KANAL - Centre Pompidou is museum for modern and contemporary art located in Brussels, Belgium, near the Brussels–Charleroi Canal, in the former buildings of a Citroën garage. The definitive opening is scheduled for 2025.

The Square Sainctelette (Dutch: Sainctelettesquare) is a square located in the City of Brussels municipality of Brussels, Belgium. It lies along the Brussels–Charleroi Canal, on the border with the Molenbeek-Saint-Jean municipality, from which it is separated by the canal. It is named in honour of Charles-Xavier Sainctelette, a former Belgian minister for public works.

The MigratieMuseumMigration (MMM) is a Belgian migration museum at Rue des Ateliers/Werkhuizenstraat 17 in Molenbeek, in the Brussels-Capital Region, which opened in October 2019. It is one of the 235 (as of 2024) museums to which access is provided by the Belgian national "Museum Pass" and one of the 49 (as of 2024) museums included in the "Brussels Card".The museum was founded in 2019 by the Foyer de Molenbeek-Saint Jean, which had been established in 1969.People from about 180 countries live in the capital region of Brussels, and the museum presents the history of the first guest workers, the homeless, the war refugees and also the European internal migrants. The museum "pays tribute to the many migrants who have helped shape the city".

The Citroën Garage (French: Garage Citroën, Dutch: Citroëngarage), originally a garage and showroom, is located at Place Yser/IJzerplein in the City of Brussels. It served as Citroën Belux's headquarters until 2012 and continued as a showroom until 2017. The building was designed by Alexis Dumont, Marcel Van Goethem, and Maurice-Jacques Ravazé, and constructed from 1933 to 1934.

The Opéra du Quai au Foin was the first public theatre in Brussels. Opened on 24 January 1682, it was abandoned in 1697 and turned into a warehouse.

The Anspach Fountain (French: Fontaine Anspach, Dutch: Anspachfontein) is an eclectic-style fountain-obelisk erected in 1897 in the centre of the Place de Brouckère/De Brouckèreplein in Brussels, Belgium. Designed by the architect Charles-Émile Janlet, it is dedicated to the memory of Jules Anspach, a former mayor of the City of Brussels.The monument was dismantled in 1973 following construction work on the Brussels Metro. It was reinstalled in 1981 in its current location on the Square des Blindés/Pantsertroepensquare, between the Quai aux Briques/Baksteenkaai and the Quai au Bois à Brûler/Brandhoutkaai, in the Sainte-Catherine/Sint Katelijne neighbourhood.

Yser (French) or IJzer (Dutch) is a Brussels metro station on the northern segment of lines 2 and 6. It opened on 2 October 1988 and is located under the small ring between Place Yser/IJzerplein and Porte d'Anvers/Antwerpsepoort in the municipality of the City of Brussels (Belgium). Its name derives from the river Yser.

The Royal Flemish Theatre (Dutch: Koninklijke Vlaamse Schouwburg, abbreviated KVS, French: Théâtre royal flamand) is a theatre in Brussels, Belgium. It is the anchor of the Flemish theatre company in Brussels, which aims to promote professional theatre in the Dutch language in Belgium and abroad. A place is also made for dance, poetry, music and temporary exhibitions. The theatre is located in the Quays Quarter, where the inner port of the City of Brussels was located until the end of the 19th century. Its main facade is located on the Rue de Laeken/Lakensestraat. It is served by the metro stations Yser/IJzer (on lines 2 and 6), De Brouckère (on lines 1, 3, 4 and 5) and Sainte-Catherine/Sint-Katelijne (on lines 1 and 5).

The Church of St. John the Baptist (French: Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Dutch: Sint-Jan-de-Doperkerk) is a Roman Catholic parish church located in the centre of Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, a municipality of Brussels, Belgium. It is dedicated to Saint John the Baptist, the patron saint of Molenbeek. Designed by the architect Joseph Diongre and built between 1930 and 1932 in Art Deco style, it is one of three major churches in Brussels made of reinforced concrete (the other two are the Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Koekelberg and the Church of St. Augustine in Forest). Belonging to the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Mechelen–Brussels, the church and the Catholic parish it belongs to gave their name to the municipality. The building received protected status on 29 February 1984.The church is located on the northern side of the Parvis Saint Jean-Baptiste/Sint-Jan-Baptistvoorplein, not far from the Place Communale/Gemeenteplaats (the municipal square of Molenbeek). This site is served by Comte de Flandre/Graaf van Vlaanderen metro station on line 5 of the Brussels Metro.

The Brussels Canal (French: Canal de Bruxelles, Dutch: Kanaal van Brussel) is a section of waterway in Brussels, Belgium. It generally refers to the northernmost portion of the Brussels–Charleroi Canal (from the Ninove Gate to the Sainctelette area) and the southernmost section of the Brussels–Scheldt Maritime Canal or Willebroek Canal (between Sainctelette and the Vergote Dock).The Brussels Canal divides the City of Brussels from the municipality of Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, forming the border between them. Previously (before the 19th century, when the canal was dug), there used to be a Willebroek Canal through which a series of locks eventually reached the Brussels harbour inside the city. There used to also be a small canal connecting the Willebroek Canal along the western portion of the city's old defensive walls to the two arms of the river Senne, which were later was covered over and the entire river redirected underground for its entire course within inner Brussels. In the 20th century, even the underground course of the river was altered and the city centre river bedding was dried, the water redirected away from the centre and moved along the western side of the Small Ring (inner ring road), thus also along the Brussels Canal. The Brussels Canal features several turning basins in its urban course. As part of multiple public works projects, including the covering of the Senne, excess water from the underground flowing river is drained into the canal.

Sainte-Catherine (French) or Sint-Katelijne (Dutch) is a Brussels metro station. It is located at the Place Sainte-Catherine/Sint-Katelijneplein, between the Quai aux Briques/Baksteenkaai and the Quai au Bois à Brûler/Brandhoutkaai, in the municipality of the City of Brussels (Belgium). It is also situated near St. Catherine's Church, which gives the station its name. The station was inaugurated on 13 April 1977, when Brussels' first metro line (line 1) was converted from premetro (underground tram) to heavy metro. Following the reorganisation of the Brussels metro on 4 April 2009, it is served by lines 1 and 5, which use the same tracks at this point.
