DuPont Manual High School

The Youth Performing Arts School (YPAS) is a performing arts school in Louisville, Kentucky, United States, that concentrates on various vocal, instrumental, theatre, musical theatre and dance disciplines for high school students. Students who attend have no less than a ninety-minute block of arts studies each day (sometimes more), with the balance of their academic classes at duPont Manual High School. YPAS is one of only 100 U.S. schools of its type. Students are selected from within Jefferson County through a vigorous audition process. Annually, about 85% of student graduates attend major performing arts colleges.YPAS offers the following majors: Design and Production, Vocal, Orchestra, Band, Piano, Guitar, Theater, Musical Theatre, and Dance.

The Speed Art Museum, originally known as the J.B. Speed Memorial Museum, now colloquially referred to as the Speed by locals, is the oldest and largest art museum in Kentucky. It was established in 1927 in Louisville, Kentucky on Third Street next to the University of Louisville Belknap campus. It receives around 180,000 visits annually.The museum offers visitors a variety of "art experiences" outside its collection and international exhibitions, including the Speed Concert Series, the Art Sparks Interactive Family Gallery, and the late-night event, After Hours at the Speed.The Speed houses ancient, classical, and modern art from around the world. The focus of the collection is Western art, from antiquity to the present day. Holdings of paintings from the Netherlands, France, and Italy are prominent, and contemporary art and sculptures are also featured.

The William F. Ekstrom Library is the main branch of the University of Louisville Libraries system. Located on the university's Belknap Campus in Louisville, Kentucky, Ekstrom Library contains collections in the humanities, sciences, and social sciences. The University of Louisville Libraries is a member of the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) and, along with Ekstrom, includes libraries for Art, Health Sciences, Law, and Music, as well as the Archives and Special Collections. The University of Louisville Libraries hold approximately 2.2 million print volumes, subscribe to several thousand serials, and provide full-text electronic access to approximately 74,000 journals. Ekstrom is a Federal Depository Library and houses the largest selective government document collection in Kentucky.

Amphitheatre Auditorium or just the Auditorium was a theatre building in Louisville, Kentucky, United States at the southwest corner of 4th and Hill Streets. Upon its completion in 1889, the large wooden structure boasted the second largest stage in the United States. The New York Opera House was the largest stage at the time.

Werne's Row is a row of five nearly identical Châteauesque mansions in the Old Louisville neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, United States. The houses were built for Joseph Werne in 1897, a prominent jeweler and antiques dealer. Werne and his wife lived in the house overlooking the corner of 4th & Hill, while Dr. William Wathen resided in the blue house bordering Belgravia Court, The interiors of the houses were designed by Claude Balfour while the exteriors were "intrusted to Mr. F. W. Mowbray, architect", who also designed Union Station (Louisville) at 10th & Broadway in Louisville.All five homes are very similar in style except for small ornamental features. Although only one foot apart, none of the houses touch, despite the first impression that they may be town homes. A private park for the Wernes existed behind the five houses, it has since become a parking lot for the Belgravia Court Association. Three of the homes are subdivided into apartments, the other two remain single-family dwellings.

The University of Louisville College of Business is a college at the University of Louisville, established in 1953. The college enrolls about 2,500 students in a variety of programs such as Master of Business Administration (MBA), Doctor of Business Administration (PhD), and various certificates in business fields. The average starting salary for these individuals was $54,903.Neeli Bendapudi, a business scholar and UofL president from 2018 to 2021, served in a dual role as a faculty member of the College of Business.

The University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, commonly referred to as The University of Louisville School of Law, U of L Brandeis School of Law, or the Brandeis School of Law, is the law school of the University of Louisville. Established in 1846, it is the oldest law school in Kentucky and the fifth oldest in the country in continuous operation. The law school is named after Justice Louis Dembitz Brandeis, who served on the Supreme Court of the United States and was the school's patron. Following the example of Brandeis, who eventually stopped accepting payment for "public interest" cases, Louis D. Brandeis School of Law was one of the first law schools in the nation to require students to complete public service before graduation.The school offers six dual-degree programs that allow students to earn an MBA, MSW, MA in humanities, M.Div. (with the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary), MA in political science, and MUP in urban planning while attaining their J.D. These classes are offered in conjunction with other University of Louisville departments. The school's law library contains 400,000 volumes as well as the papers of Louis D. Brandeis and John Marshall Harlan, both Supreme Court Justices and native Kentuckians. It is one of only thirteen Supreme Court repositories in the nation. The law school's flagship law review is the University of Louisville Law Review.According to University of Louisville's 2018 ABA-required disclosures, 92% of the Class of 2018 was employed within ten months of graduation. This includes 76% who obtained full-time, long-term, JD-required employment ten months after graduation, excluding solo practitioners.

Grawemeyer Hall is a building located on the Belknap Campus (main campus) of the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. The building was modeled after Thomas Jefferson's Rotunda on the grounds of the University of Virginia. Named for Charles Grawemeyer, a major benefactor to the university, the building now houses mostly administrative offices including the office of the university's president.On the steps of the building rests one of the original castings of Auguste Rodin's The Thinker. This casting is one of the few originals in the United States and the only one in the American South.

The University of Louisville (UofL) is a public research university in Louisville, Kentucky. It is part of the Kentucky state university system. When founded in 1798, it was one of the first city-owned public colleges in the United States and one of the first universities chartered west of the Allegheny Mountains. The university is mandated by the Kentucky General Assembly to be a "Preeminent Metropolitan Research University". The University of Louisville School of Medicine is touted for the first fully self-contained artificial heart transplant surgery, as well as the first successful hand transplantation in the United States. Women's track and field program has won Outdoor Big East titles in 2008, 2009 and 2010 and an Indoor Big East title in 2011.

Louisville Baseball Park (or Grounds) was a baseball park located in Louisville, Kentucky. The park was home to the Louisville Grays of the National League from 1876 to 1877.The field was located within a large block bounded by 4th Street (east); Hill Street (south); 6th Street (west); and Magnolia Avenue (north). The block was across the street to the south of Central Park, which still exists, and was also adjacent to a field used by the amateur Louisville Eagles. A few years after the breakup of the club following the 1877 Louisville Grays scandal, the large block was redeveloped for other purposes. It was the home of the Southern Exposition from 1883 through 1887. By the 1890s, the large block had been cut into lots and developed into an upper-class neighborhood known as St. James Court.

The Landward House, also known as the Robinson-Marvin-Wheeler House, is a brick Italianate mansion in Louisville, Kentucky. It has a limestone facade and projected entrance. There are 22 rooms and six bathrooms in this three-story building. Dr. Stuart Robinson used the mansion as his office. The garden was created by Frederick Law Olmsted Jr. in 1929. The tertiary garden features a vegetable garden, a labyrinth garden, and an informal side garden. The St. James Court Art Show uses its carriage house for its office. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on September 20, 1973.It is adjacent to the National Register-listed St. James-Belgravia Historic District, which was the site of the 1883 Southern Exposition.

Trager Stadium is a field hockey stadium located in Louisville, Kentucky, located on the campus of the University of Louisville in Owsley B. Frazier Cardinal Park between the track and field/soccer stadium and the softball stadium. Trager Stadium serves home to the Louisville cardinals field hockey team and can seat 1,500 spectators in the aluminum bleacher system. The stadium is named after the Trager family, who donated money to the university.
