Its address is 9015 Sunset Boulevard. The bottom level of the building is the restaurant, The Rainbow Bar and Grill. Upstairs is an exclusive club called "Over the Rainbow", which consists of a full bar, a dance floor, and a DJ booth. The restaurant is next to The Roxy Theatre and 1 OAK; formerly Gazzarri's, Billboard Live, and The Key Club.

The London Fog was a 1960s nightclub located on the Sunset Strip in what was then unincorporated Los Angeles County, California (now in the city of West Hollywood). It is most notable for being the venue where The Doors had their first regular gigs for several months in early 1966 before becoming the house band at the nearby Whisky a Go Go.

The club has been the host for bands including The Stooges, Alice Cooper (who recorded a live album there in 1969), Parliament-Funkadelic, The Doors, Golden Earring, No Doubt, System of a Down, The Byrds, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Chicago, Germs, Buffalo Springfield, Steppenwolf, Van Halen, Johnny Rivers, X, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, KISS, Guns N' Roses, Death, AC/DC, Linkin Park, Metallica, Mötley Crüe, and Phil Seymour.

The Viper Room is a nightclub and live music venue located on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California, United States. It was established as The Viper Room in 1993 and was partly owned by actor Johnny Depp. The other part owner was Sal Jenco who starred in 21 Jump Street with Depp. The club became known for being a hangout of the young Hollywood elite, and was the site where actor River Phoenix died of a drug overdose on the night before Halloween in 1993. In early 1995, Australian singer and actor Jason Donovan suffered a drug-induced seizure at the club and survived. In November 1997, Australian rock star Michael Hutchence played his last public performance in the Viper Room, a week before his suicide. The Viper Room has undergone several changes in ownership, and continues to host music of multiple genres, including metal, punk rock, and alternative rock. While predominantly known as a music venue, the Viper Room also hosts a lower level below the stage and audience area, which is home to a large whiskey bar.

Jumbo's Clown Room, often shorthanded to Jumbo's, is a "bikini bar" (non-nude strip club) located on Hollywood Boulevard in the Hollywood Hills West neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The bar opened on July 27, 1970, and later became a strip club in 1982.

Norma Triangle is a residential neighborhood in West Hollywood, California. It encompasses the area bound by Doheny Drive and Beverly Hills on the west, Sunset Boulevard and Holloway Drive on the north, and Santa Monica Boulevard on the south. The small district has the shape of a right triangle. The neighborhood is walkable and upscale with cafes and restaurants, shopping, nightclubs, parks, and bars in close proximity. The Norma Triangle includes a small portion of the Sunset Strip and a large portion of "Boys' Town" a popular gay district on Santa Monica Blvd. It is also home to the Ticketmaster corporate headquarters, the largest employer in West Hollywood, as well as a number of IAC/InterActiveCorp subsidiaries, including Tinder and CityGrid Media. The Norma Triangle neighborhood is represented by The Norma Triangle Neighborhood Watch with the main goals of creating a tight knit community, ensuring residents feel safe and secure, and voicing neighborhood concerns with the City Council members of West Hollywood. Book Soup is an independent bookstore located at 8818 Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, California, and is the largest general interest independent bookstore in Hollywood. The store is "known for its tall, teetering stacks and mazes of shelves crammed with titles that attracted entertainment and tourist industry clientele..." Popular with many in the entertainment industry, the store continues to hosts events featuring a variety of celebrity authors who have so far included Muhammad Ali, Howard Stern, Annie Leibovitz, Chuck Palahniuk, Jenna Jameson, Hunter S. Thompson, Norman Mailer, and The Doors. Considered a "cultural fixture" of the Sunset Strip, Book Soup has also been featured as a location in a number of films and television shows.

9200 Sunset (formerly Luckman Plaza) is a commercial office building at 9200 and 9220 Sunset Boulevard at the west end of the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California. Designed by Charles Luckman, the project consists of two office buildings totaling 300,000 sq ft (28,000 m2) of office and restaurant space, which are connected by a central lobby.

The Doheny Plaza is a high-rise residential building in West Hollywood, California. It was designed in the modernist architectural style. When it was built by Julian Weinstock in 1963, it was the first high-rise residential building in Los Angeles. By 1966, Weinstock gave a speech about it at the Biltmore Hotel.

Sierra Towers is a residential 31-story high-rise condominium building in West Hollywood, California, United States. located at 9255 Doheny Road, adjacent to Beverly Hills. It was designed by the renowned Beverly Hills mid-century modern architect Jack A. Charney, who studied under Richard Neutra and Rudolph Schindler. Completed in 1965 as an apartment building, it was originally called the Spoon Apartment Building. Building amenities include 24-hour security, concierge service, a gym, and an outdoor swimming pool.

The Lloyd Wright Home and Studio is a historic two-story house in West Hollywood, California, U.S.. It was built in 1927. It was designed by architect Lloyd Wright a son of Frank Lloyd Wright. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since April 6, 1987.

Ah Men was a clothing store in West Hollywood which catered to a gay male clientele. It was founded in the late 1950s or early 1960s by Jerry Furlow and Don Cook. It specialized in flamboyant styles, including garments made from see-through mesh, form-fitting swimwear, "erotic" underwear, and flowing caftans. It has been called the first gay retail business in West Hollywood, an area which would eventually come to be known as one of the most prominent gay villages in the United States. Ah Men also operated one of the first gay mail order businesses, which it advertised in physique magazines and other gay-interest publications. Between its retail business, mail-order operations, and manufacturing, Ah Men employed more than fifty people. Its success paved the way for other gay-oriented clothing boutiques in the area such as All American Boy, as well as the similar mail-order business International Male, which debuted in the mid-70s.It was originally located at 8933 Santa Monica Boulevard. In 1972, it relocated to the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and San Vicente Boulevard, which is now the site of a bank. In the same year, two other locations were opened, one in Silver Lake, Los Angeles and the other in Houston, Texas.
