Rhisnes

Rhisnes (Walloon: Rénne) is a town of Wallonia and a district of the municipality of La Bruyère, located in the province of Namur, Belgium. Formerly the center of its own municipality, the post-1974 fusion of the Belgian municipalities brought together seven of these ancienne communes to create the La Bruyère municipality. Rhisnes is the largest population center in La Bruyère, and serves as the administrative seat.

La Bruyère (French: [la bʁɥijɛʁ]; Walloon: Les Brouyires) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Namur, Belgium. The municipality is composed of the following districts: Bovesse, Émines, Meux, Rhisnes, Saint-Denis-Bovesse, Villers-lez-Heest, and Warisoulx. Rhisnes is the administrative seat of the municipality.

Château de La Falize was built in the 15th and 16th centuries with 20th century additions. It is located about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) north of the city centre of Namur just off the old Gembloux-Namur (N904 road) at the top of the steep northern valley slope of the river Meuse. It is in the province of Namur in Wallonia (one of the three regions of Belgium).

The dominant features in the suburb is the Namur-Nord-Rhisnes (Namur North Rhisnes) business park and the Ecolys park. The neighbouring old Suarlée Fort and park lands are just outside the suburb.

Émines (Walloon: Émene) is a village of Wallonia and a district of the municipality of La Bruyère, located in the province of Namur, Belgium.It was a municipality in its own right before the fusion of Belgian municipalities in 1977.

Saint-Marc (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃ maʁ(k)]; Walloon: Sint-Mår-dilé-Nameur) is a sub-municipality of the city of Namur located in the province of Namur, Wallonia, Belgium. It was a separate municipality until 1977. On 1 January 1977, it was merged into Namur.

Belgrade (French pronunciation: [bɛlɡʁad]; Walloon: Belgråde) is an ancient village of Wallonia and a district of the city of Namur, located in the province of Namur, Belgium. It was named after Belgrade, Serbia in 1718 to commemorate the Austrian Empire's conquest of the city from the Ottoman Turks (the county of Namur was a dependency of the Austria-ruling royal house of Habsburg).

Namur-Suarlée Airfield (ICAO: EBNM) is a regional aerodrome in Belgium, located at Suarlée and Temploux, 4 nautical miles (7.4 km; 4.6 mi) west-northwest of Namur, in Namur Province, Wallonia. It is about 65 km (40 mi) southeast of Brussels. It supports general aviation with no commercial airline service scheduled.

It was formerly a municipality itself until the fusion of Belgian municipalities in 1977. As of 1 April 2020, the population was 4,456.
