Veslački klub Danubius 1885 (Serbian Cyrillic: Веслачки клуб Данубијус 1885) is a Serbian rowing club from Novi Sad, Vojvodina, Serbia. The club was founded in 1885 and is the oldest rowing club in former Yugoslavia.

Štrand (Serbian Cyrillic: Штранд) is a popular city beach on the Danube river in Novi Sad, Vojvodina, Serbia. It is located and the edge of Liman neighborhood, with the Liberty Bridge passing above the beach.

Liberty Bridge (Serbian: Мост слободе, romanized: Most slobode) is a cable-stayed bridge on the Danube river in Novi Sad, Vojvodina, Serbia. The bridge was opened for traffic on 23 October 1981. During that time, the bridge was the world record holder in the category of bridges with cable-stayed design. It was destroyed during NATO bombardment on 3 April 1999. It was rebuilt from 2003 to 2005 and reopened on 7 October 2005.

The Faculty of Technical Sciences (abbr. FTN; Serbian: Факултет техничких наука Универзитета у Новом Саду, romanized: Fakultet tehničkih nauka Univerziteta u Novom Sadu) is a higher education institution located in Novi Sad, an independent part of the University of Novi Sad. It was founded on 18 May 1960 and today it is the largest faculty in Serbia by number of students and one of the largest in the region. As of 2020–21 academic year, it has a total of 15,742 students.

The University of Novi Sad Faculty of Law (Serbian: Правни факултет Универзитета у Новом Саду, romanized: Pravni fakultet Univerziteta u Novom Sadu), also known as the Novi Sad Law School, is a constituent body of the University of Novi Sad, Serbia. The school is located on the university campus on the bank of the Danube river in the downtown district, on the opposite side of the Petrovaradin Fortress.

The University of Novi Sad (Serbian: Универзитет у Новом Саду, Univerzitet u Novom Sadu; Hungarian: Újvidéki Egyetem) is a public university in Novi Sad, Serbia. It is composed of 14 faculties and three scientific institutes located in four university cities - Novi Sad, Sombor, Subotica and Zrenjanin. SPC Vojvodina (Serbian Cyrillic: СПЦ Војводина), short for Sports and Business Center Vojvodina (Serbian: Спортски и пословни центар Војводина, romanized: Sportski i poslovni centar Vojvodina), commonly referred to as SPENS (Serbian Cyrillic: СПЕНС), is a multi-purpose venue located in Novi Sad, Vojvodina, Serbia.

Karađorđe Stadium (Serbian: Стадион Карађорђе, Stadion Karađorđe) is a multi-purpose stadium in Novi Sad, Vojvodina, Serbia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FK Vojvodina. The stadium is one of the most modern stadiums in Serbia and has one of the best pitches in the country. The stadium has a total of 14,853 seats after new renovations were made in 2013. The stadium is also the home ground for the Serbian U-21 football team.

During the 1999 NATO bombing of Yugoslavia, aerial bombings were carried out against the second largest Yugoslav city of Novi Sad. According to NATO press releases,[1] the bombing targeted oil refineries, roads, bridges, and telecommunications relay stations, facilities which had military uses. The bombing of the city caused great damage to local civilians, including severe pollution and widespread ecological damage as well as lasting consequences for the well-being of the population.

The City municipality of Novi Sad (Serbian Cyrillic: Градска општина Нови Сад, romanized: Gradska opština Novi Sad) is one of two city municipalities which constitute the City of Novi Sad. According to the 2011 census results, the municipality has a population of 307,760 inhabitants, while the urban area has 250,439 inhabitants.

The Assembly of Vojvodina (Serbian Cyrillic: Скупштина Војводине, romanized: Skupština Vojvodine), officialy known as the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina (Serbian: Скупштина Аутономне Покрајине Војводине, romanized: Skupština Autonomne Pokrajine Vojvodine; Hungarian: Vajdaság Autonóm Tartomány Képviselőháza; Romanian: Adunarea Provinciei Autonome Voivodina; Croatian: Skupština Autonomne Pokrajine Vojvodine; Pannonian Rusyn: Скупштина Автономней Покраїни Войводини; Slovak: Zhromaždenie Autonómnej pokrajiny Vojvodiny), is the unicameral parliament of the autonomous province of Vojvodina in Serbia. The President of the Assembly is Momo Čolaković of the Party of United Pensioners of Serbia (PUPS). The current parliament was elected in 2020. It is elected by proportional representation.
