city centre at Stiglmaierplatz, leads through five districts and ends at Goldschmiedplatz. It takes its name from the northern suburb of Oberschleißheim, where it originally ended.

Scheidplatz is a Munich U-Bahn interchange station in the borough of Schwabing-West. The station is also the northern terminus of routes and of the Munich tramway.

Olympia Eishalle (originally known as Eisstadion am Oberwiesenfeld) is an indoor sporting arena located in Munich, Germany. It is used for various indoor events and is the home arena of the ice hockey team EHC München now playing in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (previously it played in 2nd Bundesliga and lower leagues). The capacity of the arena is 6,256 spectators.

The BMW Welt is a combined exhibition, delivery, adventure museum, and event venue located in Munich's district Am Riesenfeld, next to the Olympic Park, in the immediate vicinity of the BMW Headquarters and factory. It was built from August 2003 to summer 2007. A solar system with 800 kW of power is installed on the roof of the main building. The opening took place on 17 October 2007. The BMW Welt is the most visited tourist attraction in Bavaria.

The Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry (German: Max-Planck-Institut für Psychiatrie) is a scientific institute based in the city of Munich in Germany specializing in psychiatry. Currently directed by Elisabeth Binder and Alon Chen, it is one of the 81 institutes in the Max Planck Society.

Olympiazentrum is an U-Bahn station in Munich on the U3 of the Munich U-Bahn system. It was opened on 8 May 1972 for the 1972 Summer Olympics and services Munich's Olympiapark and its Olympic Village, and also those who want to visit the BMW museum.

The Brundageplatz is a square in the Munich Olympia Park in Milbertshofen-Am Hart (Am Riesenfeld).

Alter St.-Georgs-Platz is a square in Munich's Milbertshofen-Am Hart district. It is located between Moosacher Straße and Motorstraße and is the historical centre of Milbertshofen. In 1913 it was named after the old parish church of St. George (D-1-62-000-224) which was built in 1510 at no. 6 of this square. On the square there are two further historical residential buildings (no. 4: two-storey free-standing saddle-roofed building, probably first half of the 19th century (D-1-62-000-222) and no. 5: two-storey free-standing saddle-roofed building, around 1850 (D-1-62-000-223)).The building at no. 4 Alten St.-Georgs-Platz used to be an inn; finally, until July 2018 it was the district centre Milbertshofen of the non-profit association Stadtteilarbeit. Renovation work was carried out at the end of 2018. However, the municipal department rejected plans to set up a district museum on the grounds that the cost of the extensive restoration required was too high.
