Nørre Nebel railway station

Until January 1, 2007, Blaabjerg (Danish: Blåbjerg - literally blue mountain) was a municipality (Danish, kommune) in Ribe County on the west coast of the Jutland peninsula in southwest Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 254 km2, and had a total population of 6,509 (2005). Its latest mayor was Preben Olesen. The site of its municipal council was the town of Nørre Nebel. The municipality was created in 1970 due to a kommunalreform ("Municipality Reform") that combined the following parishes: Henne, Kvong, Lunde, Lydum, Lønne, Nørre Nebel, and Ovtrup Parish. Blaabjerg municipality ceased to exist due to Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It was merged with the former Blåvandshuk, Helle, Varde, and Ølgod municipalities to form a new Varde municipality. Blaabjerg and the city of Nørre Nebel is home to a landing station where multiple transatlantic telephone cable systems are terminated, including DANICE, CANTAT-3 and Havfrue (the latter replacing TAT-14 in end of 2020).

Nørre Nebel is a town in southwest Jutland with a population of 1,311 (1 January 2023). The town is influenced by tourism, and most of the inhabitants are working with handicrafts, trade or services. Nørre Nebel is located about 23 kilometers from Varde and Tarm. Nørre Nebel is served by Nørre Nebel railway station, the northern terminus of the Varde–Nørre Nebel railway line.

Henne Kirkeby Kro is an inn (kro) in the village of Henne Kirkeby in Varde Municipality, Denmark. It was established in 1790 and since 2007 has been owned by Flemming Skouboe. The restaurant is managed by former chef Garrey Dawson and under chef Paul Cunningham was awarded a Michelin star in 2016 and a second in 2017.

Outrup (or Ovtrup) is a town in Varde Municipality in the Region of Southern Denmark. The town has a population of 1,045 (1 January 2023).

Lunde station is a railway station serving the village of Lunde in West Jutland, Denmark.The station is located on the Varde–Nørre Nebel railway line from Varde to Nørre Nebel. The station opened on 15 March 1903 with the opening of the railway line. The train services are currently operated by Arriva which run frequent regional train services from Nørre Nebel to Varde and Esbjerg with onward connections from there to the rest of Denmark.

Nymindegab Museum is a local history and art museum located at Nymindegab in Varde Municipality, Denmark. It is operated by Varde Museum (Vardemuseerne) together with the small museum at the former Nymindegab Rescue Station.

Tipperne and Værneengene is a peninsula that is located in the southern end of Ringkøbing Fjord (Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality, Region Midtjylland), on the west coast of Jutland, Denmark. The area, an important stopover for migratory birds, was created by sand deposits and is only a few hundred years old. It has been publicly owned since the latter half of the 18th century, and in 1898 provisions on conservation were introduced to protect the rich bird life in the area. In 1928 a bird reservation was established and a groundskeeper was hired. The reserve, which falls under the control of Denmark's Environmental Ministry and is managed by the Danish Forest and Nature Agency (Danish: Skov- og Naturstyrelsen) via Oxbøl Statsskovdistrikt, has a total area of about 2,200 ha, of which about 1,500 ha are shallow water areas around the peninsula. Tipperne is part of a larger conservation of Ringkøbing Fjord, which is also designated as a Ramsar wetland, that is, an international area of importance for waterfowl in accordance with the Ramsar Convention and EF's bird protection directive. So that the birds may have peace and quiet, Tipperne is normally closed to the public. However, there are exceptions, usually on Sunday mornings.

Nymindegab lies in Southwest Jutland, Denmark, and is a former fishing village by the former outflow at the southern end of Ringkøbing Fjord. In the summer, it is a well-attended tourist town with a permanent population of 205 (1 January 2021). It is located in Varde Municipality and belongs to Region of Southern Denmark. The town is situated at the southern end of the isthmus of Holmsland Dunes, which demarcates the fjord from the North Sea. Just northeast of Nymindegab lies the bird reservation of Tipperne on a peninsula in Ringkøbing Fjord. In Nymindegab there is a Nymindegab Museum, where one can see, among other things, a whale skeleton, pictures from the area, and nature depicted by artists who have remained in the area over time. At Nymindegab Rescue Station one can see Denmark's oldest lifeboat, which from 1966 was kept at the National Museum of Denmark in Copenhagen, but was returned to Nymindegab in 1977.

The Oksbøl Refugee Camp was the largest camp for German refugees in Denmark after World War II.

Kvong is a small town with a population of only 203 (1 January 2023) located in Varde Municipality in the southwestern part of the Danish peninsula of Jutland.

Oksbøl is a town in southwestern Jutland in the Varde Municipality, in Region of Southern Denmark. As of 1 January 2023, it has a population of 2,844.Oksbøl Refugee Camp houses the refugee museum FLUGT, which opened in 2022. The museum describes the story of refugees from various conflicts throughout history as well as convey the history of the refugee camp. The museum is designed by Bjarke Ingels Group. Oksbøl is connected to the rest of Jutland via the town's two railway stations, Oksbøl station and Baunhøj station on the Vestbanen railway line, which runs trains between Nørre Nebel and Esbjerg via Varde.
