The Exchange is a Grade I listed building built in 1741–43 by John Wood the Elder, on Corn Street, near the junction with Broad Street in Bristol, England. It was previously used as a corn and general trade exchange but is now used as offices and St Nicholas Market. The Exchange underwent major building work in 1872, including roofing over the courtyard, and again in the early 1900s when the City Valuer's Department moved to the building. Since World War II the external clock tower has been removed and the roof lowered. Outside the building are four bronze tables dating from the 16th and 17th centuries, known as "nails," at which merchants carried out their business. At the front of the building is a clock showing both Greenwich Mean Time and "local time".

St Nicholas Market is a market in Corn Street, Bristol, England in The Exchange in the Bristol City Centre. It is also home to the Bristol Farmers' Market, the Nails Market, and the Slow Food Market, all of which are located in front of the Exchange. It was the location of the first Berni Inn in 1956, which became a large chain, at The Rummer, a historic pub.

St Nicholas is a church in St Nicholas Street, Bristol, England. The church was bombed in the Second World War and rebuilt in 1974–1975 as a church museum. This museum closed in 2007 and the building was used by the city council as offices; in 2018 the church came back into use as an Anglican place of worship in the Diocese of Bristol.

All Saints is a closed Anglican church in Corn Street, Bristol. For many years it was used as a Diocesan Education Centre but this closed in 2015. The building has been designated as a grade II* listed building.

Christ Church with St Ewen (grid reference ST588730) is a Church of England parish church in Broad Street, Bristol, England. Christ Church was built between 1786 and 1791. The tower appears to have been designed by Thomas Paty who was architect to the vestry, and the body of the church by his son William, and built by Thomas Paty and Sons, replacing a medieval one. The entrance and refurbished interior are by Henry Williams in 1883. The building was restored by Priest-in-charge Rev. G. S. Zimmern in 1973. On the tower quarter-boy figures strike the quarter hours on the Automaton clock. It has been designated as a Grade II* listed building.

The Former Everard's Printing Works (grid reference ST588730) is at 37-38 Broad Street in Bristol, England. It has been designated as a Grade II* listed building.It was built in 1900 by Henry Williams, with the Modern Style (British Art Nouveau style) facade by W.J. Neatby, who was the chief designer for Doulton and Co., as the main works for the printer Edward Everard. It has a triple archway design on the ground floor with two on the first floor and four on the upper floor. Above them is a female figure holding a lamp and a mirror symbolising Light and Truth. The arches were to reflect the Church of St John the Baptist a little further along Broad Street.Most of the red brick building was demolished in 1970 but the Modern Style facade was preserved as it is the largest decorative Doulton Carrara ware tile facade of its kind in Britain (so named from its resemblance to Carrara marble). The contributions of William Morris and Johannes Gutenberg to printing and literature are celebrated in the design. Behind each figure are typefaces representing their work. After the demolition of the rest of the building the facade was incorporated into a new building which was used as offices by the NatWest bank. It was later converted to be the Clayton Hotel, which opened in 2022.

High Street, together with Wine Street, Broad Street and Corn Street, is one of the four cross streets which met at the carfax, later the site of the Bristol High Cross, the heart of Bristol, England when it was a walled medieval town. From this crossroads High Street runs downhill south-east to Bristol Bridge, a distance of approximately 155m.Once an important shopping street, wartime destruction and post-war planning have left High Street shabby and a constraint on pedestrian movement between the Old City and Castle Park. Bristol City Council are now seeking to redevelop the area to repair this.

The Commercial Rooms (grid reference ST587729) are in Corn Street, Bristol, England. Built in 1810 by Charles Busby, the building has sculpture by J. G. Bubb. Originally it housed a club for mercantile interests and during the mid-19th century it was a haunt of local prostitutes. The retained wind vane above the bar would let merchants know whether it was safe for their ships to negotiate the treacherous Avon Gorge, and the wall boards still contain the names of all the club's presidents, treasurers and secretaries. It is now a pub owned by Wetherspoons.

The Dutch House was a large timber-framed building situated at Nos 1 and 2, High Street Bristol, England. It was a well-known local landmark until its destruction in 1940.

It was built as the site of a branch of The Bank of England.It was built in 1844-47 by Charles Robert Cockerell with a Doric pseudo-portico of three bays recessed between low pavilions: the attic storey is arcaded with a triangular pediment .It has been designated by Historic England as a Grade I listed building.The building is now used as the Bristol Citizens Advice Bureau.
