Istanbul Airport (Turkish: İstanbul Havalimanı, IATA: IST, ICAO: LTFM) is the larger of two international airports serving Istanbul, Turkey. It is located in the Arnavutköy district on the European side of the city. All scheduled commercial passenger flights were transferred from Atatürk Airport to Istanbul Airport on 6 April 2019, following the closure of Atatürk Airport for scheduled passenger flights. The IATA airport code IST was also transferred to the new airport.It served more than 64 million passengers in 2022, making it the busiest airport in Europe of 2022, however Heathrow surpassed it in 2023 and it was also the 7th-busiest airport in the world of 2022 in terms of total passenger traffic and, by serving more than 48 million international passengers, the 5th-busiest airport in the world in terms of international passenger traffic according to ACI World traffic values. It serves up to 114 countries and is the hub for Turkish Airlines.

Terminal 2 (Istanbul Airport) is a reserved underground rapid transit station on the M11 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located in the İmrahor neighbourhood of Arnavutköy district, at Istanbul Airport. The station will open when Istanbul Airport Terminal 2 is completed and opened.

Kargo Terminali (Cargo Terminal) is an underground rapid transit station on the M11 line of the Istanbul Metro, and the current northern terminus of the line. It is located in the Tayakadın neighbourhood of Arnavutköy district, at Istanbul Airport. The station is among the first five metro stations to be located outside of the city (urban area) of Istanbul. It was opened on 22 January 2023.

Tayakadın is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Arnavutköy, Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its population is 2,951 (2022). It was located in Çatalca until 1972, after which it was reassigned to Gaziosmanpaşa in 1972 before being transferred to Arnavutköy in 2008.

Taşoluk is an underground station on the M11 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located under Atatürk Street in the Mareşal Fevzi Çakmak neighbourhood of Arnavutköy district. It was opened on 19 March 2024.

İhsaniye is an underground rapid transit station on the M11 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located on the D.020 highway in the İhsaniye neighbourhood of Eyüp district, north of the town of İhsaniye. The station is among the first five metro stations to be located outside of the city (urban area) of Istanbul. It was opened on 22 January 2023.

Arnavutköy (meaning "Albanian village" in Turkish) is a town and rural district in Istanbul Province, Turkey. The district was newly formed in 2008 from the large rural part of Gaziosmanpaşa district and parts of other districts, including Çatalca. The mayor is Ahmet Haşim Baltacı of the AKP. It is located on the European side of Istanbul and borders the Black Sea. The name of a neighborhood in the district, Hadımköy, was often spelled "Hademkeui" in European sources. Istanbul Airport is in the district.

Arnavutköy Hastane is an underground station on the M11 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located under Eski Edirne Street at Arnavutköy City Park in the Anadolu neighbourhood of Arnavutköy district. It was opened on 19 March 2024, and serves as the western terminus of the line until the extension to Halkalı opens in early 2025.

Istanbul Waste Power Plant (Turkish: İBB Atık Yakma ve Enerji Ürestim Tesisi) is a waste-to-energy facility in the Eyüp district of Istanbul near the Odayeri landfill, Turkey, using waste incineration. Opened in 2021 it is owned by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) and operated by İstanbul Environmental Management Co. (İSTAÇ). It is Turkey's first power plant of this type.

Istanbul is a Turkish province divided into three electoral districts of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. It elects ninety-eight members of parliament (deputies) to represent the province of the same name for a five-year term by the D'Hondt method, a party-list proportional representation system. The first district is situated on the Anatolian side of İstanbul on the east of the Bosphorus. The second and third electoral district are both on the European side, with the third situated to the west of the second. The first and third districts, electing 35 MPs, are the largest electoral districts of Turkey in terms of members elected.

Delkos (Ancient Greek: Δέλκως), or Delcus, was a town of ancient Thrace. Under the name of Delcus it was a bishopric and later a titular see, now suppressed, of the Roman Catholic Church. It was later called Derkos, under which name it again was a bishopric and later a titular see of the Roman Catholic Church. The Orthodox diocese remains extant (see Metropolis of Derkoi). Its site is located near Derkoz in European Turkey.

Philia (Ancient Greek: Φιλία) was a town of ancient Thrace, on the coast of the Euxine, situated on a promontory of the same name. It was situated 310 stadia southeast of Salmydessus. Its site is located near Karaburun in European Turkey.
