Power Racing Series is a non-profit power wheels racing competition. It's modeled after the racing series 24 Hours of LeMons however with child sized electric cars. The power racing series competitions are held at Maker Faire events across the USA.

Pumping Station: One is a non-profit hackerspace/makerspace in Chicago, Illinois. The facilities consist of approximately 11,000 square feet (1,000 m2) of shop, workspace, and lounge areas.

Avondale () is one of Chicago's 77 officially designated community areas. It is on the Northwest Side of the city. The northern border is Addison Street from the north branch of the Chicago River in the east to Pulaski Road in the west. The neighborhood extends further west along Belmont Avenue to the Union Pacific/Northwest Line. Its southern border is Diversey Avenue from the Union Pacific/Northwest Line to the Chicago River.

Belmont (or Belmont/Kimball) is an 'L' station on the CTA's Blue Line. The station is located at Belmont and Kimball Avenues in the Avondale neighborhood. From Belmont, trains run at intervals of 2–7 minutes during rush hours, and take 16 minutes to reach the Loop.

Avondale Park is a 1.7 acre park in the Avondale community area of North Side, Chicago, Illinois. The park stretches between School Street to the south to the Kennedy Expressway to the north and east, with the alley behind Drake Street to the West. The park has recreational facilities including a playground, a fieldhouse, as well as an outdoor pool.

312 RiverRun is a Chicago public hiking area under construction along the Chicago River. The development is a further move toward Chicago's goal of having a continuous pedestrian path along the entire riverfront. It will connect three parks with one bike and pedestrian path, and will extend nearly two miles. The park project receives funding from organizations including the Federal Highway Administration, the Illinois Department of Transportation, and the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning. The first phase of the project connects Richard Clark Park to California Park via the Riverview Bridge, crossing from the east bank to the west bank of the Chicago River creating an continuous path between Belmont Avenue and Irving Park Road. The Riverview Bridge opened in late November 2019. The project is expected to be completed by Fall 2020 after the Irving Park Road bridge replacement is completed. Upon completion of 312 RiverRun, there will exist a continuous trail to Montrose Avenue via Horner park.

Addison is a station on the Chicago Transit Authority's 'L' system, serving the Blue Line. It is also the only station whose coordinates are equal (3600 N/3600 W). It is the first station in the median of the Kennedy Expressway located between the Avondale neighborhood and Irving Park neighborhood. The Villa District is accessible by this station.

St. Wenceslaus (Polish: Kościół Świętego Wacława) is a church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago located at 3400 North Monticello Avenue in the Avondale neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. One of the many Polish churches visible from the Kennedy Expressway, is along with St. Hyacinth Basilica, one of two monumental religious edifices that dominates the Avondale skyline. It is well known for its unique architecture, as well as being the site where photographer and historic preservationist Richard Nickel was married.Although the historic church is a stop for many of the tourists visiting the landmark Villa District, this majestic Romanesque-Art Deco hybrid is actually a few blocks south of the district's formal boundaries. St Wenceslaus is accessible via the Blue Line's Addison street station.

Electrical Audio is a recording facility founded in Chicago, Illinois by musician and recording engineer Steve Albini in 1997. Hundreds of independent music projects have been recorded there. Unlike most producers, Albini refuses to take any royalties from musicians who record at the studio.Founded during an era of increasing popularity for digital recording, Electrical Audio was unusual for using only analog recording technology, including mixing consoles, tape recorders and many outboard sound effects. The rooms are also designed to offer natural reverberation rather than adding the quality in post-production. In a 2007 post on the studio's message board, the studio's technician Greg Norman revealed that the studio had acquired a Pro Tools rig for computer-aided recording and editing, saying it had become "as important to have as a piano". Norman also went on to write that Albini, who dislikes digital recording, "won't be recording with [Pro Tools]. So don't ask him about it."

The Milwaukee-Diversey-Kimball District is an official City of Chicago Landmark District straddling the Chicago community areas of Avondale and Logan Square at the gateway to the Polish Village. This district includes 7 buildings in the vicinity of the intersection of Milwaukee Avenue, Kimball Avenue, and Diversey Parkway.The Milwaukee-Diversey-Kimball District was designated a Chicago Landmark on February 9, 2005.
