William Swain House

The Pullman Flatiron Building in downtown Pullman, Washington, in Whitman County, also known as Flatiron Building, was constructed in 1904-05. It faces Main Street and is located between Grand Avenue and the High Street plaza. It was designed by William Swain, a prolific local architect who is considered to be Pullman's first. The two-story flatiron was built as an office building in a triangular shape, on what's stated to be the only triangular lot in the city, conforming to the angle between two grids of streets. Multiple businesses have occupied the building over its lifetime, including banks, insurance companies, and a dentist.

The Cordova Theater in Pullman, Washington is a Mission/Spanish Revival style theater that was designed by architects Whitehouse & Price and interior decorator Carl R. Berg. It was constructed in 1927. "In 1950 an "Art Deco-style marquee with neon lighting" was added.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004, at which time it had run movies for "76 years and [was] the oldest and longest-running movie house in Pullman".

The Old Post Office is a historic building in Pullman, Washington listed on the National Register of Historic Places as U.S. Post Office-Pullman. The building served as Pullman's post office until 1975, when a new post office was constructed. The Old Post Office subsequently hosted various businesses, including a movie theater, a bakery, and a gun store. In 2002, a new owner began restoration of the building, leading to its NRHP listing in 2003. In 2005, the Old Post Office was home to a wine shop, a wine bar, a winery, and a café. As of 2010, the building is the home of Paradise Creek Brewery, a microbrewery and brewpub.

The Star Route and Palouse Street Brick Road, in Pullman, Washington, also known by the nickname Red Brick Roads are a block of NE Maple St. and a block of NE Palouse St. and together are the last remaining brick streets in the city. In the early 2010s, students in WSU's School of Design & Construction researched the history and significance of the brick roads. The course project led to listings on the Pullman Register of Historic Places and the National Register of Historic Places in 2014. The roads, paved in 1913, are important landmarks because of their connection with the Good Roads Movement. They made transportation easier along the only of the city's Star routes, providing an essential connection between the Northern Pacific Railroad depot and the growing campus of Washington State College (now known as Washington State University). The steepest part of the route to campus (which included the block of what is today NE Maple St. and NE Palouse St.) received brick paving to provide traction for horses and automobiles—particularly during the difficult winter months.

Pullman School District #267 is a public school district in Whitman County, Washington, USA and serves the city of Pullman. As of May 2011, the district has an enrollment of 2,430 students and as of October 2010, the district had an enrollment of 126 classroom teachers.

The Dumas Seed Company warehouse, located in Pullman, Washington at 110 Whitman Street, is a steel pre-engineered structure that served for several decades as an agriculture storage facility for dry peas harvested from farms around the Palouse region. The warehouse served as a storage depot for a series of agricultural growers, before its conversion into an RV and boat storage facility in 2002 its current owners. Centrally located in Pullman's "Original Town Neighborhood," the structure is also central to the city's historical roots in agriculture and farming.

The United Presbyterian Church in Pullman, Washington, also known as the Greystone Church, is a historic Presbyterian church which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. After being slated for demolition in 2002 the building was purchased and restored. In 2018 it was listed on the Pullman Register of Historic Places. In 2023, it is an apartment building. Mainly built in 1914, it is a "massive structure built of quarry-faced, ashlar Tenino sandstone on a base of rough cut basalt". It was designed by prolific local architect William Swain.The original church on the site was a wood frame building built in 1898-99. In 1912 this building was moved to the back of the property and rotated 90 degrees. A larger stone church was built in front in 1914, and the original building was faced in the same quarry-faced stone to unify the entire composition."

The College Hill Historic District in Pullman, Washington is a 23.7-acre historic district that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006. The listing included 81 contributing properties. The district includes work by several notable architects elected to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects, including David M. Scott, Stanley Albert Smith, Rudolph Weaver, Harry C. Weller, and Harold C. Whitehouse.

Pullman High School is a public secondary school in the city of Pullman, Washington, the home of Washington State University. It is the only traditional public high school in the city and in the Pullman School District (#267). A four-year high school, it accepts students from Lincoln Middle School in Pullman (fed by four public elementary schools: Franklin Elementary School, Sunnyside Elementary School, Jefferson Elementary School, Kamiak Elementary School) and other schools around the area in different towns. Pullman High School's mascot is the greyhound and the school colors are blue and gray.

The Elmina White Honors Hall, also known as Honors Hall is a residence hall located on the main campus of Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. It was designed by Stanley Smith, the head of the architecture department at Washington State University (1924-1947), and was completed in 1928. It was later remodeled into student housing and faculty offices in 2001, costing $15.3 million. It is located in the northwest corner of Washington State University (WSU) in Pullman, Washington. Its original purpose was to house the Home Economics department as part of the College of Domestic Economy. Following the 2001 reconstruction, the four-story building, with a converted basement, was transformed into three floors of residential suites with classrooms, offices, and a library for the WSU Honors College on the ground floor, and several multi-purpose rooms in the basement. It was designed in a Georgian Revival style and was referred to as an “elegant architectural statement” in a report provided by the Washington State University Task Force for Historic Preservation in 1985.

The Edward R. Murrow College of Communication is a college of Washington State University (WSU) named in honor of one of WSU's most famous alumni, Edward R. Murrow. The college was launched July 1, 2008. Previously it was the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication housed in the College of Liberal Arts. The Murrow College offers undergraduate sequences in Communication & Society, Journalism & Media Production, and Strategic Communication. The College offers emphases in Communication, Technology, & Social Influence and Media & Health Promotion at the graduate level. The Murrow College currently has 35 faculty, 584 undergraduate students and 30 graduate students.
