The Lima Stock Exchange (Spanish: Bolsa de Valores de Lima, BVL) is the stock exchange of Peru, located in the capital Lima. It has several indices. The S&P/BVL Peru General Index (formerly IGBVL) is a value-weighted index that tracks the performance of the largest and most frequently traded stocks on the Lima Exchange.Other indices are S&P/BVL Peru Select and S&P/BVL Lima 25. The Hotel Maury is a three-star hotel located at the corners of Carabaya and Ucayali streets in the historic centre of Lima, Peru. It is considered one of the oldest hotels in both Peru and the Pacific coast.

The Basilica and Convent of Nuestra Señora de la Merced is a Roman Catholic church located in Lima, Peru. It was designed in the Baroque style known as Churrigueresque. The church was built under the supervision of Friar Miguel de Orenes in 1535. The Blessed Virgin Mary of Mercy, the patroness of the Peruvian Armed Forces, is venerated in the Basilica. The Mercedarians, who evangelized the region, helped to develop Lima by building many of the churches preserved today.

Since 2008, the house has functioned as a cultural centre of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and a permanent space dedicated to the memory of Bernardo O'Higgins. The Palacio de Torre Tagle is a building built during the colonial era of Peru that currently serves as the main headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru. It is located in the Jirón Ucayali in the historic center of Lima, two blocks southeast of the Plaza Mayor de Lima.It comprises a built area of 1699 m². The materials used in the construction of the Palacio de Torre Tagle were brought from Spain, Panama and other Central American countries.

The Riva-Agüero Institute (Spanish: Instituto Riva-Agüero, IRA) is an institute created in 1947 by the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, named after its benefactor, José de la Riva-Agüero y Osma. Located in the Casona Riva-Agüero of the historic centre of Lima, where Riva-Agüero lived until his dath, it serves a research centre for the human sciences that in 1955 reached the category of "School of Higher Studies" (Spanish: Escuela de Altos Estudios). It is divided into six research sections: Archaeology, Law, Ethnology, philosophy, Language and Literature, and History.

The Basilica Metropolitan Cathedral of Lima and Primate of Peru, otherwise Lima Metropolitan Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic cathedral located in the Plaza Mayor of downtown Lima, Peru. This third and current Cathedral of Lima was built between 1602 and 1797. It is dedicated to St John, Apostle and Evangelist.

The St. James Cathedral (Spanish: Catedral de Santiago) Also Moyobamba Cathedral Is the main Catholic church of the Prelature of Moyobamba and of the Region of San Martín, is in the Center of Moyobamba a city of the South American country of Peru. The Moyobamba Cathedral occupies the north side of the Moyobamba Plaza de Armas, in Jirón Callao, on the corner of Pedro Canga. Formerly occupied the north-east side of the square, where it was its real location, but because of the earthquake that struck the city was built in the current location, and in the old cathedral was built a monument dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
