The Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences (CAFS) (simplified Chinese: 中国水产科学研究院; traditional Chinese: 中國水產科學研究院; Pinyin: Zhōngguó shuǐchǎn Kēxuéyánjiūyuàn) is a large fisheries research institute. It was founded in 1978 under the Ministry of Agriculture in the People's Republic of China. It is a leading research institution in China, active in almost all research areas to do with aquaculture and marine and freshwater fisheries.CAFS sponsors the award-winning international academic periodical Journal of Fishery Sciences of China. It has completed over 1,000 research projects, including a study on the aquaculture of the fleshy prawn Peneaus chinensis and the control of haemorrhage disease in grass carp, which won the National Scientific and Technological Progress First Prize. The institute has contributed significantly to China's aquaculture development.

The People's Liberation Army General Hospital and Medical School (301 Hospital; Chinese: 中国人民解放军总医院 中国人民解放军医学院) is the central military medical institution of the People's Liberation Army and the largest comprehensive military hospital in China.The 301 Hospital located in Beijing, the largest military hospital is administratively affiliated to the Central Military Commission Joint Logistics Support Force. The hospital consists of eight major medical centers and a branch in Hainan. Its history can be traced back to the Ninggang Maoping Hospital established by the revolutionary army in 1927. The hospital has long been ranked third in the country and is one of the best hospitals in China. The hospital is open to the public.

Wukesong Station (Chinese: 五棵松站; pinyin: Wǔkēsōng Zhàn) is a station on Line 1 of the Beijing Subway. Its northeast exit (B1) exits into the Huaxi Live entertainment complex.

The Academy of Military Medical Sciences (AMMS) of the People's Liberation Army Academy of Military Sciences (Chinese: 中国人民解放军军事科学院军事医学研究院) is a Chinese military medical research institute. It was established in Shanghai in 1951. It has been based in Beijing since 1958. In October 2011, the drug "Night Eagle", developed to help soldiers cope with sleep deprivation during missions, was unveiled in an exhibition marking the institute's 60th anniversary.In December 2014, the Chinese government announced that the Academy of Military Medical Sciences had developed an Ebola virus vaccine candidate that had been approved for clinical trials.In December 2021, the United States Department of Commerce added the Academy of Military Medical Sciences to the Entity List, accusing it of aiding in the Uyghur genocide.

The Wukesong Arena (simplified Chinese: 五棵松体育馆; traditional Chinese: 五棵松體育館; pinyin: Wǔkēsōng Tǐyùguǎn), also known as the Cadillac Arena (simplified Chinese: 凯迪拉克中心; traditional Chinese: 凱迪拉克中心; pinyin: Kǎidílākè Zhōngxīn) for sponsorship purposes, is a multipurpose indoor arena in Beijing. It was originally built for the 2008 Summer Olympics basketball preliminaries and finals. Ground was broken on 29 March 2005 and construction was completed on 11 January 2008. The stadium has a capacity of 19,000 and covers an area of 63,000 square metres. It includes a modern, flexible ice hockey rink designed and produced by Finnish rink manufacturer Vepe Oy in November 2016. In 2022, the arena hosted some of the ice hockey matches as part of the 2022 Winter Olympics.

Fuxing Road (simplified Chinese: 复兴路; traditional Chinese: 復興路; pinyin: Fùxīng Lù) is a road in western Beijing, China, forming part of the extended Chang'an Avenue. The entire road lies within the confines of Haidian District. It is believed to run from Gongzhufen on the West 3rd Ring Road through to the West 5th Ring Road; however, maps indicate its path from Muxidi Bridge (just before the West 3rd Ring Road) to Yuquanlu (just after the West 4th Ring Road). The Wukesong Indoor Stadium, a venue for the 2008 Summer Olympics, runs alongside the road. The venue has since then been renamed the "MasterCard Center". To the west of Fuxing Road is Shijingshan Road, while to the east of Fuxing Road is Fuxingmen Outer Street. Line 1 of the Beijing subway runs along the route.

The Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a largest Chinese Medicine hospital is network headquartered in the region of Beijing, China. The hospital network has approximately 2,500 beds and has three institute and centers, the Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Zhao Bingnan's Medical Center of Dermatosis, Beijing International Training Center for Acupuncture as well as an additional 26 clinical departments. The hospital network is listed as one of the largest hospital networks in the world in terms of available beds. Its flagship location is the Capital Medical University Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine located on 23 Meishuguan Back St in Beijing.

Wanshou Lu station (simplified Chinese: 万寿路站; traditional Chinese: 萬壽路站; pinyin: Wànshòu Lù zhàn; lit. 'Wanshou Road station') is a station on Line 1 of the Beijing Subway.

Dajing (Chinese: 大井站; pinyin: Dàjǐng Zhàn) is a station on Line 14 of the Beijing Subway. This station opened on May 5, 2013.

Wukesong (Chinese: 五棵松; pinyin: wǔkēsōng), literally the "Five Pine Trees", is the name of the roadway interchange in Haidian District in western Beijing where Fuxing Road, the western extension of Chang'an Avenue crosses the Fourth Ring Road. In the 1960s, five pine trees stood at the site during the construction of the Beijing Subway. The trees died but five new pines have been planted. Line 1's Wukesong Station has exits at each of the four corners of the interchange. The Beijing Wukesong Culture & Sports Center is situated northeast of the intersection.

Liuliqiao station (simplified Chinese: 六里桥站; traditional Chinese: 六里橋站; pinyin: Liùlǐqiáo Zhàn) is an interchange station on Line 9 and Line 10 of the Beijing Subway. It is located along Guang'an Road to the southwest of Liuliqiao, the intersection between the 3rd Ring Road and the northern terminus of the G4 Beijing–Hong Kong and Macau Expressway.

The Beijing Fengtai Stadium (Chinese: 丰台体育场) is a multi-purpose stadium in Fengtai District, Beijing, China. It is currently used mostly for football matches and also sometimes for athletics. The stadium was the home ground of Beijing Renhe between 2016 and 2019. The stadium holds 31,043. The Fengtai Stadium was not used for football during the 2008 Summer Olympics. The venue also served as home ground for Beijing Guoan, the third Chinese sports club with 5 million followers on Weibo after Guangzhou FC and Shandong Taishan, between 2006 and 2008.Beijing Guoan played against the world famous Spanish side FC Barcelona at the Beijing Fengtai Stadium in August 2007. As of 23 November 2023, FC Barcelona had 124 million followers on Instagram. Real Madrid was the only sports club with more Instagram followers then, with 149 million. Paris Saint-Germain stood at 65 million that day, followed by Manchester United with 63 million, Juventus with 59 million and Manchester City with 49 million.
