Central Bank Center

Rupp Arena at Central Bank Center is an arena located in downtown Lexington, Kentucky, United States. Since its opening in 1976, it has been the centerpiece of Central Bank Center (formerly Lexington Center), a convention and shopping facility owned by an arm of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, which is located next to the Lexington Hyatt and Hilton hotels. Rupp Arena also serves as home court to the University of Kentucky men's basketball program, and is named after legendary former Kentucky coach Adolph Rupp with an official capacity of 20,500. In 2014 and 2015, in Rupp Arena, the Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball team was second in the nation in college basketball home attendance. Rupp Arena also regularly hosts concerts, conventions and shows.

The DeLong Agricultural Implements Warehouse, on Patterson St. in Lexington, Kentucky, was built in 1881. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It was a four-story warehouse, about 44 by 150 feet (13 m × 46 m) in plan. It was 16 feet (4.9 m) tall on its first floor and 12 feet (3.7 m) on its upper floors.The structure was "basically sound" in 1980. The warehouse is no longer in place.

The Hyatt Regency Lexington is a 17-story, 366-room hotel located in Lexington, Kentucky. It opened in 1977 and is 190 feet (58 meters) in height. The hotel is located adjacent to Rupp Arena.

Mary Todd Lincoln House in Lexington, Kentucky, USA, was the girlhood home of Mary Todd, the future first lady and wife of the 16th President, Abraham Lincoln. Today the fourteen-room house is a museum containing period furniture, portraits, and artifacts from the Todd and Lincoln families. The museum introduces visitors to the complex life of Mary Todd Lincoln, from her refined upbringing in a wealthy, slave-holding family to her reclusive years as a mourning widow.The house was built c. 1803–1806 as an inn and tavern, which was called "The Sign of the Green Tree" before its purchased by Mary's father, Robert Smith Todd, for the Todd family. The family moved into the three-story home in 1832. Mary Todd lived in this home until 1839, when she moved to Springfield, Illinois. After their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln visited her family here.

Triangle Park is a private park built for public use, located at 400 W Main Street in Lexington, Kentucky. The park is currently used as a source of entertainment for local citizens.

GameDay Center was a planned 15-story residential condominium at the corner of Broadway and West High Street in Lexington, Kentucky. The 188-unit project was planned by Gameday Centers LLC who had hoped to construct the tower to give University of Kentucky basketball fans a residence near Rupp Arena. Retail stores would have occupied the first floor, with a sports-themed restaurant on the second. Parking would have been located in an underground three-story garage. The concept, according to Gameday Centers, would have been patterned from similar projects in Auburn, Alabama, Knoxville, Tennessee, Tallahassee, Florida and Athens, Georgia. The Gameday Center lot contained a vacant lot with a historic structure and a small one-story office flat. The historic building, constructed in 1808, would have been preserved as a fitness center and conference facility; the one-story office building would have been demolished. Construction would have begun in spring 2005 as the 1.3-acre (5,300 m2) corner lot was adequately zoned, however, the architectural review board had concerns that the height of the building would overshadow the nearby residents in the South Hill district. On February 15, 2005, the Gameday Center was shortened from 15 to seven-stories due to worries from South Hill residents that the residential tower would have "dwarfed" nearby two and three-story rowhouses and townhomes. The plans that were unveiled called for 8,000 sq ft (700 m2). of first-floor retail followed by a two-story parking structure and four-stories of residential space above. This plan received welcome support from most adjacent residents. It was later revised in June to ten stories with 126 units. The proposed project now contained 7,600 sq ft (710 m2). of first-floor retail, with 180 parking spaces spaced between the first and third floors with seven-stories of residential condos above. It was rejected on June 21 because the city of Lexington's historic preservation staff disapproved of the project because it failed to meet any of the "design criteria for a structure in a historic district" and was once again too tall for its surroundings. It was considered "overkill" instead of "infill." More than 50 people had made their initial deposit towards their condo. However, their deposits were returned and all projects regarding Gameday are on indefinite hold.

The Hilton Lexington/Downtown is a 240 feet (73 m), 22-story multi-use skyscraper in Downtown Lexington, Kentucky. Floors 1 through 17 comprise the 366-room hotel, while floors 18 through 22 are privately owned condominiums.

The Kincaid Towers is a 22-floor high-rise in Lexington, Kentucky. It is located along Vine Street between Broadway and Mill Street. Its exterior is polished buff concrete with blue tinted glass, with terraces on the 5th, 10th, 14th, and 21st floor. It has a three-story atrium, and a skywalk that connects to the adjacent Hyatt Regency Hotel and Central Bank Center. It is named after Garvice Delmar Kincaid.

The Triangle Center is primarily an office complex with several restaurants and a coffee shop in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. Originally envisioned as a shopping and dining complex bound by Broadway, East Main and South Mill Streets, it was constructed by the Webb Cos, to complement adjacent Victorian Square which had opened only one year prior.It was first announced on October 1, 1984, by the Webb Cos. as a "festival marketplace" with boutiques, shops, and food kiosks. The Festival Marketplace, as it was first named, was a combined effort by the developer with the Lexington Financial Center to replace the failed Galleria project. It was to be modeled after Harbor Place in Baltimore, Maryland, Waterside in Norfolk, Virginia, Faneuil Hall in Boston, Massachusetts and Toledo, Ohio's Portside. The open-air yet enclosed 114,000 sq ft (10,600 m2). structure would contain numerous small shops, a food court with a common dining area and a restaurant or a nightclub. A farmers market was also considered as a tenant. In addition to the marketplace, $7.5 million in state aid was announced by then-Governor Martha Layne Collins towards the construction of a six-level parking structure that would serve Festival Marketplace and the Lexington Financial Center.

The Lexington Opera House is a theatre located at 401 West Short Street in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. Built in 1886, the Opera House replaced the former theatre, located on the corner of Main and Broadway, after fire destroyed it in January 1886. The new Opera House was designed by the renowned architect Oscar Cobb and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its historical and architectural significance. It is currently owned and operated by the Lexington Center Corporation, and it hosts ballets, opera, children's productions, family shows, comedy, music and professional national Broadway tours. The Lexington Opera House is one of 14 theatres in the country built before 1900 with less than 1,000 seats that is still in operation as a live performance venue.

The Opera House and Yates Bookshop Building in Lexington, Kentucky, are adjacent buildings listed together on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975, and they are contributing resources in the North Broadway-Short Street Historic District. The 3-story Lexington Opera House was designed by Oscar Cobb and constructed by Herman L. Rowe in 1886 after a fire earlier that year destroyed Lexington's previous opera house. The Opera House has been described either as Gothic Revival or Queen Anne in its facade. Above the third floor, the facade features a prominent sheet iron relief decoration with the appearance of cut stone.The 3-story Yates Bookshop Building was constructed about two years after an 1873 fire destroyed the Broadway Hotel. The Italianate building was part of a row of buildings completed after the fire, one of only a few of the buildings to survive urban renewal in the 20th century.

WCDA (106.3 FM, "Hits 106.3") is a radio station licensed to Versailles, Kentucky, United States, broadcasting to the greater Lexington metropolitan area. It plays adult top 40 music, as it is a Mediabase Hot AC reporter. It is owned by L.M. Communications. The station's studios are located at Triangle Center in downtown Lexington, and its transmitter is located atop Lexington Financial Center, also in downtown.
