The Antelope, now housing a restaurant called Hajee's Spices, is a grade II listed building on the Stratford Road in Sparkhill, Birmingham, England. It opened as a public house called The Antelope in 1924.The building features bas-relief carvings designed by local artist William Bloye and sculpted by his assistant, Tom Wright.Hajees Spices was replaced in 2020 by Des Pardes, but by 2021 the building was to let again. In 2023 it is being converted into another restaurant called Blac.

Sparkhill Library is a library located in Sparkhill. The Library falls under the jurisdiction of Birmingham City Council. The building was originally erected as Yardley Council House in 1900 to house Yardley Rural District Council. Architect Arthur Harrison was engaged on the project from 1898 to 1902. In 2014 the building was saved from being sold on the open market after local councillors made a plea for it to be offered for community use first. Sparkhill Police Station, which includes the West Midlands Police Museum is next door. Also next door to the library is the Sparkhill Pool which houses a swimming pool alongside several other facilities. The large building currently houses a social/cultural centre in which events or daily lessons are held; however in more recent years a neighbourhood office that was once situated within the building has closed. The library opened to the public in 1987.

It was constructed in 1888 which makes it one year older than Birmingham city. It sits exactly at the top of the Hill known as Sparkhill. The church was built in 1888 by Birmingham architects Martin & Chamberlain. This firm was more famous for school buildings than churches, and most notably the Birmingham School of Art, one of the finest buildings in the city centre. St John's church is perhaps as bold an architectural statement, in its own way...The architectural style of the exterior is the Victorian version of Early English Gothic, but with c19 engineering advances displaying no further similarities to the medieval in its interior arrangement." (English Heritage report 2009) In 1990 with the closure of Emmanuel Church, Sparkbrook part of that parish was incorporated within this parish.

Anderton Park Primary School is a coeducational primary school located in the Sparkhill area of Birmingham, West Midlands, England.It is a community school administered by Birmingham City Council. In 2019, it became the focus of campaigners opposed to LGBT representation in Sex and Relationship Education lessons. These campaigners mounted a sustained demonstration outside the gates of the school before being stopped by the High Court, as of 2021, the school still teaches materials containing references to LGBT groups. The school is mentioned in official accounts relating to the so-called Trojan Horse scandal.

Moseley School – full name Moseley School and Sixth Form – is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form located in the Moseley area of Birmingham, England. The school's main entrance is situated on Wake Green Road, with other entrances on College Road and Springfield Road, and it lies in the parish of St Christopher, Springfield.The school is non-denominational with around 1,360 students, two-thirds of whom are boys. 80% do not have English as a first language, and over 40% are eligible for free school meals. The March 2016 Ofsted report graded the school as good with good features, at which students make good progress. The school comprises three main buildings on a single campus – a Victorian college built in the 1850s, a building completed in 2012 and a newly built sports complex.

Ark Boulton Academy (formerly Golden Hillock School) is a coeducational secondary school located in Sparkhill in the south of Birmingham, England. It was established in 1910 and educates just under 900 pupils. In September 2015 the school joined the Ark after the Trojan Horse scandal. The current interim principal is Mr Daniel Richards. In 2014, the school was under investigation for promoting radical Islamic view to pupils: see Operation Trojan Horse.The school has a higher than average number of pupils eligible for free school meals. In 2015, Ofsted reported that all its pupils were from ethnic minorities, and the majority spoke English as an additional language. The school has an average number of students with special educational needs. The school was judged 'Good' by Ofsted in 2017.
