The West Pomeranian Voivodeship, also known as the West Pomerania Province, is a voivodeship (province) in northwestern Poland. Its capital and largest city is Szczecin. Its area equals 22 892.48 km² (8,838.84 sq mi), and in 2021, it was inhabited by 1,682,003 people.It was established on 1 January 1999, out of the former Szczecin and Koszalin Voivodeships and parts of Gorzów, Piła and Słupsk Voivodeships, pursuant to the Polish local government reforms adopted in 1998. It borders on Pomeranian Voivodeship to the east, Greater Poland Voivodeship to the southeast, Lubusz Voivodeship to the south, the German federal-states of Mecklenburg-West Pomerania and Brandenburg to the west, and the Baltic Sea to the north.

Podjuchy (German: Podejuch) is a municipal neighborhood of the city of Szczecin, Poland situated on the right bank of the East Oder river, south-east of the Szczecin Old Town, and south-west of Szczecin-Dąbie. The Szczecin-Dąbie Airstrip (ICAO code: EPSD; Polish: Lotnisko Szczecin-Dąbie; German: Flugplatz Stettin-Dąbie), historically also known as Stettin Airfield (German: Flugplatz Stettin), and Dąbie Lake Airfield (German: Flughafen am Dammschen See), is a small airstrip on the Eastern bank of the Oder river in Dąbie, Szczecin, Poland. The original grass landing strip was built in 1921 and was used for domestic flights of Deutsche Luft Hansa over the following years. After World War II, LOT began serving the airfield, which remained the only one in Szczecin until 23 May 1967, when Solidarity Szczecin–Goleniów Airport was opened.

Zdroje (German: Finkenwalde) is a municipal neighborhood of the city of Szczecin, Poland situated on the right bank of the river East Oder, south-east of the Szczecin Old Town, and south-west of Dąbie, Szczecin. Within Nazi Germany, the suburb was the site of Dietrich Bonhoeffer's illegal (after 1937) Theological Seminary of the Confessing Church between 1935 and 1937, and during World War II, the Germans operated a forced labour subcamp of the prison in Goleniów in the district.

The French Reformed Church Cemetery, after 1945 known as the Żabikowo Cemetery, was a Reformed Christian cemetery in Szczecin, Poland used by the French community. It was located between current Storrady Street, Wawelska Street, Parkowa Street, and Kapitańska Street, in what now forms part of the Stefan Żeromski Park. The cemetery was founded in the first part of the 18th-century, and remained operational until 1937, and was eventually demolished in 1965.

The Stettiner General-Anzeiger Building in Szczecin (German pronunciation: [ʃtɛˈtiːnɐ ɡenəˈʁaːl ˈanˌt͡saɪ̯ɡɐ]) was an office building, which was located at the corner of today's Opłotki Street and New Market, in the Old Town, in the Centre district. It was destroyed in a bombardment in the 1940s.

The Friedrich Pitzschky Tenement House was a tenement house, which was located at the corner of today's Wielka Odrzańska Street and New Market, in the Old Town, in the Centre district. It was destroyed in a bombardment in 1944.
