Degersee

Kressbronn am Bodensee is a municipality and a village in the district of Bodensee in Baden-Württemberg in Germany. It lies on Lake Constance. Between 1919 and 2011, Kressbronn was the site of the Bodan-Werft shipyard, which built many of the ferries and other vessels used on Lake Constance and other Alpine lakes. The lawyer Nicolas Becker was born in Kressbronn am Bodensee in 1946.

Nonnenhorn is one of the three Bavarian towns on Lake Constance in the Swabian district of Lindau. The air health resort and famous wine town is located between Wasserburg (Bodensee) and Kressbronn am Bodensee (Baden-Württemberg).

Lindau-Insel station (German: Bahnhof Lindau-Insel, "Lindau island") (Lindau Stadt until 15 May 1936 and then Lindau Hauptbahnhof until 12 December 2020) is the largest station in the city of Lindau (Bodensee) and was its most important station until passenger service resumed at Lindau-Reutin station on December 13, 2020. In the urban area there is also Lindau-Aeschach station and Lindau-Reutin freight yard. Formerly there were also Lindau-Siebertsdorf (called Lindau-Zech until 15 May 1936), Lindau Langenweg, Lindau Strandbad, Schoenau, Oberreitnau and Rehlings.

On the island of Lindau in the eastern Lake Constance is the Altstadt of the Bavarian county town of Lindau, which occupies the eastern part of the island. The island of Lindau, which forms 2% of the area and 12% of the population of the entire town, is one of the town's ten administrative districts. The district is just called Insel ("Island").

Lindau is located near the meeting point of the Austrian, German, and Swiss borders and is nestled on the lake in front of Austria's Pfänder mountain. Lindau is popular with sightseers and vacationers for its medieval town centre and picturesque location on Lake Constance.

The Lindau Lighthouse (German: Lindauer Leuchtturm) is the southernmost lighthouse in Germany, in Lindau on Lake Constance. It is 33 metres (108 ft) tall and has a circumference of 24 metres (79 ft) at its base. Notably, it has a clock in its facade.
