College Hill Historic District (Pullman, Washington)

Pullman () is the largest city in Whitman County, located in southeastern Washington within the Palouse region of the Pacific Northwest. The population was 29,799 at the 2010 census, and estimated to be 34,506 in 2019. Originally founded as Three Forks, the city was renamed after industrialist George Pullman in 1884.Pullman is noted as a fertile agricultural area known for its many miles of rolling hills and the production of wheat and legumes. It is home to Washington State University, a public research land-grant university, and the international headquarters of Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories. Pullman is eight miles (13 km) from Moscow, Idaho, home to the University of Idaho, and is served by the Pullman–Moscow Regional Airport.

The Elmina White Honors Hall, also known as Honors Hall is a residence hall located on the main campus of Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. It was designed by Stanley Smith, the head of the architecture department at Washington State University (1924-1947), and was completed in 1928. It was later remodeled into student housing and faculty offices in 2001, costing $15.3 million. It is located in the northwest corner of Washington State University (WSU) in Pullman, Washington. Its original purpose was to house the Home Economics department as part of the College of Domestic Economy. Following the 2001 reconstruction, the four-story building, with a converted basement, was transformed into three floors of residential suites with classrooms, offices, and a library for the WSU Honors College on the ground floor, and several multi-purpose rooms in the basement. It was designed in a Georgian Revival style and was referred to as an “elegant architectural statement” in a report provided by the Washington State University Task Force for Historic Preservation in 1985.

Scott/Coman Hall is a residence hall complex located on the main campus of Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. It consists of two separate buildings, Coman Hall and Scott Hall.

The Edward R. Murrow College of Communication is a college of Washington State University (WSU) named in honor of one of WSU's most famous alumni, Edward R. Murrow. The college was launched July 1, 2008. Previously it was the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication housed in the College of Liberal Arts. The Murrow College offers undergraduate sequences in Communication & Society, Journalism & Media Production, and Strategic Communication. The College offers emphases in Communication, Technology, & Social Influence and Media & Health Promotion at the graduate level. The Murrow College currently has 35 faculty, 584 undergraduate students and 30 graduate students.

The Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture is one of eleven colleges at Washington State University.

Bryan Hall is a prominent collegiate building in the northwest United States, on the campus of Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. Located in the historic campus core, it is named for Enoch A. Bryan (1855–1941), the president of the college from 1893 to 1915. Easily distinguished by its clock tower, it is currently home to WSU’s Thomas Foley Institute, an auditorium and workshop used by the School of Music for musical theatre and opera productions, along with offices for the university's Global Learning and International Programs.

The Regents Hill residential complex, also known as Regents Hall, is a residence hall located on the main campus of Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. Designed by Paul Thiry and completed in 1952, it was the first International Style building on the Washington State University campus. It is one of the many dormitories on the Washington State University campus available to undergraduates. Variously called "Regents Hall" and the "Regents Hill Halls," the complex (originally named the "New Women's Dormitory" and officially renamed the "Regents Hill Dormitories" on December 4, 1951), consists of two, four-story linked residential wings, McGregor Hall and Barnard Hall, and Stearns Hall—a free-standing dining hall and common space. Together with Scott Coman Hall just to its northwest (completed in 1958), the complex ushered in a new era of campus design featuring large, technologically sophisticated, light-filled concrete buildings for research, teaching, and residential life. Regents Hill was also the first residential hall built following World War II at what was, in 1952, still called Washington State College (WSC). The college became Washington State University in 1959.

The United Presbyterian Church in Pullman, Washington, also known as the Greystone Church, is a historic Presbyterian church which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. After being slated for demolition in 2002 the building was purchased and restored. In 2018 it was listed on the Pullman Register of Historic Places. In 2023, it is an apartment building. Mainly built in 1914, it is a "massive structure built of quarry-faced, ashlar Tenino sandstone on a base of rough cut basalt". It was designed by prolific local architect William Swain.The original church on the site was a wood frame building built in 1898-99. In 1912 this building was moved to the back of the property and rotated 90 degrees. A larger stone church was built in front in 1914, and the original building was faced in the same quarry-faced stone to unify the entire composition."

The Dumas Seed Company warehouse, located in Pullman, Washington at 110 Whitman Street, is a steel pre-engineered structure that served for several decades as an agriculture storage facility for dry peas harvested from farms around the Palouse region. The warehouse served as a storage depot for a series of agricultural growers, before its conversion into an RV and boat storage facility in 2002 its current owners. Centrally located in Pullman's "Original Town Neighborhood," the structure is also central to the city's historical roots in agriculture and farming.

Bohler Gymnasium is a 3,000 seat multi-purpose arena on the campus of Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. Opened 96 years ago in 1928 and located directly northwest of Rogers Field (now the site of Martin Stadium), it was home to the Cougar basketball teams through March 1973, as the new Beasley Coliseum opened that June. A power outage at Beasley in January 1987 forced it back into service for a conference game against Arizona.Named after longtime head coach and athletic director Fred Bohler (1885–1960) in October 1946, it was refurbished in 2000 and is currently the home venue of Cougar volleyball. The only volleyball specific venue in the Pac-12. When the gym hosted the Pacific Coast Conference championship series in March 1941, its capacity was 5,600; it was estimated at 5,000 in the early 1970s.

The Carson College of Business is the business school of Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. Established in 1963, it is one of the largest of the ten colleges in WSU.

The Star Route and Palouse Street Brick Road, in Pullman, Washington, also known by the nickname Red Brick Roads are a block of NE Maple St. and a block of NE Palouse St. and together are the last remaining brick streets in the city. In the early 2010s, students in WSU's School of Design & Construction researched the history and significance of the brick roads. The course project led to listings on the Pullman Register of Historic Places and the National Register of Historic Places in 2014. The roads, paved in 1913, are important landmarks because of their connection with the Good Roads Movement. They made transportation easier along the only of the city's Star routes, providing an essential connection between the Northern Pacific Railroad depot and the growing campus of Washington State College (now known as Washington State University). The steepest part of the route to campus (which included the block of what is today NE Maple St. and NE Palouse St.) received brick paving to provide traction for horses and automobiles—particularly during the difficult winter months.
