St. Peter's Church (Hebrew: כנסיית פטרוס הקדוש) is a Franciscan church in the historical part of Jaffa, now part of Tel Aviv, Israel.

The Battle of Jaffa took place during the Crusades, as one of a series of campaigns between the army of Sultan Saladin (Ṣalāḥ al-Dīn Yūsuf ibn Ayyūb) and the Crusader forces led by King Richard I of England (known as Richard the Lionheart). It was the final battle of the Third Crusade, after which Saladin and King Richard were able to negotiate a truce. Although the Crusaders did not regain possession of Jerusalem, Christian pilgrims were permitted entry into the city, and the Crusaders were able to retain control of a sizable strip of land stretching from Beirut to Jaffa. Although largely a footnote among the greater events that unfolded during the Crusades, the battle was a decisive encounter, in that it forced Saladin to negotiate an end to the immediate hostilities. The battle illustrated the determined spirit of Saladin and the courage and tactical skill of Richard. It was the final armed encounter between the two monarchs before the ratification of the Treaty of Jaffa brought the Crusade to an end. The battle ensured that the Crusader presence in the south of Palestine was secure.

The al-Bahr Mosque or Masjid al-Bahr (Arabic: مسجد البحر, Misgad HaYam (Hebrew: מסגד הים), meaning in all languages The Sea Mosque, is the oldest extant mosque in the historical part of Jaffa, Israel. Built in 1675, It is situated on the HaAliya HaShniya Street near the harbour. Due to its proximity to the Mediterranean Sea, fishermen and sailors used the mosque, as well as nearby inhabitants of the surrounding area.

Jaffa Light (Hebrew: מגדלור יפו) is a lighthouse in Jaffa, Tel Aviv, Israel. It is located on a hilltop above the old Jaffa Port, in the historical part of the city. It operated between 1865 and 1966, although now deactivated it is still used as a daylight navigation aid.

Old Jaffa (Hebrew: יפו העתיקה [yafa ha'atiká] – Ancient Yafo; Arabic: يافا العتيقه [yafa al.ʿatīqa] – Ancient Jaffa or يافا القديمة [yafa al.qadīma] – Old Jaffa ) is a neighborhood of Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel and the oldest part of Jaffa. A neighborhood with art galleries, restaurants, theaters, museums, and nightclubs, it is one of Tel Aviv's main tourist attractions. Jaffa is the southwest district of the Tel Aviv–Jaffa municipality. Old Jaffa is located in the northwest of Jaffa, on a hill along the Mediterranean Sea. Geologically, the hill of Old Jaffa is the continental north end of a kurkar ridge, historically further protected through fortifications and heightened by debris.

Hasimta Theater (Hebrew: תיאטרון הסימטה, lit. The Alley Theater) is a fringe theater located in the old city of Jaffa, Israel, and known for being one of the oldest fringe theaters in Israel, as it has been operating continuously since its foundation in 1982 by actor and director Niko Nitai, who had also served as the theater's artistic manager for a while. The theater attracts artists that work in theater and music and seek to examine theatrical form and expression outside the box. The current artistic director and CEO of the theater is Irit Frank. The theater was founded by Nitai with the help of Tel Aviv Municipality, on the location of former Hasimta Art Gallery. Regular artists during the first year of the theater's operation included Meir Ariel. These artists did not receive proper salaries, rather were paid a certain percentage of the incomes of their shows. The theater is active almost every day of the year, and serves as a rehearsal hall in the mornings and a stage for performances in the evenings. Over 54 productions and over 200 plays are presented at the theater per year, and the theater maintains a team of around 135 actors and 96 creators. The place also serves as an exhibition center, and serves as a stage for music and Jazz concerts. "The Alley Bar" also works at the location.

The Libyan synagogue of Jaffa (Hebrew: בית הכנסת לעולי לוב Beit haknesset lè'olei Loub) is an Mizrahi Jewish synagogue built inside a former hotel in 1948 by Jewish immigrants from Libya. Located on Rehov Mazal Daggim, the Pisces (Fish) Street, in the historical part of Jaffa, it is the oldest synagogue in Tel Aviv-Yafo.

Ilana Goor Museum or Ilana Goor Residence and Museum (Hebrew: מוזיאון אילנה גור) is an Israeli museum situated in the historical part of Jaffa, the Mediterranean port town south of Tel Aviv. The museum was founded in 1995 by Ilana Goor, an artist, designer and sculptor. Its eclectic collection has been called an "artistic jungle", but Goor considers it to have been her own "university".

The Farkash Gallery (Hebrew: גלריית פרקש) is an art gallery in Jaffa, Israel.

The Arab-Hebrew Theater is a multilingual theater located in the Old Saraya House in the Old City of Jaffa. It serves as a stage for two theater companies working independently and together in two languages: Hebrew and Arabic. The Hebrew company is "Teatron Mekomi (Local Theater)", which was established in 1990 by Yigal Ezrati and Gabi Eldor, and the Arab company is "Al-Saraya", which was established in 1998. The theater is partially funded by the Ministry of Culture and the Tel Aviv Municipality. The theater has three arts directors: Mohammad Bakri, Yigal Ezrati, and Gabi Eldor.

Jaffa, in Hebrew Yafo (Hebrew: יָפוֹ, Yāfō ) and in Arabic Yafa (Arabic: يَافَا) and also called Japho or Joppa, the southern and oldest part of Tel Aviv-Yafo, is an ancient port city in Israel. Jaffa is famous for its association with the biblical stories of Jonah, Solomon and Saint Peter as well as the mythological story of Andromeda and Perseus, and later for its oranges. Today, Jaffa is one of Israel's mixed cities, with approximately 37% of the city being Arab.

The Tabeetha School is a school on Yefet Street #21 in Jaffa, a district of Tel Aviv, Israel, run by the Church of Scotland which "welcomes all children regardless of race, nationality, gender or religion". It was founded in 1863.
