Alorna

Fort Santa Cruz de Alorna also known as Halarn fort or Alorna Fort is one of the oldest forts in Goa. It is situated 30 kilometers from the town of Mapusa. It was constructed by the Bhonsles of Sawantwadi in the 17th century, to defend against the Maratha attacks. From there, one can get a good view of the surrounding river and land. The renovation work of the Alorna fort has been completed and is open for public. The renovation work has been carried out by the Archeological Survey of India. and is not open to public.

Manohar International Airport (IATA: GOX, ICAO: VOGA), is an international airport at Mopa in Pernem Taluka, North Goa district in the state of Goa, India. It serves North Goa and the adjoining districts of Karnataka and Maharashtra, and as a second airport of Goa after Dabolim Airport in Dabolim. The airport is developed by GMR Goa International Airport Limited (GGIAL), a special purpose vehicle (SPV). It is built at a cost of ₹3,000 crore (equivalent to ₹32 billion or US$400 million in 2023). The airport is built under the Build Operate Transfer (BOT) model in four phases, with the first phase costing a total of ₹1,500 crore (equivalent to ₹16 billion or US$200 million in 2023). It is named after the former Minister of Defence and the former Chief Minister of Goa, Manohar Parrikar.It was expected to be completed by the financial year 2019–2020, but was delayed due to a Supreme Court order that impeded work on site, and also due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, which caused lockdowns, restrictions, and curfews, resulting in lack of labor and delays in construction. The airport was completed and opened on 11 December 2022, with operations starting from 5 January 2023 with the first flight operated by IndiGo.The concession period for the greenfield project is 40 years with a possible extension of another 20 years through a bid process. The airport will cater to 4.4 million passengers in the first phase and 13.1 million by the end of the fourth phase. The airport will operate on a hybrid model with 30% cross-subsidy, and the concession offers 232 acres of land for commercial city-side development for a period of 60 years.

Netarde is a village in Sawantwadi Taluk, Sindhudurg District, Maharashtra, India. It is located along the state border with Goa, about 45 kilometres southeast of the district capital Oros, and 18 kilometres southeast of the taluk capital Sawantwadi. As of 2011, it had a population of 990.

Nadora is a village at one end of the North Goa taluka, or sub-district, of Bardez. It is divided by the Colvale river from the northernmost Goa taluka of Pernem or Pednem. It lies between Pirna to its east, and Revora to its west.

Pirna is a village in the North Goa sub-district or taluka of Bardez and is located in the northern edge of the sub-district. It is close to the Colvale river and is the home of the 150-metre long Pirna-Ozarim bridge at Thorli Chandai. The bridge connects Pirna in Bardez taluka with Pernem taluka. It was inaugurated in May 2006.

Raneache Zuem (transl. Rane's Island) is a small island situated within the North Goa district of Goa, a coastal state in India. It is in close proximity to the village of Revora, with the two connected by a well-known tourist spot called Zuem Bridge (Island Bridge). This small island, located on the banks of the Chapora River, is home to approximately 26 to 30 houses. Administratively, the island falls under the jurisdiction of the Nadora village panchayat, which is part of the Bardez Taluka.

Pernem railway station (Station code: PERN) is a railway station in North Goa district of Goa state.It is part of the Konkan Railway, in the town of Pernem in the North Goa district of Goa State and is under Karwar railway division of Konkan Railway zone, a subsidiary zone of Indian Railways.

Revora is a village, 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from Mapusa in Bardez, Goa, India. It lies on the banks of the Chapora River. It comes in the purview of Tivim constituency. The village is famous for its seventeenth century church. The traditional occupation of the villagers has been paddy cultivation and fishing in the river. Many villagers are now involved in sand extraction industry, wherein sand extracted from the river bed and to sold to the construction industry.

Patradevi ( Konkani-Potradeo) is a town in the Pernem taluk of Goa on the Goa-Maharashtra border. The Patradevi checkpost is located in this town. There is a private bus service to Netarde.

Sircaim (or Sirsaim) is a village situated in the Bardez sub-district or taluka of Goa, which lies along the west-coast of India. It lies close to or within the mining belt of North Goa. It is home to a football academy for youth, and a jetty for iron-ore transportation. Though located in Bardez, it has also been involved in mining activities which are otherwise mainly based in Bicholim and other sub-districts of Goa.
