Kearsarge, New Hampshire

Cranmore Mountain Resort, operating in the summer with a Mountain Adventure Park, is a ski area located in North Conway, New Hampshire, United States. It began operations in the winter of 1937–38, and was owned until 1984 by the Schneider family. During the late 1980s and 1990s, ownership of the resort changed hands several times; it is now owned by a group of New England businessmen and is undergoing several years of expansion and modernization.

The Abenaki Indian Shop and Camp is a historic Native American site in the Intervale section of Conway, New Hampshire. The site is a camp established by Abenakis who were lured to the area by the prospect of making baskets and selling them to visitors to the resort areas of the White Mountains in the late 19th century, and operated into the late 20th century. The site was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991, and has also been listed on the New Hampshire State Register of Historic Places. It is located on Intervale Cross Road, about one mile east of New Hampshire Route 16, and is now a local public park.

Intervale is an unincorporated community in Carroll County, New Hampshire, located on the boundary between the towns of Bartlett and Conway in the White Mountains Region. The village is part of the Mount Washington Valley, a resort area that also includes the communities of North Conway and Jackson. The village has a separate ZIP code (03845) from surrounding communities in the Bartlett/Conway area. Intervale is found along U.S. Route 302 and New Hampshire Route 16 at their intersection with Hurricane Mountain Road, 1.5 miles (2.4 km) north of the center of North Conway. New Hampshire Route 16A leads north from Intervale through the village of Lower Bartlett. A state highway rest area with a fine view of Mount Washington and the Presidential Range is located along Routes 302 and 16 in Intervale. A former trading post run by Abenaki chief Joseph Laurent, the Abenaki Indian Shop and Camp, is located in Intervale near the state highway rest area and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Eastern Slope Inn is a historic hotel at 2760 White Mountain Highway (U.S. Route 302) in North Conway, Carroll County, New Hampshire. Built in 1926, it is one of the community's most prominent examples of large-scale Colonial Revival architecture, and is historically important as a major element in the popularization of downhill skiing in the area. The inn was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

North Conway is a census-designated place (CDP) and village in eastern Carroll County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 2,116 at the 2020 census. A year-round resort area, North Conway is the second-largest village within the town of Conway, after the village of Conway proper. North Conway maintains its own fire station, post office and public library, sharing its other services with Conway. The White Mountain National Forest is to the west and north. The area is home to Cathedral Ledge (popular with climbers), Echo Lake State Park, and Cranmore Mountain Resort. North Conway is known for its large number of outlet shops.

The North Conway 5 and 10 Cent Store is a historic general store at 2683 Main Street in North Conway, New Hampshire. Built about 1840 and significantly modified in 1900, it is one of a small number of surviving dime stores in New Hampshire, and is architecturally unusual in the state for its "boom town" false front facade. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

North Conway station is a railway station located in North Conway, New Hampshire. Built in 1874, the depot was designed by Nathaniel J. Bradlee in an eclectic Russian Victorian style. The station is also the terminus for the Conway Scenic Railroad. Northwest of the station stands a roundhouse, which now houses the Scenic Railroad's rolling stock; it was built around the same time as the station. The yard and depot were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 as North Conway Depot and Railroad Yard.

WJNH is a Christian radio station licensed to Conway, New Hampshire, and serving the North Conway, New Hampshire, and Fryeburg, Maine, areas, broadcasting on 91.1 MHz FM. WJNH is owned by New Hampshire Gospel Radio, Inc.Originally licensed in 2012, holding the call sign holding the call sign WMTP, its call sign was changed to WJNH on April 11, 2022.

Kearsarge North is a mountain located about 4 miles (6 km) northeast of North Conway, Carroll County, New Hampshire, United States. The U.S. Board on Geographic Names accepted the name "Pequawket Mountain" in 1915 but it was renamed Kearsarge North in 1957. The Pequawket are a subdivision of the Abenaki people who formerly lived in the area. It is sometimes referred to as Mount Kearsarge, a name officially assigned to a mountain in Merrimack County. Kearsarge North is located on the eastern fringe of the White Mountains. It is drained by various brooks into the Saco River. There are two hiking routes up Kearsarge. The first, and most popular, is the 3.1-mile (5.0 km) Mount Kearsarge North Trail, which ascends 2,600 feet (790 m) from the North Conway side of Hurricane Mountain Road, near Intervale. The Weeks Brook Trail, a much less-used 4.7-mile (7.6 km) route, approaches Kearsarge from the east, from a trailhead on Forest Road 317 in Chatham. It has a slightly higher vertical gain at approximately 2,740 feet.An inn was built on the summit, only to be twice destroyed by storms. In 1909, the Appalachian Mountain Club granted the New Hampshire Forestry Commission use of the destroyed hotel for a fire lookout.

Echo Lake State Park is a public recreation area in North Conway, New Hampshire, that features 15.7-acre (6.4 ha) Echo Lake and two rock ledges with scenic views, Cathedral Ledge and White Horse Ledge. Activities include swimming, hiking, non-motorized boating, picnicking and fishing. There is a one-mile trail around the lake. A mile-long auto road and hiking trails lead to the top of Cathedral Ledge (summit elevation 1,159 ft or 353 m) with views across the Saco River Valley to the White Mountains and Kearsarge North.Both Cathedral Ledge and White Horse Ledge are popular for rock and ice climbing.

Echo Lake is a 15.7-acre (6.4 ha) water body located near North Conway in Carroll County, New Hampshire, United States. It is part of Echo Lake State Park, which features a small swimming beach. The lake lies at the foot of White Horse Ledge and just south of Cathedral Ledge, both of which are noted rock climbing destinations in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The lake is part of the Saco River watershed. The lake is classified as a warmwater fishery, with observed species including smallmouth bass and yellow perch.

Settlers Green (formerly Settlers' Green) is an outlet shopping center in North Conway, New Hampshire, United States. The center was built on the location of the former White Mountain Airport and opened in February 1988. It has since expanded to a former industrial site and a former competing shopping center. Settlers Green is divided into four parts: the Outlet Village, which contains mostly outlet stores; Settlers Crossing, which has a combination of lifestyle and specialty retailers; Settlers Corner, which houses a Staples, Home Depot, and HomeGoods; and Streetside, which features upscale retailers. With over 500,000 square feet (46,000 m2) of retail space, it is the largest shopping center in the White Mountains Region.
