Gayrettepe is an underground rapid transit station on the M2 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located in east-central Şişli under Büyükdere Avenue just south of Levent. The station opened on 16 September 2000 and is one of the original six stations of the M2 line. In 2007 a connection to the Istanbul Metrobus at Zincirlikuyu junction was built. Gayrettepe has an island platform serviced by two tracks. Gayrettepe will also be the southeastern terminus of the M11 line, which will run northwest to the Istanbul New Airport. Completion of the M11 is expected within late 2022.

Istanbul Bilim University is a private university located in Istanbul, Turkey. It was established in 2006 by the Turkish Cardiology Foundation.

On 2 April 2024, a fire broke out at the Masquerade Club, in the Gayrettepe neighborhood of Beşiktaş, Istanbul, Turkey, killing at least 29 people.

Zincirlikuyu is a station on the Istanbul Metrobus Bus rapid transit line. It is located beneath Barbaros Boulevard and between the Istanbul Inner Beltway in south Levent. The station is a terminus for three of the seven Metrobus bus routes, leading to frequent transfers between Buses. A connection to the M2 of the Istanbul Metro is available as well as several city bus lines. Due to its location near the city's main financial district, Zincirlikuyu is one of the busiest stations on the Metrobus system. The station was opened on 8 September 2008 as part of the ten station eastward expansion of the line.

Zincirlikuyu is a quarter of the Şişli district on the European side of Istanbul, Turkey. Part of Esentepe neighborhood, it is situated on a hilltop on the district border to Beşiktaş in the east. Having undergone redevelopment in recent years, the area is also a busy bus hub. Zincirlikuyu is known as a major junction, where Barbaros Boulevard coming from Beşiktaş meets Büyükdere Avenue in direction to Levent, and crosses over the motorway O-1 connecting the Bosphorus Bridge with another important hub Mecidiyeköy.

Raffles Istanbul is a 5-star hotel in Istanbul that is managed by Raffles Hotels & Resorts. The hotel opened on September 1, 2014. Designed by Emre Arolat & Tabanlıoğlu Architecture, the hotel has a height of 134 meters, making it one of Istanbul’s most noticeable buildings.

Çiftçi Towers is a mixed-use complex of two skyscrapers in the Gayrettepe neighborhood of the Beşiktaş district in Istanbul, Turkey. It comprises the Çiftçi Tower A (194 m / 45 floors) and Çiftçi Tower B (194 m / 45 floors). The towers are among the tallest skyscrapers on the European side of Istanbul and have a prominent visual presence on the city's skyline at the junction of Levent, Zincirlikuyu and Gayrettepe (Istanbul Metro). The buildings were designed by John McAslan of John McAslan and Partners.

Zorlu Center is a multiple-use complex in the Beşiktaş district of Istanbul, Turkey containing an upscale shopping mall, a five-star Raffles hotel and a Cinemaximum megaplex, as well as residences and offices. It is home to Zorlu PSM, the largest performing arts center in the country, as well as the country's first Apple Store.Built in 2013 to a design by Emre Arolat Architects and Tabanlıoğlu Architects, the center is situated at the junction of the European connection of the Bosphorus Bridge and Büyükdere Avenue, which runs through the central business districts of Levent and Maslak.

Zorlu PSM (Turkish: Zorlu Performans Sanatları Merkezi, English: Zorlu Performing Arts Center) inside Zorlu Center is currently the largest dedicated performing arts theatre and concert hall in Istanbul, Turkey. It is located in the Beşiktaş district on the European side of the city, near the junction between Barbaros Boulevard and Büyükdere Avenue, in close proximity to Levent. The multi-venue facility was designed by Turkish architect Emre Arolot, with the two main theaters designed by Anne Minors. The entire facility measures approximately 55,000 sq. meters (595,000 sq. ft.) and includes gallery and exhibition spaces, public lobby spaces, a VIP Lounge, five levels of administrative and stage support spaces, and one of the largest mainstage areas in Europe. The complex opened in October 2013 under the leadership of Founding CEO Ray Cullom with an extended run of the West End Musical Jersey Boys. Zorlu PSM hosts a variety of art and culture events, including shows, musicals and artists and bands. Zorlu PSM is seen to play an important role in turning the city into a centre of attraction. It aims to become one of the most prestigious art centres in Europe and the world. Focusing on the universality, diversity and richness of arts since its launch in October 2013, Zorlu PSM hosted more than 2 million individuals in 5,000 events between 2013 and 2018. Creating an environment that generates approximately 15% of the arts, culture and entertainment industry in Turkey, Zorlu PSM also offers a lively socializing platform for its guests.

The Zincirlikuyu Cemetery (Turkish: Zincirlikuyu Mezarlığı) is a modern burial ground residing on the European part of Istanbul, Turkey. It is administered by the Metropolitan Municipality. Many prominent figures from the world of politics, business, sports and arts rest here. The cemetery is located on the Büyükdere Avenue in Zincirlikuyu, Şişli district between Esentepe and Levent neighborhoods. It is Istanbul's first cemetery established in a contemporary structure. Planned in 1935, the burial place reached in the 1950s to its boundaries of today. It has an area of 0.381 km2 (94 acres), which is full, excluding family graves. A mosque within the cemetery, built and donated by the Turkish entrepreneur İbrahim Bodur, was opened to service on 2 April 2004. The mosque is specially constructed for burial prayers, and has a capacity of 500 people.The office of the İstanbul Cemeteries Administration is located in the building at the entrance of the cemetery. Over the gate of the cemetery a verse from the Qur'an reminds "Her canlı ölümü tadacaktır" (Every living thing will taste death).

Fulya is an underground station on the M7 line of the Istanbul Metro in Beşiktaş. The station is located on Gönenoğlu Street in the Gayrettepe neighborhood of Beşiktaş. Unlike the name suggests, it is not located in or nearby the Fulya neighborhood of Şişli. The station has two entrances; Gayrettepe and Dikilitaş. The M7 line operates as fully automatic unattended train operation (UTO). The station consists of an island platform with two tracks. Since the M7 is an ATO line, protective gates on each side of the platform open only when a train is in the station. However, until the line is extended to Kabataş the trains will only use the first platform with the second platform remaining closed.The station opened on 2 January, 2023 as the first phase of the Mecidiyeköy-Kabataş extension.
