Radio Nueva Vida (New Life) is a Spanish-language Christian radio network based in Camarillo, California, United States. It is owned and operated by The Association for Community Education, Inc., a California non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established in 1981.

Camarillo Ranch House, also known as Rancho Calleguas and Adolfo Camarillo House, is a Queen Anne-style Victorian house in Camarillo, California. Built in 1892, the 6,000-square-foot (560 m2) house was designed by architects Herman Anlauf and Franklin Ward. Adolfo Camarillo operated the ranch for 78 years, changing the operations from mostly cattle to crops. He was a leading innovator, growing lima beans, barley, corn, alfalfa, walnuts, and citrus and eucalyptus trees. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

Camarillo ( KAM-ə-REE-oh) is a city in Ventura County in the U.S. state of California. As of the 2020 United States Census, the population was 70,741, an increase of 5,540 from the 65,201 counted in the 2010 Census. Camarillo is named for brothers Juan and Adolfo Camarillo, prominent Californios who owned Rancho Calleguas and founded the city. California State University, Channel Islands is housed on the former grounds of the Camarillo State Hospital.

Cornerstone Christian School (CCS) is a private Christian school in Camarillo, California. The school provides instruction from preschool through eighth grade. CCS was established in 1981 as a K–12 school; high school grades were dropped in 2011 due to falling enrollment. The school is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

Rancho Calleguas was a 9,998-acre (40.46 km2) Mexican land grant in present-day Ventura County, California given in 1837 by Governor Juan Alvarado to José Pedro Ruiz.The grant was south of Rancho Las Posas, east of Rancho El Rio de Santa Clara o la Colonia, north of the Rancho Guadalasca, and west of Rancho El Conejo. It encompassed the Santa Rosa Valley and present-day Camarillo.

Ventura County Community College District (VCCCD) is the system of public community colleges in Ventura County, California. The district is a member of the California Community Colleges System. VCCCD member colleges are Ventura College in Ventura, California, Moorpark College in Moorpark, California and Oxnard College in Oxnard, California. The district was formed in 1962 after previous administration of Ventura College had been in combination with the Ventura High School District. The district offices share a building with the Ventura Unified School District at 255 W. Stanley Ave., Ventura. The building was the corporate headquarters for Kinkos until 2002.

Adolfo Camarillo High School (ACHS) is a public high school in Camarillo, California established 1956. The school is part of the Oxnard Union High School District and serves students in grades 9–12 in east Camarillo, Somis, and the Santa Rosa Valley. ACHS is named for Adolfo Camarillo, a prominent Californio ranchero and founder of the city which bears his name; he donated part of Rancho Calleguas for the high school.

Camarillo Premium Outlets (formerly called the Camarillo Factory Outlets) is an open-air outlet mall located in Camarillo, California. Camarillo Premium Outlets is owned and managed by the Simon Property Group. The Camarillo Premium Outlets include around 160 stores, including Versace and Jimmy Choo.

St. John's Hospital Camarillo is a hospital in Camarillo, California, United States, operated by Dignity Health, along with its sister hospital St. John's Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, California.The hospital was founded in 1974 by a group of community leaders and physicians. In addition to its 81 acute-care beds, St. John's Hospital Camarillo has a 99-bed extended care unit and the only hyperbaric medicine unit in western Ventura County.Darren Lee serves as president and CEO of both St. John's Hospital Camarillo and St. John's Regional Medical Center.

The City of Camarillo Public Library serves the residents of Camarillo, California. Camarillo Public Library will issue a free library card to any applicant with acceptable identification, as provided in the library's registration policy. Camarillo Public Library is located at 4101 Las Posas Road, on the corner of Las Posas Road and Fieldgate Drive.

Rancho Campana High School is an 800 student comprehensive academy high school for grades 9-12 that was built in 2015. The high school is located in Camarillo, California which is part of the Oxnard Union High School District. The 28-acre site (11 ha) provides public education for the Camarillo and Somis communities. The high school divides students in their freshmen year amongst three academies: Academy of Engineering, Academy of Arts and Engineering and Entertainment, and Academy of Medical Sciences. Each academy provides specific course requirements, field trips, educational and job shadow opportunities. Due to a limited amount of space on the new campus as well as a limited amount of resources and technology, each year the two-hundred incoming freshmen are determined through a lottery.The first graduating class was in June 2018 when 130 students in the Senior Class graduated.The school received funding in 2018 for updating facilities through a local Bond Measure. The school also received funds to expand the school's student capacity with 9 relocatable classrooms.

CSU Channel Islands University Park is adjacent to and owned by California State University, Channel Islands. It is usually closed to vehicle traffic, but the public is welcome to explore by foot. There is a dirt parking area just outside the gate. The area includes wetlands, hills, trails, the Scary dairy, a model boat pond, and an actively used model airplane field and runway. Calleguas Creek forms the northern border of the park, and the foothills of the Santa Monica mountains form the southern edge of the park. For many years plans and proposals were made to develop the land into something more financially beneficial to the local governments such as a golf course or outdoor amphitheater, but none of these were carried out, and in the past few years the public has become more welcome to the area for day use. Firearms of all kinds are illegal within the park as noted by the sign at the gate.
