The New Synagogue (German: Leo Baeck Saal) is the synagogue of the Jewish community in Düsseldorf, Germany. The synagogue was built in the Golzheim district, far from the site of the former synagogue, which was located in the city center at Kasernenstraße. There the synagogue, built in 1905, was pillaged and burned by SA men during the Kristallnacht in 1938.The synagogue is named after rabbi Leo Baeck, who served as a pulpit rabbi in Düsseldorf. It was inaugurated in September 1958. On 3 October 2000, the synagogue was firebombed. Since then, there is a constant police watch over the synagogue.

Nordstraße is an underground station on the Düsseldorf Stadtbahn lines U78 and U79 in Düsseldorf. The station lies on Nordstraße in the district of Pempelfort. The station was opened on October 3, 1981, and consists of one island platform with two rail tracks. On the surface interchange to Tram lines 701 and 705 is possible. In 2003, a 50-year-old man drove his car into the entrance of the station on street level (without going all the way in) when he thought it was entrance to a car park. Likewise, in 2007, a 52-year-old woman drove her car into the entrance staircase, also thinking it would lead to a car park.

The Victoria Haus also known as the Victoria Versicherung AG is a high-rise office building in the Pempelfort district of Düsseldorf, Germany. Built between 1994 and 1998, the tower stands at 108 m (354 ft) tall with 29 floors and is the current third tallest building in Düsseldorf.

Institute der Wirtschaftsprüfer in Deutschland e.V. (Institute of Public Auditors in Germany, Incorporated Association - IDW) is a privately run organization based in Düsseldorf established to serve its members who comprise both individual Wirtschaftsprüfers (German Public Auditors) and Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaften (German Public Audit firms) (Bylaws §1, §3). The IDW was established on a voluntary basis rather than having been established under German law. In accordance with its Articles of Incorporation, the IDW does not operate as a commercial business and is a not-for-profit organization (Bylaws §2 Sec. 5). Membership as of 31 December 2024 was 12,909 full members, of whom 11,782 were German public auditors (91% of all German public auditors) and 1,127 were German public audit firms (Bylaws §4 Sec. 4).

Pempelfort is a city part in the North-east of the central District 1 of Düsseldorf. It borders on Stadtmitte, Derendorf, the Cologne–Duisburg railway, connecting Flingern and Düsseltal, Oberbilk, Golzheim and the river Rhine. Pempelfort has about 26,800 inhabitants in an area of 2.69 km², or nearly 10,000 inhabitants per km². Some important institutions such as the District Administration / Prefecture of Düsseldorf (Bezirksregierung Düsseldorf) and the Higher Court of Düsseldorf (Oberlandesgericht) are located in Pempelfort. The head offices of the energy company E.ON and the Victoria Insurance company are also in Pempelfort. There are museums and a music hall in Pempelfort: Theatermuseum (Museum of Theatre) Museum Kunstpalast (Ehrenhof) NRW Forum (Ehrenhof) Tonhalle Düsseldorf (Music Hall, Ehrenhof)The central park of Düsseldorf, the Hofgarten, and the Rheinpark are the two green areas in the borough. The Rochuskirche, a church dedicated to St. Rochus, was partially destroyed in World War II and has only one surviving tower; the rest of the church is in experimental style.

The Düsseldorf tramway network (German: Straßenbahnnetz Düsseldorf) is a network of tramways serving Düsseldorf, the capital city of the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. In combination with the Düsseldorf Stadtbahn and Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn, it forms the backbone of the public transport system in Düsseldorf. The tramway network is currently operated by Rheinbahn AG, and is integrated in the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr (VRR). As of 2016, its seven tram lines ran over 78.0 kilometres (48.5 mi) of route, serving 178 stops.

Golzheim, a borough of Düsseldorf in District 1 on the Rhine, just north of the city center, is primarily a business and hotel district, but retains some of the old stately villas.

The Robert Schumann Hochschule (Robert Schumann University of Music and Media) is a school for music studies at the university level located in Düsseldorf. The University has a student body of some 850 coming from over 40 countries. Forty-seven full-time and part-time faculty and 200 associate professors (People) provide individualized instruction.

The Consulate General of the United States, Düsseldorf is a consular post located in Golzheim, Düsseldorf, Germany. It was built in 1953, designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in the 1950s International Style. The architect Otto Apel implemented the design on-site.
