Basilica and Convent of Nuestra Señora de la Merced

The Plazoleta de la Merced, also known as the Plazuela de la Merced, is a public square located in front of the Basilica and Convent of Nuestra Señora de la Merced, at the fifth block of the Jirón de la Unión and its intersection with the Jirón Huancavelica, in the historic centre of Lima, Peru.

The Casa O'Higgins is a colonial-style building located in the historic centre of Lima, specifically located in the Jirón de la Unión, a few metres from the Plaza de Armas of the Peruvian capital. Since 2008, the house has functioned as a cultural centre of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and a permanent space dedicated to the memory of Bernardo O'Higgins. It forms part of the Cultural heritage of Peru.

The Lima Stock Exchange Building is a building located at the intersection of Carabaya and Santa Rosa streets, in the historic centre of Lima, Peru. Its name comes from the fact that, from 1997 to 2022, it housed the Lima Stock Exchange, after which the building was acquired by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Directorate General for Peruvian Communities Abroad and Consular Affairs (Spanish: Dirección General de Comunidades Peruanas en el Exterior y Asuntos Consulares) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is headquartered in the building since August 3, 2023.

The Riva-Agüero Institute (Spanish: Instituto Riva-Agüero, IRA) is an institute created in 1947 by the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, named after its benefactor, José de la Riva-Agüero y Osma. Located in the Casona Riva-Agüero of the historic centre of Lima, where Riva-Agüero lived until his dath, it serves a research centre for the human sciences that in 1955 reached the category of "School of Higher Studies" (Spanish: Escuela de Altos Estudios). It is divided into six research sections: Archaeology, Law, Ethnology, philosophy, Language and Literature, and History.

The Jirón de la Unión, or Union Street, is a pedestrian street located in the Historic Centre of Lima, part of the capital of Peru. For many decades it was the most important boulevards of the city, often described as the most aristocratic, where many of the most affluent citizens of the city and most powerful men around the world would meet. Subsequently, with the deterioration of the center of Lima, the Jirón de la Unión lost its aristocratic character and became completely commercialized.

The Atlas Building (Spanish: Edificio Atlas; Edificio Seguros Atlas; Edificio de la Compañía Seguros Atlas) is a building designed by architect Walter Weberhofer with José Álvarez Calderón, located in the corners of Huancavelica and Caylloma streets in the historic centre of Lima, Peru. Built in 1955, it is located in the district of Lima. The building won the Gold Medal from the Municipality of Lima for Best Building of 1955, awarded on the Fiestas Patrias.
