Fulya (Istanbul Metro)

Turkish Paralympic Committee (Turkish: Türkiye Milli Paralimpik Komitesi) is the National Paralympic Committee representing Turkey. It was founded in 2002.The organization's office is situated at Hatta Halim Sok. 13/1 in Gayrettepe neighborhood of Beşiktaş, Istanbul.

On 2 April 2024, a fire broke out at the Masquerade Club, in the Gayrettepe neighborhood of Beşiktaş, Istanbul, Turkey, killing at least 29 people.

Zincirlikuyu is a station on the Istanbul Metrobus Bus rapid transit line. It is located beneath Barbaros Boulevard and between the Istanbul Inner Beltway in south Levent. The station is a terminus for three of the seven Metrobus bus routes, leading to frequent transfers between Buses. A connection to the M2 of the Istanbul Metro is available as well as several city bus lines. Due to its location near the city's main financial district, Zincirlikuyu is one of the busiest stations on the Metrobus system. The station was opened on 8 September 2008 as part of the ten station eastward expansion of the line.

The Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency, BRSA (Turkish: Bankacılık Düzenleme ve Denetleme Kurumu, BDDK) is an independent agency in Turkey whose task is to regulate and supervise the banking system in the country. It aims to "provid[e] reliability and stability in financial markets", "ensur[e] the efficient running of the credit system", and protect consumer rights.

The Barbaros Boulevard (Turkish: Barbaros Bulvarı) is a 3.1 km (1.9 mi)-long major street in the Beşiktaş district on the European side of Istanbul, Turkey. It runs in a straight line in south–north direction from Beşiktaş Square over Yıldız up to Zincirlikuyu, where it passes over to Büyükdere Avenue. It is named after the Ottoman admiral of the fleet Hayreddin Barbarossa (Turkish: Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa) (c. 1478–1546), whose tomb is located in Beşiktaş. It is a major artery of the Istanbul Central Business District, which is not located in the historic center of the city, but rather north of Taksim Square.The 1.5 km (0.93 mi) long boulevard ascends a slope from 1.5 m (4.9 ft) elevation at Beşiktaş Square up to 135 m (443 ft) at Balmumcu before Zincirlikuyu. This part of the street is 50 m (160 ft) wide with a slope gradient of 8%, while the part between Balmumcu and Zincirlikuyu has a width of 30 m (98 ft) and a slope gradient of 2–3%.

Yıldız is an underground station on the M7 line of the Istanbul Metro in Beşiktaş. The station is located on Barbaros Boulevard in the Yıldız neighborhood of Beşiktaş. With a depth of 71 meters, it is the deepest station in the Istanbul Metro system. The station has 3 entrances; Ertuğrul Sitesi, Yıldız University and Dikilitaş. The M7 line operates as fully automatic unattended train operation (UTO). The station consists of an island platform with two tracks. Since the M7 is an ATO line, protective gates on each side of the platform open only when a train is in the station.The station opened on 2 January, 2023 as the first phase of the Mecidiyeköy-Kabataş extension.

Gayrettepe is an underground rapid transit station on the M2 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located in east-central Şişli under Büyükdere Avenue just south of Levent. The station opened on 16 September 2000 and is one of the original six stations of the M2 line. In 2007 a connection to the Istanbul Metrobus at Zincirlikuyu junction was built. Gayrettepe has an island platform serviced by two tracks. Gayrettepe will also be the southeastern terminus of the M11 line, which will run northwest to the Istanbul New Airport. Completion of the M11 is expected within late 2022.

Mecidiyeköy is a neighbourhood located in the Şişli district of Istanbul, Turkey. It is also one of the prominent business quarters of Istanbul. It is situated between Fulya, Kuştepe, Gültepe, Esentepe, and Gülbahar neighbourhoods. According to the 2008 demographic data, the population of the neighbourhood is 20,331. The neighbourhood of Mecidiyeköy took its name from the Ottoman sultan Abdülmecid I, since the neighbourhood started to be settled during his reign.

Istanbul Bilim University is a private university located in Istanbul, Turkey. It was established in 2006 by the Turkish Cardiology Foundation.

Ali Sami Yen Stadium (Turkish: Ali Sami Yen Stadyumu) was the home of the football club Galatasaray S.K. in Istanbul, Turkey, from 1964 to 2010. It is named after the founder of the club, Ali Sami Yen. The stadium had a capacity of 23,477 (all-seater) and was situated in the Mecidiyeköy quarter of the Şişli district, at the center of the European side of the city.

AKUT Search and Rescue Association (Turkish: AKUT Arama Kurtarma Derneği) is a Turkish non-governmental organization for disaster search and rescue relief. It was established in 1995 as a grassroots organization by seven leading outdoor athletes of Turkey and officially founded as an association in 1996. The organization delivers emergency and disaster relief to people trapped in caves, lost on mountains or to victims of earthquake or flood disasters at home and abroad. The initial purpose of the association's establishment was to provide search and rescue relief for climbers in emergency as no local organization of this type existed so far.

Profilo Shopping Center (Turkish: Profilo Alışveriş Merkezi), opened in 1997, is a shopping mall located in the business quarter of Mecidiyeköy, Istanbul, Turkey.
