The Meinders School of Business is the business school of Oklahoma City University, a private university in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It offers courses for undergraduate, graduate, professional development, and continuing education students and undergraduate and graduate degrees in most business majors of study. The Meinders School of Business achieved initial accreditation from Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International in 2014. The Meinders School of Business' Energy Programs were the first graduate programs accredited by the American Association of Professional Landmen in 2013.

The Milk Bottle Grocery, located at 2426 N. Classen Boulevard in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is a grocery building with a large metal Braum's milk bottle atop its roof. The store was constructed in 1930, and the milk bottle was added in 1948. The bottle was designed to draw attention to the store, as the tall bottle would be visible to automobile traffic along Classen Boulevard, which was part of U.S. Route 66 at the time; it also served as an advertisement for the dairy industry. The store is also one of the few triangular buildings in Oklahoma City, as it occupies a corner lot in an area where Classen Boulevard cuts diagonally through the city's street grid. Due to its shape, the store was known as the Triangle Grocery from 1940 until 1948, when it became the Milk Bottle Grocery due to its new statue. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 5, 1998. The Saigon Baguette, a Vietnamese bánh mì shop, occupied the space for several years. In August 2014 it was announced that the building would be restored to its original appearance.

The Gold Dome, a geodesic dome in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is a landmark on Route 66. It was built in 1958 and is located at the intersection of NW 23rd Street and North Classen Boulevard. It was declared eligible to be listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

The Wanda L Bass School of Music is a College at Oklahoma City University. It offers several degrees including; a BM, MM, and a BA in several areas of Music. The Bass School of Music at Oklahoma City University is an All-Steinway School, the nation’s first Conn-Selmer School, a member of the National Alliance for Music Theatre, and winner of ASCAP’s national orchestral award for adventurous programming of contemporary music.

The Kirkpatrick Fine Art Center is the main performance venue at Oklahoma City University. It connects to the Wanda L Bass Music Center. Combined they house the Wanda L Bass School of Music and the newly formed School of Theatre. The Kirkpatrick Fine Art Center contains the Kirkpatrick Auditorium, Burg Theatre, Petree Recital Hall, and the School of Theatre Scene Shop.

The Classen (Originally Citizens Bank Tower) is residential high-rise in the uptown section of Oklahoma City, near the city's Paseo Arts District and Asian District. The tower has 21 floors and is 287 feet tall. It is currently the third tallest residential building in the city. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010. The building was finished in 1967 as the headquarters of the defunct Citizens National Bank. The tower was recently renovated and now consists of residential apartments for rent.

Abe Lemons Arena is a multi-purpose arena on the campus of Oklahoma City University in Uptown Oklahoma City. It is the home arena of the OCU Stars athletic teams, and in 2007 was to be home to the Oklahoma City Cavalry of the Continental Basketball Association. The arena seats 3,500 and was named for legendary basketball coach Abe Lemons, who won 599 games in 35 years as a head coach from 1955–90.

Oklahoma City University (OCU) is a private university historically affiliated with the United Methodist Church and located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The university offers undergraduate bachelor's degrees, graduate master's degrees and doctoral degrees, organized into eight colleges and schools and one Methodist seminary. Students can major in more than 70 undergraduate majors, 20 graduate degrees, including a JD, MBA and PhD in Nursing, and an Adult Studies Program for working adults to earn a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree. The university has approximately 3,000 students, including 1,200 graduate students. The official school and athletic colors are blue and white.

Classen School of Advanced Studies, often referred to as Classen SAS, CSAS or simply Classen, is a public speciality school serving students in grades 9–12 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Oklahoma City Public Schools program participates in the IB Diploma Programme and offers fine arts courses as well, offering art, drama, and music classes to any qualifying student. Classen is known as one of the state's premier high schools in academics, and has been ranked among the top 100 public high schools in America by the Challenge Index, as measured by the number of Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate and/or Cambridge tests taken by all students at a school in 2007 divided by the number of graduating seniors. The index is published annually in the Washington Post and Newsweek. It was ranked 14 in 2009.As Classen High School, the basketball team won state championships in 1929, 1934, 1937, 1948, 1950, 1975, and in 1980. In 1995, Classen SAS won the Class B State Championship in Academic Quiz Bowl and in 1996, Classen SAS was the Class 3A State Runner-Up in Academic Quiz Bowl. It is currently a Division 4A school.

Harding Fine Arts Academy (HFAA) is a college preparatory high school in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It is sponsored by the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.HFAA serves students from grade 9 to 12. It is a public, charter high school; there is no tuition. As a charter school, admission is open to all students with interest in the fine arts. The school also receives Title I funding. HFAA uses auditions and testing for placement, but not as a requirement for acceptance. The school accepts only 150 students per school year. The average class size is between 15 and 20 students per class. The student-teacher ratio is 12 to 1. The curriculum integrates the arts, and students are required to take 6 arts electives to graduate.Harding Fine Arts Academy was founded in 2005 by attorney John L. Belt. HFAA owns the historic Harding High School building dating to 1924 after their bid to purchase it was approved by the Oklahoma City Public School Board. The school's swimming pool has been converted into a dance studio.HFAA is a National Blue Ribbon school and has been placed in the top 5 in Oklahoma by US News & World Report, the top 500 for disadvantaged students nationwide by Newsweek, rated A+ by the Oklahoma Department of Education and was the first school to be rated OKA+ by the University of Central Oklahoma.

Uptown is an area near the mid 23rd Street of Oklahoma City due east of Asia District. It includes Oklahoma City University and numerous ethnic shops and gritty venues. Among them, Tower Theatre is currently being remodeled to become a large-scale venue with new storefronts. This project is expected to spin off similar developments as the neighborhood picks up once again.
