South Ridgewood Elementary School is a school building and national historic site located at 747 S. Ridgewood Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida in Volusia County. Built in 1916, it is the oldest surviving school building in Volusia County and was one of the earliest schools in Daytona Beach. Architects Mark and Sheftall of Jacksonville designed the building, a brick structure with Prairie School features. Local architects Gehlert and Spicer planned an addition to the school in 1956. The school integrated in 1971, making it the first elementary school in Volusia County to do so. The school closed in 1983 and is now an administrative building for the Volusia County School System.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 14, 2011.

It was subdivided into 21,000 sq ft (2,000 m2) of office space in the early 1980s. Among the major professional office suites is the Celebration Title Group, the Balliker Art Gallery, Guaranteed Rate, DC Construction Company, Jane Devine, LMFT, Musca Law, Prime Lending, Zinn Legal, Street Smarts, Shawn Brown Insurance, Strategic Wealth Investments, William Weeks Architecture . Volusia Land Management Group, The office building is a family partnership business operated by the Smith family and dedicated to reinvigorating the downtown business community.

The Broadway Bridge reaches a height of 65 feet (19.9 m) and is 3,008 feet (917 m) in length. The bridge is more famous for its flair than its purpose. Mosaics of manatees, dolphins and other wildlife native to Florida give the bridge some tourist appeal. The bridge was dedicated on July 20, 2001.

Daytona Beach Bike Week, also called Daytona Bike Week, is a motorcycle event and rally held annually in Daytona Beach, Florida. Since 2021, events have been added in DeLeon Springs. Approximately 500,000 people make their way to the rally area for the 10-day event. The festivities include motorcycle racing, concerts, parties, and street festivals. The event is usually held on the first full week of March (including the Fri-Sat-Sun prior to) and contends with the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally as the most popular motorcycle rally in the United States.
