Little York is an unincorporated community located along the border of Alexandria and Holland townships in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States. Little York is located on County Route 614 (Spring Mills Road, Little York Road) 3.1 miles (5.0 km) north-northeast of Milford. Little York has a post office with ZIP code 08834.

Mount Pleasant is an unincorporated community located along County Route 519 on the border of Alexandria Township and Holland Township, in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. The Mount Pleasant Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

Hunterdon Plateau is a plateau in western Hunterdon County, New Jersey. It borders the higher Musconetcong Mountain to the northwest, the Delaware River to the west, Amwell Valley to the south and the lower lying areas of the Newark Basin to the east. The plateau's edge follows a line from Raven Rock to Flemington. From there it follows a curved path west of the South Branch Raritan River until it meets with the Musconetcongs. It is generally unmarred as a plateau, excluding some of the small valleys of tributaries along the Delaware, of Lopatcong Creek and Wickecheoke Creek and Cakepoulin/Capoolong Creek Valley. Other features are Thatcher's Hill and Sand Hill which form southeastward extensions to the plateau due to a valley of Walnut Brook and the curve of the plateau there. This also occurs between Lockatong Valley and the Delaware River. A small ridge called Barren Ridge runs through Alexandria and Union Township rises slightly above the rest of the plateau. Another feature in Holland Township called Gravel Hill also rises above the rest of the plateau. There are numerous cliffs along the Delaware where the plateau meets it such as Milford Bluffs where prickly pear cacti grow, a rarity in Hunterdon County. The plateau includes the boroughs of Milford and Frenchtown, as well as part of the borough of Flemington and parts of Kingwood, Raritan, Franklin, Union, Bethlehem, Alexandria, Delaware, and Holland townships. Because of the soil types and relatively flat terrain on the plateau, there are still many farms across the area.

The Milford Borough School District is a community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade from Milford, in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States.As of the 2018–19 school year, the district, comprising one school, had an enrollment of 88 students and 11.4 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 7.7:1. Milford is a borough located in western Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 1,232, a decrease of one person (−0.1%) from the 2010 census count of 1,233, which in turn reflected an increase of 38 (+3.2%) from the 1,195 counted at the 2000 census.Milford was incorporated as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on April 15, 1911, from portions of Holland Township, based on the results of a referendum held on May 8, 1911. The borough's incorporation was confirmed on March 13, 1925.The borough is located on the Delaware River in the western portion of Hunterdon County, known as the Hunterdon Plateau. The Borough dates to the mid-18th century when a grist mill was established beside a river in what was then Bethlehem Township. After the mill was destroyed by fire in 1769, the settlement became known as Burnt Mills in Alexandria Township. The area was renamed as "Lowreytown" after Thomas Lowrey purchased land in the area in 1796. The community became commonly known as "Millford" or "Millsford" by the beginning of the 19th century, but by 1844 the name had lost a letter or two. By 1863 it was consistently spelled as "Milford". The community was incorporated in 1911 but the official incorporation was not registered until 1925.

The Upper Black Eddy–Milford Bridge is a free bridge over the Delaware River, owned and operated by the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission. The bridge carries Bridge Street, connecting CR 519 in Milford, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, with Pennsylvania Route 32 in Upper Black Eddy, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The bridge currently has a 55-ton weight limit, the heaviest free bridge on the Delaware.

Hakihokake Creek (also known as Quequacommissacong Creek or Milford Creek) is a 8.4-mile-long (13.5 km) tributary of the Delaware River in Hunterdon County, New Jersey in the United States. The Hakihokake's headwaters begins in the Musconetcong Mountains in forested wetlands in Holland and Alexandria townships and runs southwest through Sweet Hollow and Little York before joining the Delaware River just upstream of its sister tributary Harihokake Creek at Milford.

Upper Black Eddy, locally referred to as UBE, is a village located in northern Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States. The village is 58 miles (93 km) west-southwest of New York City and 45 miles (72 km) north of Philadelphia. Upper Black Eddy is officially part of Bridgeton Township, which also borders the adjacent borough of Milford, New Jersey via the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission's free Upper Black Eddy-Milford Bridge over the Delaware River.

The Riegel Ridge Community Center is a historic building located on County Route 519 in the Riegel Ridge section of Holland Township near Milford in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 7, 1996, for its significance in architecture, entertainment and social history.

Lodi is an unincorporated community in Tinicum Township in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States. Lodi is located along Lodi Hill Road just southwest of an intersection with Pennsylvania Route 32 along the Delaware River in the northern corner of Tinicum Township near the Bridgeton Township border.

Alexandria Township is a township in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 4,809, a decrease of 129 (−2.6%) from the 2010 census count of 4,938, which in turn reflected an increase of 240 (+5.1%) from the 4,698 counted in the 2000 census.Alexandria was formed by Royal charter on March 5, 1765, from portions of Bethlehem Township, and was incorporated as one of New Jersey's initial 104 townships by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 21, 1798. Portions of the township were taken to form Frenchtown (April 4, 1867), Holland Township (April 13, 1874, restored to Alexandria on March 4, 1878, and recreated on March 11, 1879) and Milford (April 15, 1911). The township was named for James Alexander, a surveyor who served as New Jersey Attorney General and who had acquired 10,000 acres (4,000 ha) of land in the area in 1744.
