The Robert Schumann Hochschule (Robert Schumann University of Music and Media) is a school for music studies at the university level located in Düsseldorf. The University has a student body of some 850 coming from over 40 countries. Forty-seven full-time and part-time faculty and 200 associate professors (People) provide individualized instruction.

Victoriaplatz/Klever Straße is an underground station on the Düsseldorf Stadtbahn lines U78 and U79 in Düsseldorf. The station lies on Klever Straße near Victoriaplatz in the district of Pempelfort, close to the district of Golzheim. The station was opened on October 3, 1981, and consists of one island platform with two rail tracks.

Golzheim, a borough of Düsseldorf in District 1 on the Rhine, just north of the city center, is primarily a business and hotel district, but retains some of the old stately villas.

The Kunstpalast, formerly Kunstmuseum Düsseldorf is an art museum in Düsseldorf.

The NRW Forum Wirtschaft und Kultur (Forum NRW), formerly the Museum für Industrie und Wirtschaft, is a museum in Düsseldorf, the state capital of North Rhine-Westphalia, dealing with the development and the economy of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia or regions within it, such as the Rhine-Ruhr-region. Today it is part of the Museum Kunstpalast.

The New Synagogue (German: Leo Baeck Saal) is the synagogue of the Jewish community in Düsseldorf, Germany. The synagogue was built in the Golzheim district, far from the site of the former synagogue, which was located in the city center at Kasernenstraße. There the synagogue, built in 1905, was pillaged and burned by SA men during the Kristallnacht in 1938.The synagogue is named after rabbi Leo Baeck, who served as a pulpit rabbi in Düsseldorf. It was inaugurated in September 1958. On 3 October 2000, the synagogue was firebombed. Since then, there is a constant police watch over the synagogue.

Nordstraße is an underground station on the Düsseldorf Stadtbahn lines U78 and U79 in Düsseldorf. The station lies on Nordstraße in the district of Pempelfort. The station was opened on October 3, 1981, and consists of one island platform with two rail tracks. On the surface interchange to Tram lines 701 and 705 is possible. In 2003, a 50-year-old man drove his car into the entrance of the station on street level (without going all the way in) when he thought it was entrance to a car park. Likewise, in 2007, a 52-year-old woman drove her car into the entrance staircase, also thinking it would lead to a car park.

Tonhalle Düsseldorf is a concert hall in Düsseldorf. It was built by the architect Wilhelm Kreis. The resident orchestra, the Düsseldorfer Symphoniker, play symphonic repertoire at the Tonhalle as well as opera at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein.

The Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra (German: Düsseldorfer Symphoniker) is Germany's second oldest municipal orchestra, based in Düsseldorf. Tonhalle, the hall of the orchestra, lies opposite the Rhine river. Alongside the Duisburg Philharmonic, it is one of two orchestras of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein.

The Kunstakademie Düsseldorf is the academy of fine arts of the state of North Rhine Westphalia at the city of Düsseldorf, Germany. Notable artists who studied or taught at the academy include Joseph Beuys, Gerhard Richter, Magdalena Jetelová, Gotthard Graubner, Nam June Paik, Nan Hoover, Katharina Fritsch, Tony Cragg, Ruth Rogers-Altmann, Sigmar Polke, Anselm Kiefer, Rosemarie Trockel, Thomas Schütte, Katharina Grosse and photographers Thomas Ruff, Thomas Demand, Thomas Struth, Andreas Gursky and Candida Höfer. In the stairway of its main entrance are engraved the Words: "Für unsere Studenten nur das Beste" ("For our Students only the Best").

The Rheinufer Tunnel (German: Rheinufertunnel or "Rhine Bank Tunnel") is a road tunnel in Düsseldorf, Germany. The tunnel is part of the B1 German federal road. At 2 km (1.2 mi) long, it is the sixth longest inner city tunnel in Europe. The tunnel runs under the Rhine Promenade near the right hand bank of Rhine. The impressive southern entrance of the tunnel is marked by a tall building, the Düsseldorf Stadttor (city gate). The northern entrance is just south of the Oberkassel Bridge.

The Altstadt (literally "old town") is one of the 49 boroughs of Düsseldorf, Germany; it belongs to central City District 1. The Düsseldorfer Altstadt is known as "the longest bar in the world" (längste Theke der Welt), because the small Old Town has more than 300 bars and discothèques; supposedly, each establishment's bar-counter connecting to one next door. Düsseldorf is famed for its special beer, Altbier ("old beer"), brewed from an old traditional recipe, which is only produced in a few places in the world since the end of the 19th century. The Old Town has an area of half a square kilometer (which is less than a quarter of a percent of the whole city) and has 2297 inhabitants (2000), less than half a percent of the population of Düsseldorf. The density of population is thus 4594 inhabitants/km2.
