Husvik is a populated area located east of the city of Tønsberg, south of Klopp and Vallø in Norway.

Husøy is a populated island in Tønsberg municipality, Norway. It is connected by bridge to its western neighbor Føynland, which in turn is connected to Nøtterøy.

Husøy Church (Norwegian: Husøy kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Tønsberg Municipality in Vestfold county, Norway. It is located in the village of Husøy. It is one of the churches for the Søndre Slagen parish which is part of the Tønsberg domprosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Tunsberg. The reddish-brown, stone church was built in a long church design in 1933 using plans drawn up by the architect Eirik Eikrann. The church seats about 183 people.

Føynland is a populated island in Nøtterøy municipality, Norway. Two bridges connect the island to Nøtterøy in the west and Husøy in Tønsberg municipality to the east.

Vallø Church (Norwegian: Vallø kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Tønsberg Municipality in Vestfold county, Norway. It is located in the village of Vallø. It is one of the churches for the Søndre Slagen parish which is part of the Tønsberg domprosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Tunsberg. The gray, wooden church was built in a long church design in 1782 using plans drawn up by the architects Johan Christian Hvoslef and Jacob Smith. The church seats about 246 people.

The Frodeåsen Tunnel (Norwegian: Frodeåstunnelen) is a 1,910-meter (6,270 ft) long twin-tube, four lane road tunnel in Tønsberg, Norway. Part of County Road 300, it runs through Frodeåsen between Kjelle and Velle north of the city center. Built as part of the Tønsberg Package, construction started on 28 October 2004 and the breakthrough was made on 9 March 2006. The tunnel and the new County Road 300 opened on 13 March 2008, creating a bypass road north of the town of Tønsberg.

Slagen Church (Norwegian: Slagen kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Tønsberg Municipality in Vestfold county, Norway. It is located in the village of Slagen which is just east of the village of Eik. It is the church for the Slagen parish which is part of the Tønsberg domprosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Tunsberg. The white, stone church was built in a long church design in 1901 using plans drawn up by the architect Halfdan Berle. The church seats about 332 people.

Solvang Church (Norwegian: Solvang kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Tønsberg Municipality in Vestfold county, Norway. It is located in the city of Tønsberg. It is one of the churches for the "Tønsberg domkirke" parish which is part of the Tønsberg domprosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Tunsberg. The white, brick church was built in a long church design in 1969 using plans drawn up by the architect Elisabet Fidjestøl. The church seats about 300 people.

Vestfold Hospital Trust (Norwegian: Sykehuset i Vestfold HF) is a public health trust which serves Vestfold, Norway. Its main facility is Tønsberg Hospital, which supplements divisions in Larvik and Stavern. As of 2019, the hospital had 5,400 employees. The hospital was founded in 1870. It was merged with Horten Hospital, originally the Navy Hospital, established in 1828, in 1998, and merged with Sandefjord Hospital and Larvik Hospital in 2000, and with the Psychiatry of Vestfold Trust in 2012. It is owned by the Norwegian state through Southern and Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority. The hospital was established as Jarlsberg and Larvik County Hospital (Jarlsberg og Larvik amts sygehus). It was renamed Vestfold County Hospital (Vestfold fylkessykehus) in 1918 and was significantly extended during Nikolai Nissen Paus' tenure as director (1918–1947). It was later renamed Vestfold Central Hospital (Vestfold sentralsykehus) and to the current Vestfold Hospital (Sykehuset i Vestfold) in 2002.

Tønsberg Hospital (Norwegian: Tønsberg sykehus) is a general hospital situated in Tønsberg, Vestfold og Telemark, Norway. It is the main facility of Vestfold Hospital Trust, part of the Southern and Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority. Tønsberg Heliport, Hospital is an asphalt, ground helipad with a diameter of 18.3 meters (60 ft). A new parking garage and is under construction and will receive the a new helipad on top. Until this is completed the Westland Sea King helicopters use the city's fire department to land.

Teie is a part of the urban area of Tønsberg, located on the island of Nøtterøy, as well as in Nøtterøy municipality, Norway. It is located at the northern end of the island, near Vestskogen. The newspaper Øyene has been published in Teie since 1999.

Vestfold County Municipality (Norwegian: Vestfold fylkeskommune) was the regional governing administration of the old Vestfold county in Norway. The county municipality was established in its most recent form on 1 January 1976 when the law was changed to allow elected county councils in Norway. The county municipality was dissolved on 1 January 2020, when Vestfold was merged with the neighboring Telemark county, creating the new Viken county which is led by the Viken County Municipality. The administrative seat is located in Tønsberg and the county mayor was Rune Hogsnes of the Conservative Party and the final chief administrative officer for the county municipality was Egil Johansen.The main responsibilities of the county municipality included the running of the ten upper secondary schools with about 8,500 pupils in addition to Skiringssal Folk High School. It managed all the county roadways, public transport, dental care, culture, and cultural heritage sites in the county. Public transport was managed through Vestfold Kollektivtrafikk.
