Lai King station

Lai King Estate (Chinese: 荔景邨) is a public housing estate in Lai King, Kwai Chung, New Territories, Hong Kong and is one of the oldest public housing estates in Kwai Tsing District. It is divided into two phases and consists of a total of seven residential buildings completed in 1975 (Phase 1) and 1976 (Phase 2) respectively. Lai King station is located between the two phases.Yuet Lai Court (悅麗苑) and Yin Lai Court (賢麗苑) are Home Ownership Scheme housing courts in Kwai Chung near Lai King Estate, built in 1981 and 1991 respectively.

Highland Park (Chinese: 浩景臺) is a Sandwich Class Housing Scheme estate developed by the Hong Kong Housing Society situated at the mid-level of Lai King Hill, Kwai Chung, New Territories, Hong Kong near Lai King Fire Station and Lai King Disciplined Services Quarters. Formerly the site of Lai King Temporary Housing Area (Chinese: 荔景臨時房屋區), it consists of six residential blocks completed in 1999.

Lai King Catholic Secondary School (Chinese: 荔景天主教中學) is a Catholic secondary school in Lai King, Hong Kong. It opened in 1979 and is one of the few schools on the Lai King Estate. The school has over sixty staff and the principal is Mr Lau Kwong Yip.

Cho Yiu Chuen (Chinese: 祖堯邨) is a public housing estate developed by the Hong Kong Housing Society in Lai King, Kwai Chung, New Territories, Hong Kong. It is located near Highland Park, Lai King Estate, Yuet Lai Court, Lai King Sports Centre and Lai King Building of Princess Margaret Hospital.The estate consists of eight residential blocks completed between 1976 and 1981. It also provides elderly persons flats at Chung Ling Sheh (Chinese: 松齡舍). It was named for Sir Cho Yiu Kwan (Chinese: 關祖堯爵士), one of the founders of Hong Kong Housing Society.

Mong Chau (Chinese: 芒洲) was an island off South Kwai Chung, in the Rambler Channel, Hong Kong. The island was incorporated in the reclamation for the Chung Container Port (present-day Kwai Tsing Container Terminals). It was located between what is now Container Terminals 3 and 4. Also known as Ballast Island, Mong Chau had a fort and customs station.

Tsing Kwai Highway (Chinese: 青葵公路; pinyin: Qīngkuí Gōnglù; Cantonese Yale: ching1 kwai4 gung1 lou6) is a section of Route 3 in Hong Kong, previously known as Route 3 - Kwai Chung Section. From its junction with West Kowloon Highway at Mei Foo Roundabout, the expressway runs in the form of a 3 km dual-4 lane viaduct atop Kwai Chung Road and Kwai Tai Road, circumscribing the container terminals to reach the Rambler Channel. Then, the highway crosses the channel along a 500 m bridge known as Cheung Tsing Bridge (or Rambler Channel Bridge), and ends at its junction with the Cheung Tsing Tunnel. Tsing Kwai Highway was opened on 19 February 1997.

Kwai Tsing Container Terminals is the main port facilities in the reclamation along Rambler Channel between Kwai Chung and Tsing Yi Island, Hong Kong. It evolved from four berths of Kwai Chung Container Port (Chinese: 葵涌貨櫃碼頭) completed in the 1970s. It later expanded with two berths in the 1980s. Two additional terminals are added adjoining to Stonecutters Island in the 1990s and was renamed Kwai Chung Container Terminals. In the 2000s, Container Terminal 9 on the Tsing Yi Island was completed and the entire facility was renamed to Kwai Tsing Container Terminals. It has been the eighth-busiest container port in the world since 2019, just after Shanghai, Singapore, Ningbo-Zhoushan, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Busan and Qingdao.

Lai Yiu Estate (Chinese: 麗瑤邨) is a public housing estate in Lai King, Kwai Chung, New Territories, Hong Kong. It is located near Central Kwai Chung Park and Castle Peak Road (Kwai Chung Section). It is located at the north mid-level of Lai King Estate and it consists of five residential buildings completed in 1976, 1977 and 1999 respectively. Tsui Yiu Court (翠瑤苑) is a Home Ownership Scheme housing court in Lai King. It is located near Lai Yiu Estate, Lai King Fire Station and Castle Peak Road (Kwai Chung Section). It has a single residential block completed in 1981.

Kwai Tsing Theatre (Chinese: 葵青劇院) is a major performance venue in Kwai Chung, New Territories, Hong Kong. It is located in Kwai Fong, near Kwai Fong MTR station. It was built by the Regional Council and opened on 18 November 1999 to provide a medium-size venue for performances. It has an 899-seat auditorium, a black box theatre, and various smaller function rooms.

Kwai Fong (Chinese: 葵芳) is an elevated railway station on Tsuen Wan line of Hong Kong's MTR system. Opened on 10 May 1982, it is located between Lai King and Kwai Hing stations. Named after Kwai Fong Estate, a large public housing estate to its northeast, Kwai Fong, the neighbourhood around the station, has become a transit interchange, business centre, as well as the landmark area of Kwai Chung. Since opening, all sorts of road transportation from various places in the Kwai Tsing District have converged here. A shopping centre (Metroplaza) was also built west of the station in the early 1990s. The station also serves those who work in the factories to its east. The tracks north of the station are surrounded by concrete noise barriers to minimise noise pollution for residents living near the railway.

Rambler Channel Typhoon Shelter (Chinese: 藍巴勒海峽避風塘) is a typhoon shelter in the Rambler Channel, near Kwai Chung, Hong Kong. It was built in 1966 with a size of 16 hectares (40 acres) . In 2004 the typhoon shelter was 13 hectares (32 acres) in size.Rambler Channel Public Cargo Working Area (藍巴勒海峽公眾貨物裝卸區) is just inside the typhoon shelter for ships loading and unloading cargo.
