60. Yıl Parkı (60th Year Park) is an underground metro station under construction, and the southern terminus of the M12 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is planned to enter service on 29 October 2026. The station, located under the Göztepe 60. Year Park in the Caddebostan neighbourhood of Kadıköy, will have 2 entrances.

Çiftehavuzlar is an informal neighbourhood (semt) in the Kadıköy district of Istanbul, Turkey. It is roughly located west of Göztepe 60. Year Park and east of Selamiçeşme, between the neighbourhoods of Caddebostan and Feneryolu on the Bağdat Avenue.

The neighborhood is mostly known for Bağdat Avenue, Caddebostan Coast, and the Ragıp Pasha Mansion. Caddebostan is bordered by Çiftehavuzlar and Fenerbahçe in the west, Göztepe and Erenköy in the north, and Suadiye in the east.

Ragip Pasha Mansion (Turkish: Ragıp Paşa Köşkü) is an Ottoman-era mansion in Istanbul, Turkey. It was built in 1906.

Caddebostan Synagogue is a synagogue built in 1953 in the Kadiköy district of Istanbul, Turkey. The name of the architect is Albert Arditi. As a result of the increase of the Jewish population in the area, the Synagogue is the most populated one on the Asian side of the city and visits and participation in prayers is possible by contacting the Chief Rabbinate. The synagogue was active with the demand made to the Turkish authorities by the Chief Rabbinate on the 1 April 1961.

Göztepe is a neighborhood in Kadiköy district of Istanbul, Turkey. The name, literally meaning "eye hill" in English, was coined to honor Gözcü Baba ("Father Watchman"), the nickname of the watchman of a dervish lodge situated on a hill there.The neighborhood on the Asian part of Istanbul is bordered in the south by Sahilyolu (Coastline) and the Sea of Marmara, in the north by Merdivenköy, in the east by Erenköy and in the west by Çiftehavuzlar neighborhoods. The notable high street of the Asian part of Istanbul, the Baghdad Avenue, runs through Göztepe. The city park of Göztepe is the largest green area along Baghdad Avenue covering 10,000 m2 (2.5 acres).

Rouphinianai (Ancient Greek: Ρουφινιαναί), also known as Drys (Ancient Greek: Δρῦς), was a coastal town of ancient Bithynia located on the road from Libyssa to Chalcedon on the north coast of the Propontis. Its church was reportedly saved by Nicaean emperor John III Vatatzes. Its site is located near Caddebostan in Asiatic Turkey.

Galib Pasha Mosque is a mosque situated on the Bağdat Street (located inside the borders of Caddebostan, but colloquially perceived to be in Erenköy) in Kadıköy, Istanbul. It was constructed in 1899 by Abdullah Galib Pasha in the Abdulhamid II period, as written on its entrance. In front of the Galib Pasha Mosque is the Galib Pasha Mosque Fountain.

Feneryolu railway station (Turkish: Feneryolu istasyonu) is a station under construction on the Marmaray commuter rail line in Kadıköy, Istanbul. It will replace the 145 year old railway station, built by the Ottoman Anatolian Railway. The original station was opened on 22 September 1872 by the Ottoman Empire and later taken over by the Ottoman Anatolian Railway in 1880. The station was then rebuilt in 1969 to accommodate new commuter trains which served the station until 19 February 2013, when all train service was suspended. The old station (except for the historic station building) was demolished and a new platform is under construction. Feneryolu is expected to open on 10 March 2019, along with the rest of the Maramaray line.The station will have two tracks with an island platform and one express track on the south side for high-speed and intercity trains.

Göztepe station (Turkish: Göztepe İstasyonu) is a historical railway station in Kadıköy, Istanbul. Between 1969 and 2013, it was a station on the Haydarpaşa suburban railway line to Gebze. A modern station of the same name is now a stop on the Marmaray commuter rail service to Gebze. The station was originally built in 1876 by the Ottoman government as part of the railway from Istanbul to İzmit. A small two-story wooden station house was built, that is currently on the northern part of the station. Due to a steep climb just west of the station, trains weren't able to always make it up during snowy weather; so in 1915 the tracks were lowered by 11 m (36 ft) and a new, larger station house was built over the tracks in the Turkish Neoclassical style.

The İstanbul Toy Museum (Turkish: İstanbul Oyuncak Müzesi) is a toy museum located in the Göztepe neighbourhood of Kadıköy district in İstanbul, Turkey. The museum was founded by the Turkish poet and novelist, Sunay Akın, in 2005. The museum opened on April 23, a national holiday in Turkey, National Sovereignty and Children's Day. Currently, the museum has on display 4,000 toys and miniatures from Turkey and abroad; many of the exhibits are antiques, some of which date back nearly 200 years. The first floor of the museum is the site of the Eyüp Toy Shop, a famous toy shop that closed down in the 1950s. In 2012, the museum was nominated and shortlisted for the annual European Museum Academy Children’s Museum Award.The museum is open weekdays (except Mondays), 9:30-18:00, and weekends, 9:30-19:00. It is located at Ömerpaşa Caddesi, Dr. Zeki Zeren Sokak 17, Göztepe-Kadıköy, Istanbul.

The iconoclast Council of Hieria was a Christian council of 754 which viewed itself as ecumenical, but was later rejected by the Second Council of Nicaea (787) and by Catholic and Orthodox churches, since none of the five major patriarchs were represented in Hieria. The Council of Hieria was summoned by the Byzantine Emperor Constantine V in 754 in the palace of Hieria at Chalcedon. The council supported the emperor's iconoclast position in the Byzantine iconoclasm controversy, condemning the spiritual and liturgical use of iconography as heretical. Opponents of the council described it as the Mock Synod of Constantinople or the Headless Council because no patriarchs or representatives of the five great patriarchates were present: the see of Constantinople was vacant; Antioch, Jerusalem and Alexandria were under Islamic dominion; while Rome was not asked to participate. Its rulings were anathematized at the Lateran Council of 769 before being overturned almost entirely by the Second Council of Nicaea in 787, which upheld the orthodoxy of and endorsed the veneration of holy images.
