The International Crane Foundation (ICF) is a non-profit conservation organization that works to conserve cranes and the ecosystems, watersheds, and flyways on which they depend. Founded in 1973, the International Crane Foundation is headquartered in Baraboo, Wisconsin on a 250-acre property that includes live crane exhibits with 15 crane species, a visitor center, breeding facilities, a research library and nature trails. The foundation works worldwide and in the US with local partners to raise and conserve cranes. The Foundation maintains a regional base in China and shares program offices with partner organizations in Cambodia, India, South Africa, Texas, Vietnam, and Zambia. The International Crane Foundation's approximately 80 staff work with a network of hundreds of specialists in over 50 countries on five continents.

Camp Gray is a Catholic summer camp and retreat center located in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. It is a ministry of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Madison, Wisconsin, and is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA). Its mission is to "Camp Gray invites people of all ages to encounter Jesus Christ in all creation, experience a fun and vibrant Catholic community, and be challenged to ever more deeply know, love and serve God and neighbor.". Camp Gray's summer program consists of nine one-week sessions for campers ranging in age from 6-18. Typical camp activities include archery, arts and crafts, and fishing. Camp Gray also serves as a retreat center.

Daisho Con was an annual three-day multi-genre convention held during November at the Kalahari Resorts: Wisconsin Dells in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. The convention's name came from a small sword used by the samurai, named 'daisho'.

The University of Wisconsin–Platteville Baraboo Sauk County is a two-year branch campus of the University of Wisconsin–Platteville, located in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Founded in 1968, it was known as University of Wisconsin–Baraboo/Sauk County and was a part of the University of Wisconsin Colleges. It joined UW-Platteville in 2018 as a branch campus following dissolution of the UW-Colleges program. The University offers 5 associate degrees and 1 bachelor's degree. The 68-acre (28 ha) campus overlooks the Baraboo bluffs and is intersected by the Ice Age Trail. The college had an enrollment of 216 undergraduates in 2021, down from a maximum of 758 students in 2000.

West Baraboo is a village along the Baraboo River in Sauk County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,627 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Baraboo micropolitan statistical area. West Baraboo was previously known as Lyons.

Baraboo High School is a high school in Baraboo, Wisconsin, and is a part of the Baraboo School District. It serves more than 900 students in grades 9–12 from Baraboo, West Baraboo, North Freedom, and a portion of Lake Delton. The school's colors are blue and gold.

The Manchester Street Bridge is a camelback steel truss bridge in Baraboo, Wisconsin in Sauk County. The bridge was constructed in 1884 by the Milwaukee Bridge & Iron Works to carry Manchester Street over the Baraboo River. It replaced an earlier bridge that was lost to a flood; the first bridge was likely built after 1877 based on maps from the period. The bridge is 128 feet (39 m) long and 14 feet 2 inches (4.32 m) wide. It is one of two camelback truss bridges remaining in Wisconsin and the only one from the 19th century. In 1987 it was moved to Ochsner Park where it was placed on new abutments while still spanning the Baraboo River as pedestrian bridge. The bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 13, 1988.

The A. G. Tuttle Estate is a historic house at S4456 Elizabeth Street in Baraboo, Wisconsin. The house was built in 1869 for A. G. Tuttle, a merchant and nursery owner who moved to Baraboo from New England. Tuttle was known for developing local varieties of fruit, especially apples; a Russian apple variety he grew brought him customers from throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota, and he was president of the Wisconsin Horticultural Society for several years. Tuttle's house is designed in the Carpenter Gothic style; the style was most popular in the Eastern United States, including Tuttle's native New England, in the mid-nineteenth century. The house has a cross-gabled plan featuring steep gable ends with decorative bargeboard along their eaves, board and batten siding, a porch supported by wooden columns at the front entrance, and a bay window with wooden corbelling. The house's interior includes a trompe-l'oeil of Venus, a landscape mural in the dining room that features the house itself, a plaster rosette on the parlor ceiling, and many detailed moldings.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 6, 1980.

The Jacob van Orden House is a historic house at 531 4th Avenue in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Jacob Van Orden, the president of the Bank of Baraboo, had the house constructed for his family in 1903. Milwaukee architectural firm Ferry & Clas designed the Tudor Revival house, which was built by George and Carl Isenberg of Baraboo. The three-story house has a red brick first floor and a stucco exterior with half-timbering on the upper floors. Its design also includes a front porch with a second-story balcony, bay windows on the front facade, and a roof with eight gables, all with bargeboard trim and wide eaves. The Van Orden family lived in the house until 1938; the Sauk County Historical Museum moved into the house the following year.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 6, 1996.

The Albrecht C. Ringling House is a historic house at 623 Broadway in Baraboo, Wisconsin. The house was built in 1906 for Albrecht C. Ringling, the eldest of the Ringling brothers, and his wife Louise. By the time of the house's construction, the Ringling Brothers Circus was among the largest in the country, and it would acquire the Barnum and Bailey Circus the following year. The two-and-a-half story mansion has a Richardsonian Romanesque design and was built using brownstone quarried at Port Wing, Wisconsin. The house's design features a wraparound front porch topped by a square tower at the northeast corner, a porte-cochere on one side, and a hip roof interrupted by multiple gables. The interior decoration includes oak and mahogany woodwork, a marble fireplace, and a large painted landscape. Baraboo's Elks lodge bought the house from Ringling's family in 1936 and used it as a clubhouse for several decades; it is currently a historic house museum and brewery.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 17, 1976.

The Charles Ringling House is a historic house at 201 8th Street in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Charles Ringling, one of the five brothers who founded the Ringling Brothers Circus, had the house built in 1900 for his family. Brothers George and Karl Isenberg of Baraboo built the Georgian Revival house. The two-story house features a long front porch supported by Ionic columns, a balustrade along the porch roof, two-story pilasters dividing the house's three bays, and a pediment atop the central bay. The property also includes a carriage house, a cottage, and a barn. Ringling and his wife Edith lived in the house until 1912, when they moved to Sarasota, Florida.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 21, 1997.
